WOW!! They all were sooo cute, talented, and harmonized so beautifully. I have been on a Five Stairsteps binge for the past few days now. I saw them as a kid at New York's Apollo Theater with my parents and 2 sisters. I was so astonished at seeing school aged children who looked like me performing on stage. They were great and so professional. I remember their parents came out and sang and then they introduced little Cubie to the audience. I distinctly remember them singing World of Fantasy and Something's Missing. What a BLESSED family they were.RIP Cubie, Clarence Jr,. Clarence Sr., and James. What a loss!!😢
I remember Jackie Jackson from The Jackson 5 once said that The Five Stairsteps vocals and harmony were so crisp and clean i remember him saying that his father Joe Jackson would have them listening to The Five Stairsteps records to study their harmony and vocals.
Just amazing with grace and harmony and style I'm 75yrs young female I have all their 45s records and albums I still play them till this day. I love all their songs ( Would Of Fantasy, Behind Curtains and so many more great songs by them just class act all the way round so glad I'm still here to enjoy their music.
