This is really good advice. I enrolled recently in UL-Lafayette's MBA program. The total cost is just under $13k and it's a big state school with a good reputation. AACSB accredited as well. Most of these online MBA programs are equivalent in terms of what they'll do for your career, so there really isn't a compelling reason to spend lots of $$$.
Really good breakdown, Richard. An MBA is something I've considered for a long time but never pulled the trigger. So far it hasn't held me back in the slightest. But I know that ceiling is near.

I’m applying for the Illinois imba program from Japan, I think the tuition is fine for me, I can do it without debts. I was originally gonna apply for a data science or business analytics degree. Knowing that the imba degree has business analytics concentration, It should be fine for me just not sure if it will be treated the same as a business analytics graduate.

I think it'll depend on what job you're going into...a data analytics degree will focus you on certain roles in companies whereas an MBA will give you more flexibility, while the concentration in business analytics will give you an advantage in terms of skillsets amongst MBAs.

Hello, is taking a foreign MBA such as an MBA in taiwan or something worth it for a freelance ? I have experience in marketing (the opposit of what they teach at uni but brings double the results). I would like to structure, organize small business ect.. Is an MBA the right thing for me ? knowing that it costs around $4000.
If you're looking to just do freelance, I would forego the MBA because it won't add anything. If you're looking for the knowledge, there are a ton of free or very low cost resources online. Check out Coursera.org or Edx.org, or there's a handful of "MBA books" out there - if you go on Amazon there are a few popular choices. I've personally not read any of them, but I've heard positive things.

The only thing I really care about is the (Tuition fee).
