What a match between two table tennis's brightest young stars! Sora's rallying ability is very solid making it difficult for Felix to drive through. Interestingly, Felix scored quite a few points on some deep high arc topspin that Sora was not ready for. These two will be facing each other many times bringing some great battles for audiences.
@@creepysmirk1 Considering how dominant Chinese are in TT, it is not racist at all to want to see non-Chinese talent. Heck, I am sure there are people in the China's sports ministry happy to see good young talents in TT outside of China because that would make TT more popular around the world, and therefore good for China.
Before I finish watching, I have to say im interested in seeing such a matchup. Both players have really high potential, and I dont see penholders fight lefties a lot. I'll be satisfied with whoever wins(even though I think Felix is better)
No sportsmanship from Matsushima: 0:52 his serve hits his shirt, yet he blatantly lies that it didn't. Didn't apologize for the lucky edge balls either. Well done Lebrun!
Matsushima needs to work on handling slower spinny loops. He has the footwork but just couldn't handle Felix's slow and spinny backhand loops. Felix got 3 crucial points from his backhand strokes to win the last game and the match. 2 slow and 1 quick counter.
Xu Xin doesn't play internationally anymore so odds are low unless it's in league play. I find that XX moves a lot better while LeBrun plays more like a shakehand player. I do like the creativity from Felix's serves, the reverse side (red) fast serve seems to catch a lot of players off-guard
@raph3170 haha thank you! I just found out too 😆 kinda just newly returning to watch ping-pong, and thought I remembered his name wrong. They are talented and hard-training brothers!
Commentators gossiping like a pair of grandmothers while a great game is unfolding. Almost no commentary on the shots being played, strategy etc, etc, very poor.
@@Richard-GirGermany and Netherlands is next to France and people mixed up and migrated since centuries, so why not? Russia on the other hand is far away and players from there will most likely directly migrate to Germany instead.
@@Richard-Gir You must be joking. But a few decades before Jesus, in France, there were the ruthenes who were red-haired people (like the schytes, who must be their ancestors). Felix finds back his backside in the end of the match plus incredible two rebounds returns on Sora's serve. Master !
What a match. So exciting to have future non-Chinese talent battling
racist
This is a boring game
@@jamesc3622 Indeed. MATSUSHIMA was keeping making the same mistake, no effective adjustments. No ups and downs. Pretty boring.

@@unwishfulthink Its racist, you bigot.
Felix's backhand is very spinny and powerful.
best commentators in ping-pong
Its not a ping-pong
😂😂😂😂
One of the most nerve-wracking matches of the tournament so far.
present and future of TT
Glad to see Felix won the battle, I think he will be the lead when the next match they meet

Lebrun brothers and matsushima family is the future of tt

Absolutely.
When replay at 0.25 speed it is clear the ball hit Sora's shirt first before landing on the table. 0:54
thanks Felix Lebrown
Not easy mentaly speaking to face one of your best friend you became world champion with a few years ago...
Matsushima seemed to be in low spirits the whole match

MATSUSHIMA can not handle Felix' top spins, that's the main reason for his loss. Crystal clear fact.
Bravo Felix
Futur number 1!!
Where are the CAPTIONS ?

is adam bobrow commentating?
sounds like it
has Felix played Xu xin? I would like to see that.
If he gets invited to the CSL he will probably play xu xin.

Tryna figure out who was screaming in Chinese. dude it was the last guy I considered

Could the commentators focus a bit more on the game?...
You won't get game focus with Adam Bobrow as commentator... as much as I like his channel, his tournament casting isn't my cup of tea.
I thought his name was Alexis LeBrun?
Just googled it XD they are brothers
Or that's a different player 😅?
Alexis is actually his older brother :D
@raph3170 haha thank you! I just found out too 😆 kinda just newly returning to watch ping-pong, and thought I remembered his name wrong. They are talented and hard-training brothers!
He is Felix, ranked 6 and his brother Alexis, ranked ~20 but has been injured…
Pls fix the angle and more highlights like bring back the ittf system

Adam can be carried away sometimes. But as he gets back on track he gives the best insights as to what’s going on at the table.
I really like this commentary ❗
Sora looks tired
those commentators are trash, we learn nothing about the technic the players use... Invite a pro player please next time
