    I’ve been curious since I started watching your videos; what does using the shoe to burn the bottom of the hoof do? I see all different farriers do it in their videos. Great work btw! It looks beautiful!

    • @quadrewplex6782

      Essentially, it creates an impression of the horseshoe in the hoof, causing it to fit better when it's actually applied

      It’s like tying your shoe so it stays on … but for horses it bonds onto its foot so it fits perfectly

    Nice work, but i would prefer longer shoe arms for better support on huge dressage horses. We use Toe clip even on the hind hoofs. 2 weeks and it Will be too short. We clean The collateral Groves. Thank You

    Out of curiosity, what does restoring the hoof do and does it hurt?

    • @sebaas2543
      @sebaas2543 Год назад +9

      It's like getting you nails done, and it doesn't hurt the horse

    • @proveit2203
      @proveit2203 Год назад +10

      if it hurt the horse the restorer would get a facefoul of horse hoof and probably die

    • @someoneawesome8717
      @someoneawesome8717 Год назад +7

      It's basically like getting a pedicure for the horse because their hooves actually grow like human nails, but unlike humans, they cannot trim their own so they need someone to help do it for them

    why are you restoring hooves

    • @seanoning
      @seanoning Год назад +6

      for the health of the horse :) their hooves are like one big nail, and domesticated horses don't wear down their hooves naturally like wild horses do. so imagine trying to walk comfortably if your whole foot was a huge overgrown dirt-crusted toenail in desperate need of a pedicure lol

    Sure maybe u cleaned the dirt off..that’s great but drilling a metal screw in his foot, putting a heavy metal U shaped metal piece in his foot, branding his foot with the metal piece, hammering his foot, scraping his foot…horrible the poor horse should be free

    • @IgorMgtowandVideoGames
      @IgorMgtowandVideoGames Год назад +3

      you dont understand. this is neccesary. the horses hoove is like one big nail and it has to be repaired time to time. this procedure helps the horses walk more comfortably and the horses probably dont feel any pain. otherwise they would have attacked the owner of the horse.
