The NFL lost all credibility when we could predict that the Lions would be able to march down the field easily and score the game tying TD. Based on what I've seen over the years on sportsbooks, it's become obvious to me when the refs are going to manufacture a dramatic ending. All the books let you bet on Dallas the other night up until the final minute. In a normal football game, Dallas closes it out without any drama and kills the clock, but that would be boring. The NFL is now the WWE.

Sorry Rex but I think you're wrong. The lions tried to trick the Cowboys by sending 3 linemen to the ref and they ended up confusing the ref instead. The guy reporting gets told to the defense and gets announced to the entire stadium. What's the point in trying to be sneaky in that situation. AND if the Cowboys defense got told 70 was reporting then it's not fair to them that they let 68 catch the pass. In the end, the Lions got 2 more chances after that play and they didn't get it. So they got their chance to get that 2pt conversion, twice on legal plays for the offense and they didn't get it.

Fun fact, intentionally using an entering substitute (Dan Skipper) to confuse the opponent (an ineligible 6th lineman running at the referee to "fake" reporting as eligible) is unsportsmanlike conduct. Rule 5, Section 2, Article 11. And Rule 12, Section 3, Article 1. Also, the referee tells the defense who reported and often announces it by microphone, so it isn't a secret who the 5 eligible receivers are.
Let’s not forget CeeDee fumbled the ball out of the endzone and Prescott threw an INT. So the score could have easily been 14+ more and the loss wouldn’t be so controversial. 😂
All these Cowboy fans….. First, it was illegal formation which you were wrong. Now you are complaining about the tripping call. Cheap talk. We don’t talk about the blown pass interference call on St. Brown. That last call cost us the game and our seeding. Biggest F up since picking up the flag. Weird that was against the Cowboys. You were given that game.
2 linemen had to report. Skipper had to report a substitution. All he needs to report, is eye to eye contact with the ref. If the ref doesn't see it before the snap, the offense will be called for "illegal substitution", so Skipper (70) had to be there. #68 Decker has to report as an eligible receiver and did so. If the head ref saw Skipper line up as a guard and thought Skipper was reported as an eligible receiver, the head ref should have blown the play dead before the snap. Also, there's a PREGAME with the refs and head coach 1 to 2 hrs before the game in the locker room where they go over trick plays and personnel changes to avoid the very thing we saw. Detroit did everything they were supposed to. Refs wrecked this game by incompetency or worse.
I love the narrative that the cowboys pay the refs, when they are the most penatalized team over the past 3 seasons. And parsons hasn’t drawn a hold since week 6
@matthewdoe9439 terrible call. But I think the tripping call was worse. It was 1st and 10 on our own 49 yard line. And that pushed us back 15 yards. And set this whole thing in motion. The game would’ve been over if the refs didn’t make the wrong call in the first place
Sorry, Rex: "The league views the situation as an effort by the Lions to engage in deception and gamesmanship that backfired,” Florio said. “Basically, the Lions wanted the Cowboys to think Skipper was reporting as eligible and that Decker was not. Which would have caused the Cowboys to cover Skipper, not Decker, when the play unfolded. The problem is that, in trying to confuse the Cowboys, the Lions confused Allen.”
But what was he told? He was probably told that the Lions might run tackle eligibles at the goal line. He probably wasn't told that the Lions would send over an additional lineman to deceive the Cowboys.@@robertkurtz6691
I agree with Rex; I believe the ref saw 68 before 70 even started onto the field, he was standing right in front of him. What other reason would he be standing there out of the huddle if not to report?
You're all wrong...Even if 68 reported , he was ineligible because he was not covered up and therefore they could have called illegal motion... so his catch was illegal regardless.
If 68 had reported, he would have been eligible cause as an eligible you line up on the outside on the LOS. You cannot cover up an eligible receiver on the LOS
I dont want to see Dak throw the ball for over 300 yards or ceedee run for over 200 yards. WE NEED TO RUN THE BALL AND STOP THE RUN AND WE CANT DO EITHER CONSISTENTLY
Do we think 68 would be wide open if the cowboys knew he was eligible? Don’t think so, you could argue this play wouldn’t have even worked if the cowboys even knew 68 was eligible
There needs to be an investigation done to see if tampering was done, also love how rex went from defending the lions to saying the bears could be better next year 😅
U clearly hear the ref say 70 was eligible if 68 is announced correctly the defence would have been different don’t kid yourself and if the tripping call was called correctly the game wouldn’t have gotten to that point anyways
The ref screwed up bad. He should be fired. With hmthat being said if this play was earlier in the game it would be a non issue. Every game has bad calls, dropped passes, fumbles, interceptions etc. The cowboys had a bad call right before this play that gave the lions the field position they had. The lions should of kicked a field goal. One play doesnt decide a game. It doesnt matter when.
Red Ryan!! I wanna give you a freakin hug!! The lions should’ve never seen the endzone but with Dak and The head coach for game management the lions went down the field and scored and got screwed over by the Refs. The lions deserves to win

Everyone is talking about how Detroit got screwed by the Refs but not how Dallas did! Hendershot got hit with a 15 yard penalty on the drive previous that should’ve been on Hutchinson and a 1st down for the Cowboys on th 15 yard line that pretty much would’ve ended the game!! @@jerelmerrill7100 not as egregious?! You mean highlighted! Duh! Because I guarantee if the Hendershot penalty was replayed on screen EVERYONE Would’ve talked about that up until the 2 point conversion try!
I have heard that it was announced over the PA on the field that 70 was the player given eligibility for that play. If that were the case then why didn't anybody notice that for the Lions?
Yeah but we are ignoring the fact the refs also called tripping not on the wrong player but on the wrong team! If not for that wrong call the refs wouldnt be in this Decker situation.
This was toward the end of the game. This was a blatant tripping call called on the WRONG team! This call directly changed the out come of the game. Cowboys put the game away if this call on them doesn’t get called from the messed up Refs! This call is the only reason Detroit was able to get the ball back and score.
The official ran away when the player was approaching the official. He should never be allowed to call another NFL game. This is especially horrible because the cowgirls and racist Jerry Jones benefited from this call. I wouldn’t be surprised if sleazy Jones actually slid the officials cash to ensure a W on the day Jimmy Johnson was put on the cowgirls ring of shame. This is my opinion of this entire fiasco. SICKENING.
The whole situation with the penalty sucks but if you go back and look before the play when all the lineman went up to report, the ref goes on the mic and says number 70 is eligible none of the defensive players for Dallas knew 68 was eligible
Dack plays fine and t😢 others too, but the Heck with that, how about talking about who actually won the game, the lions.how about talking about the NFL reversing that crap and giving to the rightful winners before the week is out then fine or fire all involved
The Cowboys are victims of this as well. If 68 is identified as eligible, he’s covered and this is a non issue, giving them a clean victory, which is now tainted.

More than one thing can be true. But yeah Parsons is getting BONED by the refs. He'd have over 20 sacks if they could make a holding call.
@matthewdoe9439 terrible call. But I think the tripping call was worse. It was 1st and 10 on our own 49 yard line. And that pushed us back 15 yards. And set this whole thing in motion. The game would’ve been over if the refs didn’t make the wrong call in the first place
Sports books ruining the game👎👎
Sorry, Rex: "The league views the situation as an effort by the Lions to engage in deception and gamesmanship that backfired,” Florio said.
“Basically, the Lions wanted the Cowboys to think Skipper was reporting as eligible and that Decker was not. Which would have caused the Cowboys to cover Skipper, not Decker, when the play unfolded. The problem is that, in trying to confuse the Cowboys, the Lions confused Allen.”
You are a joke if you believe this nonsense you are posting on the internet.
Well if allen did his job and attended the pregame coaches meeting he would have been aware of what going on
But what was he told?
The Refs created a grounding call on the Bengals the next day in a key moment.
League has got to get this fixed. It’s out of control.
People watch the games they are still making money they literally do not care about the refs being bad. If they did there'd be changes.
I dont want to see Dak throw the ball for over 300 yards or ceedee run for over 200 yards. WE NEED TO RUN THE BALL AND STOP THE RUN AND WE CANT DO EITHER CONSISTENTLY
The NFL is in cahoots with gambling and have lost me as a fan.
Do we think 68 would be wide open if the cowboys knew he was eligible? Don’t think so, you could argue this play wouldn’t have even worked if the cowboys even knew 68 was eligible
Very true. And 70 was announced as eligible.
Cheating in Dallas what’s new? if u think Goodell doesn’t approve of those tactics your kidding yourself……
Game should of been over with the botched tripping call on Dallas. This play never happens.
Dallas has no running game. They are a one horse pony. Cover Lamb and game over.
the nfl is so worried about players betting? Look at your whole ref's.??? follow the money
Stfu rex. Everyone clearly heard the ref announce 70 as eligible.
I put Purdy over Dak
Detroit got hosed..... period
Tripping call was on the Lions we got screwed 2 minus the 3 replays STOP CRYING
The ref screwed up bad. He should be fired. With hmthat being said if this play was earlier in the game it would be a non issue. Every game has bad calls, dropped passes, fumbles, interceptions etc. The cowboys had a bad call right before this play that gave the lions the field position they had. The lions should of kicked a field goal. One play doesnt decide a game. It doesnt matter when.
Get Up is the only reason im subscribed to this channel lol i love the honesty
Rex Ryan is awesome
Refs shpupd be fined and pay the players
Red Ryan!! I wanna give you a freakin hug!! The lions should’ve never seen the endzone but with Dak and The head coach for game management the lions went down the field and scored and got screwed over by the Refs. The lions deserves to win
Casual reminder to not gamble on the NFL.
Give him a receipt
Omg its over time to move on.. refs been making bad calls for 10+ yrs 🤦🏽♂️
Didn’t watch the 4th but didn’t they miss a tripping call on the Lions?
Looks like the refs sucked for both teams
Bobby Lane lied... his hex on the Lions was for a 100 years, not 50.
Chiefs were handed their game against the Bengals with a missed Chiefs offsides and an absolutely RIDICULOUS intentional grounding call, both in the 4th Quarter while the Bengals were driving. The NFL needs to clean house OR just admit the NFL is fixed!
WWE and nfl have a lot in common one let’s you know it’s entertainment the other doesn’t
How come no one talks about the bogus tripping call made against Dallas that would’ve prevented this to begin with?
Because it’s the cowboys
Bc no one cares when cowboys get screwed over.
Stop reaching. You know the Lions were robbed. Stop trying to make it about the Cowboys.
Because it’s ok when they do it, it’s a problem when we do it.
This is why nobody likes cowboy fans.
But since there was no replay they just skipped over it and the Refs got away with it!
Sounds like you agree that the officiating was trash. But no one’s complaining about the Dallas calls because they weren’t nearly as egregious. Duh.
@@jerelmerrill7100that tripping call was just as bad lmao it was on the WRONG team
@@jerelmerrill7100 not as egregious?! You mean highlighted! Duh!
Because I guarantee if the Hendershot penalty was replayed on screen EVERYONE Would’ve talked about that up until the 2 point conversion try!
THEY CALLED TRIPPING ON THE WRONG TEAM. Such tunnel vision.
I have heard that it was announced over the PA on the field that 70 was the player given eligibility for that play. If that were the case then why didn't anybody notice that for the Lions?
Cuz they confused everyone lol😅
Yeah but we are ignoring the fact the refs also called tripping not on the wrong player but on the wrong team! If not for that wrong call the refs wouldnt be in this Decker situation.
We could go back even farther in the game of you like?
Oh but we won’t talk about the clear holding on Amon Ra
@@apc3036point is, refs were bad all game for both teams.
@@Yuu11238yes that ref team was crappy. All these officiating teams are terrible. It is messing up the game.
This was toward the end of the game. This was a blatant tripping call called on the WRONG team! This call directly changed the out come of the game. Cowboys put the game away if this call on them doesn’t get called from the messed up Refs! This call is the only reason Detroit was able to get the ball back and score.
National Fixed League
The official ran away when the player was approaching the official. He should never be allowed to call another NFL game. This is especially horrible because the cowgirls and racist Jerry Jones benefited from this call. I wouldn’t be surprised if sleazy Jones actually slid the officials cash to ensure a W on the day Jimmy Johnson was put on the cowgirls ring of shame. This is my opinion of this entire fiasco. SICKENING.
the refs cost detroit millions of dollars. i hope sheila sues
Never bet on a football game.
The whole situation with the penalty sucks but if you go back and look before the play when all the lineman went up to report, the ref goes on the mic and says number 70 is eligible none of the defensive players for Dallas knew 68 was eligible
Dack plays fine and t😢 others too, but the Heck with that, how about talking about who actually won the game, the lions.how about talking about the NFL reversing that crap and giving to the rightful winners before the week is out then fine or fire all involved
where would i place Dan in terms of QBs play wise? right out of the end zone for a safety
He was paid,,,,no doubt about it
The Cowboys are victims of this as well. If 68 is identified as eligible, he’s covered and this is a non issue, giving them a clean victory, which is now tainted.
Except there were two defenders shadowing Decker on the play.
You can see the nickel signal both wr are off the line. If u think defenders rely on officials and not what their eyes tell them at the line u know nothing
Refs need to be fined for bad calls. Like the Seinfeld tip system. Some refs would never get paid.
The thing that’s getting missed this play shouldn’t have even mattered because had they called the tripping on the correct player this doesn’t matter
don't forget that dallas defense wasn't told 68 was eligible so just shut up the refs been screwing dallas all year
Your right coach
This play would have never happened if they would have got the tripping call right. They called it on Dallas and it was the lion player who did it. Therefore it would have been first and 10 and at that point dalles would have ran the ball and took a knee. Stop crying both sides the refs wasn’t fair. And the lions had multiple attempts to score or just kick the field goal to tie lol😂
You would never had been born if…
