This is really great. I just got my 897D and am trying to get it on the air. I can't figure out how to check the SWR and don't want to damage the radio. Might you consider doing more on this radio? The manual doesn't give very good instructions.
The set belongs to the local scout club, and I had it for only 2 days. But I have the original video. I might reprocess it, and put circles round the buttons I was pressing. Maybe in two weeks time though. Thanks for looking.

The radio belongs to the Devonport Scouts, and I am not a Scout. So I no longer have access to it. But thans for asking!
