    I've watched tutorials of this stitch before but failed to understand it. Only you gave such an explanatory tutorial. You're definitely a talented teacher! Thank you so much!

    I started a blanket, with the star stitch, while I was in a hunting blind with my husband. I had to keep the volume down, so everything was quiet in there. I learned everything just by watching you! I’m so happy I was able to follow along without any problems. Thanks Mikey!

    I often watch random how-to stitch videos, and some are great. However, I *always* look to see if you have done one on a particular stitch because I know Mikey will bring the clearest, most cogent instructions and the best video. I am a Crochet Crowd fan for life. ❤❤

    Ok I’ve been crocheting for more than 30 years now but everything I know is self taught with no patience for tutorials. NOW, your tutorial was actually quick and easy and I’ve learnt this without haven’t to watch this for days to get it right or for row by row instructions, and I find myself saying, eye, post, share, and the next one and two. Love it. Just wanted to let you know. ❤

    I’ve tried watching videos on this stitch in the past and have struggled to get it right. I am so pleased with how this is presented. No extra chatter, nice and slow, and straight to the point. Thank you so much. You’ve definitely earned a new follower. I’ve been crocheting for years and for many reasons, this is the best tutorial video I have watched. Thank you and keep a hookin’

    I'm trying to make a sweater with this stitch, so far it's super cute but I kinda feel stiff, I'm trying to keep it as loose as possible but I don't know if it's a thing of this stitch or it's not suitable for sweater. Do you have any tips on this?

    If this is for a sack hat make the hat bigger then you would normally make it! Just finished row 3 and I checked the size and it is now too small so time to frog

  • @SofiaThomas-n2n

    Sir only once we have to chain 1 2 3 why ?? Not clear

    • @wendylcm7643
      @wendylcm7643 5 месяцев назад +1

      We are only chaining 3 at the beginning of the star rows. The next row is only single crochets so we only chain one at the start of those rows.
      Does that help?

    I love doing this stitch, but it doesn’t look as well with any of my Red Heart SuperSaver yarns. Has anyone else found this?

    • @angielewis6582
      @angielewis6582 6 месяцев назад

      I use Red Heart Supersaver. I decrease my tension a bit and when pulling the loops I angle the tip of my hook up to a 45 degree to slightly exaggerate the loop so it lays nicely when I close the star. Hope that helps you.
