      if you go with your local installer you can potentially avoid overpaying but most peoples systems are costing 100grand when they should only cost 30k you get 30% tax rebate this means out of the tax you own this credit will result in a payment towards it and doesn't always work out like explained. the price you were sold at determines the srec typically it's about 30% addtional funds. the fact that the federal doesn't work like people think is the main issue along with hidden interest rates of 30% called dealer fees and $10k commissions.@@TheSebastian99999999

      @@TheSebastian99999999 tax credit =30%
      Srec=aprox 20%
      Tax credit is just what it sounds like though.
      Only way to get anymore than this is if your a rural farmer or business owner and you can get the reap grant as well which is now another 50%
      Some homeowners get 20-50% businesses get 20-100% if they are in rural areas that are eligable for reap grant

      @@SmarterhometechnologyI work for blue raven, most of my clients are paying between 15-22k for the whole thing. You get a 30% Tax credit, a 18-22% SREC credit in Illinois. And a HUGE resale value that inevitably pays itself when you sell the house.
