The rainbow macaw is the one I want to get but we have a green cheek conure and she's about 2 or 3 years and we are having a bit of trouble with her... But on the bright side she is funny and mimicks laughs and whistles.
Hey guys! I've noticed that Mickey is wearing a tracking GPS device on his leg. I saw in some other videos that ppl fix these devices to their Macaw tail feathers. Did you choose the leg as opposed to a feather because it's more secure (the feather may fall out) even thought it might be less convenient for the bird?
So we use this for new locations, the reason for the leg mount was basically when we got it we had it on his tail but it kept bothering him, as mikey is used to things clipped on his leg ring from his training line, this doesn’t bother him at all
I thought I noticed something on his leg but I wasn't paying it much attention. Lol. Bust I'm curious how the devices send their signals now that you mention it. Like, do you need to have another device nearby or does it work with an app on your phone?

In order to stop your parrot from even trying to bite a little bit. And you won't have to say gentle anymore. So, everytime he "bites" you, even if it is just a little bit. Say ouch very VERY loudly and walk out the room for a few seconds. If you do that everytime he bites you, the progress is going to be in DAYS because he is bonded to you.
We have heard of this theory and it can work very well with birds, but also, birds love a reaction so if they know if they bite you react, they may continue.

A guy in vegas did this in front of a crowd of people in a show. The birds he had were beautiful, one snow white and mixed with powder blue. The birds take off from his arms on both sides at the same time. They flew forward across this auditorium spaced apart, in perfect formation. And with that same orchestrated linearity, the birds turn near the and of the place, and cross over each other in the middle, just like your airshow pilots in planes. Now the birds are flying back to the stage over these people in the audience towards the guy with both arms extended. Again, the birds are in perfect formation. Then, the birds land on the opposite arms of this guy that they took off from. Both at the same time. Never seen anything like it before. Never seen anything like it since.
As soon as he said White cliffs if Dova I was like DONT GO THERE BAADDD IDEA and I was having a mini panic attack because although the peregrine falcons and just a little bigger then macaws, they could, and would, kill a macaw for their chicks.
