    My family spent a wonderful couple of years with Rick and Judy and the kids when he came to Ottawa. My family has followed his career ever since . Our kids are still connected , and although this is a sad moment, I'm happy for him and congratulate him on his decision ❤

    Not too many NHL coaches have a 41 year career. No doubt he has been a positive influence to all the players he has coached during his career. Best to him and his family for his contribution to the game that he loved.

    Mr. Bowness, you’re a good man, you treated everyone respectfully and well. You will be missed. Next year’s deep Stanley Cup run will be due in large part to the foundation you laid down. I wish you all the best going forward.

    In lieu of getting fired ? He had a decent run over the years. He is back peddling from his comments after the game. He put it on the players after the game which wasnt right.

      @@BM_2002 Yeah right trading a 1st 2nd and 3rd round pick for nothing on rental players and the roster never being even close to good enough says otherwise.

      @DanRaidersWarriorsSharksGiants Mony will be back, and it's gonna be a weak draft anyway. We'll be back.

    • @DanRaidersWarriorsSharksGiants
      @DanRaidersWarriorsSharksGiants Месяц назад

      @@BM_2002 Trading high draft picks for rental players is generally always foolish. Saying it is a weak draft just is silly since there will be a half a point a game NHL player available when the Jets would pick in the 1st. It is not like it hurts the jets to draft a player like that.
      Plus a GM can trade for rental player insurance in case they lose in the playoffs and no playoff teams really do that.
      You really have no idea what you are talking about.
