Wow God is good. I become catholic 4 years ago from athiesm I love hearing all the testimonies from different backgrounds. Jesus and Mother Mary are rounding us all up like lost sheep to save us. 🐑🐑😇😇
As a ex evangelical and ex inquirer into EO and now a Catholic I wholeheartedly understand the hard and gruesome road of understanding truth as someone who loves God and seeks Him in the deepest sense. It’s a hard and tough rough but testimony’s like yours and mine is what helps others who are on this road to make that journey easier and short to come to know the fullness of the faith.
There’s a saying I think by either St. John Bosco or Fulton J Sheen that weak Catholics become Protestants but the strongest and most excellent of Protestants seeking Jesus become Catholics.
new convert here - enjoying your testimony. Welcome home. May you and your family enter the church in peace and joy. Please always pray to Our Blessed Mother that she will guide you and keep you close to her in your journey, as you enter the faith.
Wow I’m also the same about feeling called to Catholicism, but my husband being Protestant, and I just can’t join because it feels wrong for our relationship specifically. So I go to Mass, adoration and am basically a closet catholic.
Praying for you! My husband has expressed that me not trying to go do my own thing without him and being patient with him was very helpful in helping him to be able to work through Catholicism on his own. I pray your patience can have the same effect on your spouse. 😌
@@MomJeansReads You should not delay in enrolling in the RCIA so you can receive Jesus in the Eucharist sooner and eat with me as well as my other brothers and sisters across the world at the sacrificial table of the altar. Jesus tells us he will be a cause for division even among spouses, family members, and friends for those who follow him. Don’t be aggressive with your husband but still continue to obey the Holy Spirit leading you into the Catholic Church. There are many encouraging testimonies from the saints and even Saint Paul in the Scriptures where one spouse was a Catholic believer and the other was not either Paul telling the believing spouse to win over the other by their gentleness and deep witness to the Catholic Faith. Saint Monica for example is one such saint whose husband was a Roman pagan and atheist who at the end of his life before death was baptized because of her witness as a Catholic and their son, Saint Augustine of Hippo.
Im in RCIA this year. Im a cradle Catholic that went astray in my late teens. Was encountered by God at 29 and went Protestant. Did calvanism for first 5 years and charismatic until this year in March when I was led back you the Catholic Church . I’m 43 and married with 3 kids . My wife who’s still pondering all this change accepted getting our marriage convalidated ( happened in sep 2024) but is still not sure about all this change for her. I’m praying she gets a revelation and that I’m able to bring my 3 kids into the church too. So far it’s only me to be confirmed this coming Easter 2025.
I will be praying for your wife! I know how difficult it is to have a spouse that isn’t on board and it’s honestly the hardest trial I’ve ever been through in my life! Blessings to you as you seek to follow God! 😌
I don’t know the dynamics with your marriage but you are the shepherd of the family’s souls as head of the family to do what’s spiritually best. I just get the impression that one thing you could do in your case is keep going forward and try to get your children and wife into Catholic Mass with you like my mother and father did with me. Only the Holy Spirit leads us into the Catholic Church not by force but by his gentle burning love and in the same way perhaps your wife may be more receptive if she sees how important this is to you and the family.
This was brilliant. Thanks so much for sharing! I'm a revert. But it took me far longer to find my way home than you. I reverted nearly 2 years ago and I'm 59. But praise God that I made it home at all ! 🎉😊
@@EmbracingTradition100as a Protestant I am praying this is the last church jump. And to plant your roots somewhere, and not continue to jump ship every-time you change your mind on theological matters. If you do, you’ll be changing churches until the day you die, and miss out on the blessing of genuine fellowship. Although this is a horrible time to become Roman Catholic, I am praying your faith in Christ is strengthened and grows
Amen ma'am.... It's testimonials like this...that make me feel blessed to be a cradle catholic.. and that i should strive more to be a model on what it means to be catholic ❤
You are exactly correct! We cradle Catholics need to get it together and lead the way as Jesus and Mary bring our brothers and sisters home, they NEED us to help them!
@@jim7576 Yes and for those who are Catholics but stopped practicing for whatever reasons or never went further beyond Confirmation in their life with things that have happened.
My coworker was a protestant through and through. He was always telling me that he respected me for my "intelligence", but that he couldn't understand why I am Catholic, since that "it's just paganism bro". One day he called me and said that he was studying with his wife about Church history when "all fell in place" and, maybe, JUST MAYBE, "the paganist popeist might be right". Fast forward two months, he is receiving his Eucharist and becoming catholic along with his wife. We need more stories like yours, ma'am
heart breaking really. it's what happens when people don't start with basics and follow loose theories. catholicism isn't Christianity, friend -- see John 14:15
As a cradle Catholic in my early childhood I absolutely knew when we were at mass that God was there. Now in my later years I have spoken to my sisters about this, both of them have told me the same thing. I attended protestant churches with friends growing up but I knew they didn't have what I had as a Catholic. You and your family, welcome home!
Thank you for sharing your story, I was crying at the end. It was beautiful and very inspiring. I wish many people realize this truth. I am a cradle Catholic but at some point, I took it for granted but I am thankful that I remained a Catholic and I’m very proud of our traditions and gifts that this true church is providing for us. So many of my family members have been deceived by Protestants and I pray for their own discernment to the truth.
Now that you've reached the fullness of the truth beware, because stronger attacs are coming from all sides, even from people who mistakenly call themselves Catholics, as you can already see in this comebox. May our Blessed Mother protect you and take you to Her divine Son
@@EmbracingTradition100 Yes watch out for false teachers and liars like the schismatic archbishop Vigano and former bishop Strickland found guilty of such crimes against the unity and Truth of the Catholic Church urging people to be Protestant rejecting and denying the Papacy because of Pope Francis and follow them instead, Taylor Marshall, sedevacantism (lying about the papacy and Catholic Church ending after Pius the X and Jesus falsely bearing witness against the promise of Jesus to not let Hell prevail against his Catholic Church), the “Rad trad crowd” (Latin Mass is more holy and effective than Novus Ordo as well as reject the infallible authority of the Magisterium and Vatican 2), the politicizing of the Catholic Faith making politics their foundation describing you and me as “liberal” for accepting Vatican 2 when it’s just the infallible teachings of the Catholic Church, etc.
Beautiful and True! God is Great! Jesus Christ and Our Lady have brought you so very far! The Eucharist IS everything for me! I must receive Christ at the very least every Sunday. Daily when ever I can. NOTHING and NO BODY will ever stand in the way of me receiving Christ in the Eucharist. When you receive for the first time on Holy Saturday, you will feel so complete, you will have Christ phisically within you and He will be with you always!
Thank you for such a wonderful and encouraging comment! I love hearing from those who are Catholic and partaking and how it has changed them! ❤️ I can’t wait!
@@EmbracingTradition100 I have a few testimonials. One being that I prayed the Rosary for the first time last year at age 27. Over time, The Rosary helped me fight and get over my porn and masturbation addiction ever since I stumbled upon it as a teenager 16 years ago. It felt so calming to go to Confession this year and receive absolution from the mortal sins after not going to Confession for 12 years because of both being slothful and lazy procrastinating spiritually and also not wanting to abuse God’s grace just to go right back to doing the addiction immediately afterwards the same day. I cried so much before hand from the guilt as Jesus wants to take away the pain and sorrows of Hell hence when he heals those he tells “Go in peace (be free). Your faith has saved you.”
Got a huge limp in my throat. God certainly answers prayers. We pray and pray and pray and lots of the time start doubting when prayers are not answered. This is testament that God does answer prayers according to HIS will because many of us have been praying daily for conversions and these testimonies confirmed it.
I am a cradle Catholic and I haven't been that faithful since I got older. Let's just say I was kind of a lost sheep. I watched and read lots anti-Catholic in pretty much everywhere and still is, until for the past few years I watched many testimonials of people who converted to Catholicism on RUclips. I was like, speechless and amazed. Humbled by what they did and said. All I can say is thank you for the testimonial. It does give me strength and will to keep staying in the path. It means a lot for people like me. Thanks and God bless you, sis!
Thank you so much for this heartfelt comment! Stay the course! Jesus loves you and I pray that He and all the Saints will give you strength and courage! 😊

Beautiful testimony, thank you so much for sharing! 🙏❤ I came into the Church almost 2 years ago after a lifetime as a more or less hard-line Reformed/Presbyterian Protestant. I resonate so much with your story. I am beyond grateful every single day that the Lord brought me home to the Church 🙏✝️
This is a beautiful story of grace and illumination and I’m subscribing for more of your content. For Protestants who may see this video, The Blessed Eucharist, a sacrifice which Jesus made in time, and yet, before the foundation of the world. It remains in perpetuity for us to offer the Father and is the source and summit of the faith and right worship. Peace to all of good will.
Wow... welcome to God's true Church, the Catholic church. Sometimes when you come to a Catholic church, some members will not be very welcoming, coming from your protestant background however know that the Catholic church is the HOUSE of God , not the priest or the members. Jesus as you see is on the cross as always to show HIS love for humanity, Jesus went to the cross because of HIS LOVE. No greater Love as JESUS said for a man to put His life on the cross for HIs love ones. Jesus is always waiting for you to come in and accompany HIM in HIS HOUSE., the Catholic church. So when you go to a Catholic church and no one seems to welcome or look at you, don't worry Jesus is looking at you and thankful that you came in to participate in the MASS that HE offered to GOD the Father for humanity. One thing more, so many luke warm Catholics are always late and leave church just after receiving Christ in the Eucharist, it is because they do not understand the mass. Every part of the MASS has grace into it like the beginning of the mass when the priest tells the members to recall their venial sins that they committed that week followed by asking God's mercy. Catholics take it for granted being late and miss it when it is crucial to receive Jesus in communion. Sorry for the long narrative. I am just forewarning you of how luke warm Catholics seem to be, insulting our Lord of their behaviors in HIS HOUSE..sorry but I do commit those mistakes too from time to time. As a born Catholic and church goer all my life except for a 3 year period when I got mad at God because of my brokenness, it is only when I was in my 50's that I understood what the MASS is all about and why saints love it very much.
Thank you so much for such an encouraging and heart warming comment! It means so much! Thankfully we have found a very very welcoming and loving Catholic parish with a wonderful priest! We have been truly blessed! ❤️
@@Sanee-n1l Yes. The Mass is part of the Love of the New Covenant where we offer ourselves and personhood to God and God to us. The thought just occurred to me last night that the Mass is a little glimpse of what Heaven looks like on Earth. God doesn’t glorify himself and demand we bow down and worship him rather we glorify God and give Him his due respect and praise and sing hymns with the angels of God’s mercy that the saints sought and received thanking and praising God forever. It’s not what we get out of Mass but thank you Jesus for allowing me to come to the table of sinners with my brethren and eat with you while receiving you.
@@genemyersmyers6710 As Jesus tells us in the parable of the vineyard workers, even those who Jesus came to and hired for work late (like yourself) before their death and close of the age still received the same reward as those who labored earlier all their lives as cradle Catholics. Rather we are to be there for them and thank God they came back and in one piece.
The proper name is the Catholic Church with all its different rites not just the RCC. The Latin rite also known as the Roman rite is one of the 23 rites (eastern and western) making up the Catholic Church. All are in communion with the Pope.
Not that I know much, but the early church was known as the One, Holy, Catholic, and Apostolic church, which consisted of five patriarchates: Rome (1st among equals), Constantinople, Alexandria, Antioch (established by Peter), and Jerusalem. The Western and Eastern church. These are the one church, one body of Christ. These were establish by the Apostles. So, to day that the RCC is the only one and true church is to be historically ignorant. Furthermore, the RCC admits the EOC to have valid sacraments. God bless!
As a lifelong Catholic, I wish you well and your family, you are now being led by the Trinity to where you have always been meant to be, Welcome home and may the Father ,Son and Holy Spirit give you all the blessings of heaven in your onward path to and with them, Remember GOD so loved the world (and you and your family) that he gave his only begotten Son that those that believe in HIM shall never die but have eternal life, The Trinity has so much LOVE for you it is simply unquantifiable, GOD bless you and yours.
I just Love it when Evangelicals say " You follow the " traditions of men!" Were ALL traditions of men?? The Passover? Observing the Sabbath Circumcision The Bible is FULL OF Traditions, Especially the OT! The Law Of Moses, For example The 10 Commandments? ( Many Evangelicals think they're too good to follow God's laws, here) Speaking of the " traditions of men" These SAME Men, as you call them, Were filled with the Holy Spirit! They were the Apostles Of Jesus!
Sacramentum(Sacrament) is a Latin word for the Greek words Mysterion(Mystery), Baptisma(Baptism), Koinonia(fellowship or communion), Eucharistia(thanksgiving or gratitude) and it had a military definition before being used in the Latin Vulgate of "oath" or "charge". As Christians it has developed into things done to force the will of God to convey grace upon us by our actions. The scriptures only provide us commands and ordinances to take part in sacraments is akin to ritual magic, this is one of the first accretions.
conversions to what, friend? i actually left catholicism because the Bible clearly shows that it's not Jesus' church. i was catholic 35 yrs, but now love teaching and sharing Bible Truth to all who will hear!
Thank you so much and welcome sister. I have noticed exactly what you mean with your point at 10:18, the definition change of the words. I noticed this a lot while trying to argue with Protestants on the (VERY Catholic) Church Fathers. I am so glad for you that you found the peace of Christ.
It can be very disheartening when trying to discuss these things with Protestants because you have to figure out what definition each individual is working with. 😅 Thank you so much for your kind words! 😊
@@EmbracingTradition100I think RUclips deleted my comment as I posted it, it was pretty long 😩 in short, I cried with you when you talked about your resignation. You're in my intentions booklet, praying for your Confirmation! God bless
Beautiful testimony. Jesus established one church. Read Acts of the Apostles. That’s Biblical and historical fact. Catholicism is 100% Jesus centered. One of my favorite Bible passages is 1Tim3:14-15 I hope to come to you soon, but I am writing these instructions to you so that, 15 if I am delayed, you may know how one ought to behave in the household of God, which is the church of the living God, the pillar and bulwark of the truth. When I was protestant I didn’t know how one ought to behave in the household of God, the church of the living God.
Praise the Lord Jesus Christ! Welcome to the Catholic Church! I pray more people come to the same epiphany as you have. The Holy Eucharist is the holiest sacrament in the faith where we receive the transubstantiated body and blood of Christ. "Truly, truly, I say to you, unless you eat the flesh of the Son of man and drink his blood, you have no life in you; he who eats my flesh and drinks my blood has eternal life, and I will raise him up at the last day." {John 6:53-54) "He who eats my flesh and drinks my blood abides in me, and I in him. As the living Father sent me, and I live because of the Father, so he who eats me will live because of me." {John 6:56-57) The Catholic Church was established by Jesus himself when he anointed Peter as leader of his apostles. Catholicism is the most profound religion and the original manuscripts from which the Bible was taken are all preserved in the Vatican archives.
You mentioned the Protestant idea that the early church was corrupted after about a few centuries. Jesus started the early Church. Martin Luther started the Lutheran Church in the 1500’s. It has lasted five hundred years. So, this would mean that the church started by Jesus was not as good as the church started by Luther and that Luther was a better organizer than Jesus! By the way, you are very inspiring!
I greatly appreciate your video as a cradle catholic. I don't understand the issues that non catholics go through to try to get home to the church. It sounds like you suffered from scrupulosity.
It's crucial you embark on a spiritual journey and deepen your relationship to Christ. There's a book called 'The Fulfillment of all desire' by 'Ralph Martin'. I highly recommend it in charting out a pathway to reading, praying and growing towards sanctification. I could recommend others if you wish to know more, just reply and ask. Bless you and welcome home.
@@EmbracingTradition100 There's a ton of resources out there honestly, it can be a maze to navigate. There is a book I came across a year back that recommends other books for you to read, as opposed to you buying them all up and discovering whether they are for you or not (yet). It's called '100 Books to read before the four last things' by 'Marie I. George' It covers a wide array of spiritual reading on different topics that should guide you pretty well. After listening to your video (I'm halfway through), it's clear your heart is drawn towards Christ in the Eucharist. So, in that spirit I should recommend you a small book called 'How to get more from Holy Communion' by 'St Peter Julian Eymard' Also there's 2 books by TAN publishing that you'd like not covered by the 1st book i mentioned. Manual for Eucharistic Adoration A Year with the Eucharist You mentioned your husband was going to be a pastor. If he's interested in a much more theological understanding, then there's a great book called 'The Eucharist' by 'Lawrence Feingold' Its a gold mine of Eucharistic understanding across the entire history of the Church.
I experienced shock, horror, anger and grief once I realised the RCC was right all along. shock because I was intellectually lazy and never checked out what the RCC actually is and teaches, instead relying on what I was fed as a protestant child. horror and anger to realise the magnitude of the lies perpetrated by people like Luther and Calvin, altering Holy scripture according to their own beliefs, a power the pope doesnt even remotely wield. grief for the hundreds of thousands of sincere protestants who believe in Christ as our Saviour but have been lied to by malicious heretics and have lived and died never experiencing the fullness of the faith, but instead had to deal with the nonsensical, combative and ignorant protestant culture.
I think that the nonsense comes from the validation of individual interpretation of Sacred Scripture. I heard on a video of a Protestant Church that taught that, because the Bible says to "Baptize in the name of the Father, Son and Holy Spirit" and that Saint Peter baptized in the name of Jesus, that Jesus was the same as the Father and Holy Spirit. If a Catholic ever said that, everyone around him or her would immediately be shocked and correct him or her.
@@RitaGatton yes, a lot of protestants claim to know the bible, that they read it a lot, problem is, they fundamentally do not understand the texts they read over and over. a good example is that they think veneration of the Blessed Virgin is unbiblical, and that her being immaculata is nonsense. This shows they cherrypick being literal ( generations will call me blessed) and that they don't think basic theology through ( original sin, Jesus being also fully man, so Mary couldn't have been born with original sin, lest Christ would have it too). They think that deducing scripture means adding to it. And the most hilarious complaint is the RCC being "manmade religion", whereas it are the protestants who lack the Eucharist and worship and spend the majority of sunday worshiplistening to the interpretation of a minister with dubious authority at best. If that isn't manmade I do not know what is.
@@lebell79 I know what you mean. Even though I am a cradle Catholic, my parents never taught me the faith except getting me to Church and Confirming me. The priests taught me over the years at Catholic school and University. For laziness, the sin of sloth was being lazy with taking my relationship with God seriously and actually praying outside of Church and reading more about the Faith including spending time with the Holy Spirit in Scriptures (Lectio Divinia) . For horror it was idolizing my intellect, understanding of Scriptures, and knowledge of the Catholic faith making it all about myself than the Holy Spirit who gave me such gifts in the first place. Thus I committed the sin of vanity as Lucifer did in the beginning and have been working on keeping this pride away. For anger we are the same because i even explain the Truth of the Catholic Faith to Protestants online in places like here and in person losing my patience with them asking how they can’t see and open their minds to the logical reasoning and theological arguments of Protestantism falling short. Ultimately it’s the Holy Spirit that leads us to the Catholic Church and we can’t force others to convert as I learned.
I was married to a Catholic for 18 years. I have been to many masses and thought that Catholicism was just another version of Christianity so we were married in the RCC. Then I started to STUDY scriptures and what the RCC stated. I will NEVER attend another Mass. Much of what the RCC states is not scriptual but man-made. I do not hate Catholics but will speak out against the RCC and its deception. As for my wife of 18 years... narcissism and husband beating come to mind along with protection orders against her. I am not saying her Catholic upbringing is the problem. Her upbringing in a violent very dysfunctional family does. I am remarried to a wonderful Christian Lady for 30 years. My suggestion to anyone is put religions on the back burner and study scriptures apart from religions. That will lead you to Jesus.
I’m very sorry for your horrible experience. Unfortunately, thinking that you can come to scripture without the backdrop of religion is not real. No one comes to the scripture neutral. We all come with the underlying interpretations we’ve been given. Whether it be from religious upbringing or from our culture. I trust that the two Christian traditions that are still going after 2k years, EO and Catholicism, know a lot more and have a better understanding of what the Bible is saying and what the church should be teaching. The Bible says that the church is the pillar and foundation of the truth. I wish you well and pray that God will show you the truth. Have a blessed day. 😊
@@EmbracingTradition100 The Bible also states that the church is the believers in Christ. Matthew 16:18. The word 'church' is written over 115 times in the NT and Never refers to any religious organization such as the RCC. I will agree that if a person only reads the Bible they can come aways from it with their own interpretation. That is why I study the Language it was written in, the times it was written, the culture and customs, to who it was written and why. I then will look at scriptures as a whole not a passage on its own Religions, especially the RCC rely upon man's traditions as equal to God's word and scriptures states just the opposite. Further there is no mention in scriptures of the RCC which states Jesus started it. This is a lie at worst and a deception at best. As an example where do we first see Jesus in the Bible?
@@stever4181 I’m not trying to be disrespectful in any way, but the tradition you seem to have such a disdain for, is the only way you have a canon to read in the first place. The church was visible in Paul’s time and it is visible now. You’re creating a dichotomy that isn’t real. The church is a body not a spirit. Bodies are visible. Paul commends his readers to believe oral and written tradition and the early church fathers clearly did not believe in a non visible church. It had structure and even in its infancy it had the sacraments.
@@EmbracingTradition100 Tell me how do I have a Bible to read today? Was it by man or by God? Catholics seem to think it was by man, the RCC. I believe it was by God. If you pray for healing for someone and that person is healed was it you or God that did the healing? The same is true of how the Bible was compiled. Was it man or God for if it is man then God is removed from it and is a false book. If it was God then the credit is given to God not the RCC. Can you see the difference. Yet all I ever hear from Catholics is the RCC (man) developed the Bible. When did I say that the 'church' was a spirit. I said it is those who believe in Jesus as Messiah the Son of God that is his church. Matt 16:16 Those traditions that Paul talkes about where later written down and are the same as what he said. They are not something other than what he and other writers wrote. The RCC has added to what was written and in some cases removed or changed what was written. Disdain: I am also no fan of JWs, Mormons, Prosperity, New Age, or Scientology religions either. They do not represent the true meaning of Scriptures. Yet Catholics will place them in the same boat as Christian Churches that follow the Bible. If disdain means a dislike for those who falsify God's word then I am guilty. Did not Jesus do the same thing with the Pharisees!
@ You seem to be contradicting yourself in the first paragraph. The Catholic Church teaches exactly what you referenced in regard to prayer. It is both man and God. The Bible didn’t fall from the sky. It was codified by the church councils. How do you know which books are scripture? The only plausible answer to that question is that the tradition of the church gave it to us. When you refer to the church as “believers” you have reduced the meaning of church down to a spiritual reality and not a physical one. It’s the Protestant doctrine of the invisible church without a visible institution. Paul exhorts his listeners to believe in oral tradition. You seem to be trying to make the case that everything Paul believed and taught is written. That’s just not true.
@The-Good-Life Ah yes, but are we talking about New Testament traditions, as at the time of Paul, or subsequent extra-biblical accretions of some kind, which is what Jesus was referring to?
@@charlescroll9870Paul clearly instructed NT Christians not to follow the scriptures (written) alone but to also hold to the traditions passed down as well. How does Protestantism answer this? Scripture alone isn’t the apostolic direction.
Your testimony is striking. There are some things that I have noticed, it is that Catholics are not always looking for what is wrong in others. The dimension of faith in a single Church is an immeasurable gift but it is difficult for many to realize it. However, this foundation is essential and a personal approach without the Church and its respected authority is like a drop of water in an ocean of procession. The Church needs its faithful to be in unison. For this, Catholicism offers this universality Certainly relative but real. The sacraments also help each one to grow spiritually for God without going astray. Finally, I can only advise you of the benefits of the daily Rosary and its mysteries.
You don't have the Eucharist in your Baptist Church? You never partake in the Lord's Supper in your Baptist church? If God can use the Roman church why not your Baptist Church?
Thank you God because I have been Catholic since the beginning of my life... The Catholic and Orthodox Churches are the only ones founded by Jesus himself!
I’m always kind of blown away with the stories on converts to Catholicism.. they are willing to be shinned by friends and family, and in some cases the men (maybe sometimes the wives too) give up a career because of this. Very brave.
Welcome home sister. Jesus doesn’t require us to fully know and understand everything but he does require an open and willing heart seeking understanding to the faith it has in Him. His teachings are kept safe in the Catholic Church he made Peter the first pope of with the Eucharist and priesthood only being possible because of Jesus’s own eternal priesthood.
I studied for two years. “To be deep in history is to cease to be Protestant!” And for what it’s worth… for the first time in my life “assurance” isn’t something I struggle with anymore. 😊
@@EmbracingTradition100 Ok. Did you know" Peter never claimed to be the chief shepherd-vicar-pope of the entire church. The apostles never claimed he was the chief shepherd-vicar of the church. Never claimed for himself as the rock on which the church is founded on. Nor did the apostles. The office of a papacy (supreme bishop leader, chief shepherd of the entire church) is never mentioned as a church office in any of the offices of the church described in the New Testament. See I Corinthians 12:28-29; Ephesians 2:20-21, 3:11; I Timothy 3:1-13 and Titus 1:5-9 You can never have assurance of salvation in the rcc even though the Scriptures say you are to have it.

He then gives Him the keys to the kingdom, explains that they are meant for binding and loosing, and then tells him, three times, to feed His lambs, feed His sheep. Protestantism has no viable explanation for any of this to the extent that they must be just a bunch of wasted, meaningless words. The "There's no 'Pope' in the Bible!!!!" "exposé" of the Catholic postion on this is always the NEGATIVE postion, "This doesnt mean what Catholics say it mans!!" but they never provide an affirmative position of what it DOES mean. The closest Ive seen anyone get to it is the whole goofball "small stone", "big pebble" convoluted Rube Goldberg contraption theory that ultimately, by saying that Peter was the rock He was building the Church on, was that He was saying He was building the Church on....Himself! This is all just so self-contradictory! Because there are Popes, Patriarchs and Bishops in the Catholic Church, there is authority, and a way to resolve problems in the Church. This is a gift Jesus gave to us because He knows that without it, things go off the rails and just fall apart and end up in a morass of constant fighting in its absence. Sadly you gone from one false religion of Protestant Calvinism Baptist to the mother of all false religion of the Roman Catholic Church. All have a false god they call ‘Jesus’ and their god they call God. Neither of theses name relate to the true Father and his only Son. The true head of the Catholic Church is Ha Lail Ben Shakar. True followers of Yeshua the Christ follow his teachings and the teachings of his Father. No where in the true scripture do we call the Father ‘god” God and Jesus are names brought in 330AD by the Roman Empire. Research the very first pagan religion of ancient Babylon under Nimrod and there you have it’s modern version - the Catholic Church.

Thank you for your insight! I pray that we can be a light to those around us and help them see the beauty of our faith! ❤
There’s a saying I think by either St. John Bosco or Fulton J Sheen that weak Catholics become Protestants but the strongest and most excellent of Protestants seeking Jesus become Catholics.

It's hopeless, you'll be Catholic. ❤
God bless you and your family ! May He continue to sanctify us all
I don’t know the dynamics with your marriage but you are the shepherd of the family’s souls as head of the family to do what’s spiritually best.
Amin, puji Tuhan Aleluya 🙏🙏
Welcome home! I will pray for you and your wife’s conversion

Wow... welcome to God's true Church, the Catholic church.

The Catholic Church is the true church. The faith of the RCC is Jesus is the Saviour/Messiah and the Son of God.
There's no RCC.
we are the Catholic church.
@Kitiwake Catholic Church is synonym with RCC because it is centred at Rome since Emperor Constantinople or earlier.
Thank you so much for such encouraging and uplifting words! May the Lord bless you! ❤️

I just Love it when Evangelicals say " You follow the " traditions of men!"
Were ALL traditions of men??
The Passover?
Observing the Sabbath
Circumcision
The Bible is FULL OF Traditions, Especially the OT!
The Law Of Moses, For example
The 10 Commandments?
( Many Evangelicals think they're too good to follow God's laws, here)
Speaking of the " traditions of men"
These SAME Men, as you call them, Were filled with the Holy Spirit!

Yes! Couldn’t agree more! 😊 And thank you for your comment!
Praise the Lord Jesus Christ! Welcome to the Catholic Church! I pray more people come to the same epiphany as you have. The Holy Eucharist is the holiest sacrament in the faith where we receive the transubstantiated body and blood of Christ.
"Truly, truly, I say to you, unless you eat the flesh of the Son of man and drink his blood, you have no life in you; he who eats my flesh and drinks my blood has eternal life, and I will raise him up at the last day."
{John 6:53-54)
"He who eats my flesh and drinks my blood abides in me, and I in him. As the living Father sent me, and I live because of the Father, so he who eats me will live because of me." {John 6:56-57)
The Catholic Church was established by Jesus himself when he anointed Peter as leader of his apostles. Catholicism is the most profound religion and the original manuscripts from which the Bible was taken are all preserved in the Vatican archives.
Thank you so much for your awesome comment! 😀

@@EmbracingTradition100 There's a ton of resources out there honestly, it can be a maze to navigate.

It's called '100 Books to read before the four last things' by 'Marie I. George'
It covers a wide array of spiritual reading on different topics that should guide you pretty well.
After listening to your video (I'm halfway through), it's clear your heart is drawn towards Christ in the Eucharist.
So, in that spirit I should recommend you a small book called 'How to get more from Holy Communion' by 'St Peter Julian Eymard'
Also there's 2 books by TAN publishing that you'd like not covered by the 1st book i mentioned.
Manual for Eucharistic Adoration
A Year with the Eucharist
You mentioned your husband was going to be a pastor. If he's interested in a much more theological understanding, then there's a great book called 'The Eucharist' by 'Lawrence Feingold'

The Roman Catholic Church reminds me of a giant funeral parlor.
😂 Have you ever been to a catholic service? Just curious.
I experienced a lot of the same emotions. Thank you for sharing this! I can relate very much!
It's always Calvinism....

Thank you for your kind comment!
Thank you for explaining everything so beautifully! Welcome home! I am a cradle Catholic and my husband became Catholic last Easter and is thriving!
Thank you for your kind comment! So happy to hear about your husband joining you! That’s very exciting news!
I then will look at scriptures as a whole not a passage on its own
Religions, especially the RCC rely upon man's traditions as equal to God's word and scriptures states just the opposite.
Matt 16:16
Those traditions that Paul talkes about where later written down and are the same as what he said. They are not something other than what he and other writers wrote. The RCC has added to what was written and in some cases removed or changed what was written.
Disdain:
I am also no fan of JWs, Mormons, Prosperity, New Age, or Scientology religions either.
Subbed 🎉
Thank you so much for your support! 😊
the temptation of following the religious opinions of your 'biblical' pastor, or whoever, instead of the Lord in the Eucharist, is so widespread...

Tradition? “All too well do you reject the commandment of God, that you may keep your tradition.” Jesus (Mark 7:9)
“Therefore, brethren, stand fast, and hold the traditions which ye have been taught, whether by word, or our epistle.” 2 Thess. 2:15
It’s a whole different world for sure. Everyone has been so kind and overly charitable. It’s been a breath of fresh air!
You don't have the Eucharist in your Baptist Church? You never partake in the Lord's Supper in your Baptist church?
If God can use the Roman church why not your Baptist Church?
Baptist’s don’t believe it’s the Eucharist, why would they have it when that’s one of the main things they rejected and didn’t want?
Thank you God because I have been Catholic since the beginning of my life... The Catholic and Orthodox Churches are the only ones founded by Jesus himself!
poor discernment here...
I’m always kind of blown away with the stories on converts to Catholicism.. they are willing to be shinned by friends and family, and in some cases the men (maybe sometimes the wives too) give up a career because of this. Very brave.
Thank you for your kind comment! 😌
Thank you for your encouraging comment! ☺️
You will not find assurance in the rcc. You should have researched the rcc.
I studied for two years. “To be deep in history is to cease to be Protestant!” And for what it’s worth… for the first time in my life “assurance” isn’t something I struggle with anymore. 😊
@@EmbracingTradition100 Ok. Did you know"
Peter never claimed to be the chief shepherd-vicar-pope of the entire church.
See I Corinthians 12:28-29; Ephesians 2:20-21, 3:11; I Timothy 3:1-13 and Titus 1:5-9
You can never have assurance of salvation in the rcc even though the Scriptures say you are to have it.
@@Justas399
What does Jesus mean then when He says "You [Peter] are rock and on this rock I will build my Church"?
Even when those Popes, Patriarchs, Bishops are bad people, the Holy Spirit guides the Church and even those problems are overcome.
So please, inform us once and for all, what does Jesus ACTUALLY mean?
@@Justas399 the bible doesn't say what books are the bible. you blindly accept it from the time you were given it. the list of books in the single volume come directly from the church you call wicked. the bible doesn't define the trinity. it tells us information about God but the way you put it together varies from person to person but if any person denies the trinity he's a heretic in your opinion isn't he? so many other things we all implicitly believe in that the bible doesn't explicitly say. if you want to actually attempt to refute what christians have always believed don't demand that the bible must say something verbatim unequivocally and don't make arguments from silence that blow up in your face.
@ do you know the tests that were used to determine the New Testament canon?
The Trinity is well supported by Scripture ? Do you know what verses are?

This is how one was placed before God Allmighty
A Visionary in spirit was instructed by the Holy Spirit to kneel, with both hands straight down at the sides, palms open & facing forward, head lifted up when he sees a DARK & FRIGHTENING CLOUD above, and from his mouth utters THE LORDS PRAYER, as Jesus taught No any other words Thats all
Note, before the presence of the Allmighty God, even the hands are not raised

The RCC is Apostate. Mary is just a woman; she is not sinless, not an eternal virgin and was not assumed into heaven. She is NOT a mediator.

The only people walking the wide path are those blinded by the errors of Protestantism. Faith alone cannot save you. Mental ascent cannot save you. Even the demons believe and tremble. Prayers for you. 🙏
