It always amazes me when outsiders tell us what we believe and why it is wrong when they have no understanding of what we believe or why we believe it.
As a long-ago convert into Catholicism I have spent much of my adult life trying to find straight answers to simple questions on what Catholics believe (such as, were Adam and Eve literally the first two people? What other stories in the Old Testament are only metaphors rather than literal history?). I often have found this unduly difficult to do.
I have my own experience with a Pentecostal lady who was baptized Catholic and down the road. She met and married a guy who is a Pentecostal. He does live not with her. He lives with the preacher off their church. She told me she know, hundreds of Catholics, who quit the church, a friend of hers is among and he quit and is a Christian now she told me all the lies to Catholic Church is spreading. She told me she’s reading in the Bible all day and I told her she don’t even has the full picture because she don’t has the whole Bible. There are many books missing out of the Old Testament. She does not want to hear that. I told her she gave up the most beautiful thing in the world receiving Jesus in the Eucharist for what she’s got now for something man-made.. she never answered all of my commentaries, and I got so tired of all of that I could contact with her. I tried to be patient with her, but I just could not deal with it anymore.
There are times when we need to entrust people to the Lord to open their hearts to the truth and wait for a time to say something when they are more receptive.
They have been told many times the truth, but they will just not listen!!! John 8 : 39 - End. They behave like those Jewish people that just do not hear Jesus. They only hear the lies AND then repeat, repeat, repeat, repeat. We are the sheep that hear and obey the Lord. 2,000 years of obedience vs. 500 years of disobedience. However, I pray for there conversion every single day!!!!
Your father is the father of lies. Come out of her and be not partakers of her plagues ! Works ( good deeds ) will not save you .Marvel not that you should be born again .
I have worshipped within both the Anglo Catholic and Independent Evangelical traditions. I take the view that the Independent Evangelical position that the bread and the wine are purely memorial and symbolic is error borne of anti catholic sentiment.
Excellent superb explanation to the gist of the truth about the Holy Sacrifice which is The BODY AND BLOOD OF JESUS CHRIST RISEN AND INCORPORATED THROUGH HIS ALL POWERFUL NATURE AS BEING THE SON OF GOD WHO HAS NO LIMITATIONS TO HIS POWER AND TRUTH AND THATS NO LIE AMEN AMEN AMEN 🙏 🐑🕊️✨🔥
As a non denominational protestant i can see the spiritual occurence of the bread and wine becoming the body and blood of Christ. A greater question is why to we(some protestants) short change the power, the spirit, and truth of God. Let the Holy spirit to lead all to the truth and purity of serving the Lord
John 6, the Lord’s supper narratives and I Cor 11 make a strong case for the real body and blood all of which is possible because of the promised Holy Spirit who is called on in the mass to make the transubstantiation.
I kindly refer you to the in depth works of Brant Pitre and the roots of Catholicism, especially for your starting point, one of his book in the series called "The Jewish Roots of the Eucharist".
I’m not surprised at all of how none Christians who are protesters deny that there is no scriptural evidence of the Holy Sacrifice of the Mass, for the Old Testament priesthood was taught the Holy sacrifice of the Mass in their day’s for all of the sacrifices that they were offering were leading up to and revealing the Holy Sacrifice Of what Jesus Christ did with his body on Golgotha and that’s what Jesus himself did when he celebrated the Passover Sacrificial Meal before he fulfilled and completed the institution of his body and blood which is the Eucharist which is the Sacrifice of his body and blood truly and fully for our God and Lord is the Divine Son of God who became flesh and since he is God he has no limitations to his power for what Jesus Christ says he DOES AND JESUS CHRIST DOES WHAT HE SAYS IN ALL INFINITE AND ETERNAL POWER OF BEING THE SON OF GOD AMEN ALLEL DEO GRATIS YEAH 🙏🐑🕊️✨🔥
You accepted the Eucharist as a child? Did not Jesus say "“Truly, I say to you, unless you turn and become like children, you will never enter the kingdom of heaven."
Indeed as adults He says we must become like children trusting His word and living in that relationship where we say Abba Father. We too need a child like faith to believe in the real Presence of Christ in the Eucharist.
Transubstantiation is FALSE!! This ☝️false doctrine, is easily and instantly disproven when placed under a literal microscope 🔬!!! Also refuted with scripture, as God prohibits the consumption of literal blood 🩸 or human flesh! The wine 🍷 and the bread 🥖 is absolutely SYMBOLIC!
Revelation 5:6 “Worthy are You to take the book and to break its seals; for You were slain, and purchased for God with Your blood men from every tribe and tongue and people and nation. You have made them to be a kingdom and priests to our God; and they will reign upon the earth" We are a kingdom of priests on earth….if you don’t know what a priest does then you must read the Old Testament . All Catholics are priests, just as the people of Israel were a kingdom of priests before the golden calf. Jesus has restored the general priesthood of men and that’s why the Catholic Church is a kingdom of priests on earth and that’s why the Catholic Church practices the ever lasting Tamid, the command given by God.
The teaching of the Apostle Paul and the church is our participation in His sacrifice in the mass. Protestants have rejected this along with other doctrines in their anti-Catholicism.
You erroneously presume that His once, for all, and everlasting sacrifice, which is proudly pronounced, defended, and revered innumerable times in the Cathecism of the Catholic Church, is inconsistent with Christ's command to: "Do this in remembrance of me." "This" is the eating of his body. And he is saying do "this"--that is, eat his body--repeatedly in remembrance of Him and his once for all sacrifice. I love my Protestant brothers and sisters, but please stop relying on other Protestants, particularly the anti-Catholic ones, of whom there are several who are noteworthy for their lack of basic knowledge of Catholicism, to learn what Catholics actually believe. Read the Cathecism of the Catholic Church please. You can read it for free online at the United States Conference of Catholic Bishop's website. Protestants relying on other Protestants to tell them what the Catholic Church actually teaches is like someone relying on MSNBC to learn about Donald Trump.
Incorrect . Paul says to offer your bodies as a sacrifice. It's important to do that as it's a temple of the holy ghost and we must keep ourselves pure as he is pure. Christ said to deny yourselves, pick up your cross daily , that's a perpetual sacrifice, as long as you live. He also said if you find your life you'll lose it but if you lose this life for him you'll have it in the hereafter. Again, that's a lifelong sacrifice St Peter and Paul and James all talk it's imperative to suffer for Christ in order to reign with him , so suffering for Christ is meritorious. It's not enough to do some works as evidence of faith but it's necessary to be saved. In the OT Micah 1:11 from the rising of the sun to its setting the gentiles will offer a clean oblation, what is their sacrifice? The Eucharist. That's why in revelation, John sees Jesus as a bloodied lamb, the saxrifice christ continually offers himself to tge father in heaven on our behalf.
Re: the trinity, the baptism of jesus in the river Jordan, and a dove descended upon jesus and the father declared this is my beloved ❤️ son in whom I am well pleased. That's 3.

This is eternal life:
One bread, one body, one worship of the One True God. We already have it! Let’s fight to keep it and help others have it.

Q: isnt the transubstantiation seen with spiritual eyes and not merely with physical eyes?
Indeed a reality received by faith based on the words of Christ.

1:57 a perpetual sacrifice ? Christ died once for all sins there is no continuous perpetual sacrifice!

No one agreed with your theology until the 16th century. It is a man-made tradition.
Do u believe the last supper is connected to the cross ?
