    Oh how pretty! I think this would make a pretty baby’s blanket changing every three rows between white, pink, and blue. 💕
    So, I think this will wait until my skill level (yard tension) is better! 🤪

      Yes, this is ideal for a baby blanket, hope you will soon feel confident to do it !

    I would love to learn how to do this one! Once I master a square double crochet coaster first, of course 😊

    What an interesting pattern. Does it catch on things easily with the loops being so large?

    • @TuulaMaaria
      @TuulaMaaria  2 года назад +1

      It could catch slightly easier but not really a difference to stitches that have holes.

      @@TuulaMaaria thanks. It's such an unusual stitch. Very beautiful, I've just never seen one quite like it before.

      Patience it’s easier when you apply the same method with a longer hook

    You mentioned hot pads-do you have to make 2 panels and sew them together? Or is this thick enough on its own? Thanks!😊

    • @TuulaMaaria
      @TuulaMaaria  Год назад +2

      That depends on the yarn you are using. If it is chunky, then one will be enough, otherwise would attach two together. (Have to make sure also that the yarn doesn't melt in heat, no acrylic.)

    Pretty pattern. Would you use it to make a shift style jumper for a toddler? Thanks from Australia 🐨🦘

      Not sure what a shift style jumper is. But this stitch can be used for children's clothes if using fairly fine yarn, otherwise it would be too stiff. Hello from Finland 😊

    How to make cup sleeve and coaster using the jasmine stitch?

      I haven't used the jasmine stitch much but check Nordic Yarn Art online, she makes everything in jasmine stitch.
