i started citalopram almost 2 months ago (4th medication that i’ve tried 😬) they started me at 20mg but i had to go down to 10mg after it actually made my anxiety worse. it’s slowly subsiding now, so went back up to 20mg yesterday. i’ve noticed that taking it at night helps reduce side effects and doesn’t effect my sleep so maybe that’s something you can try! you’re doing amazing loz, so proud of you ❤️

I started Citalopram 5 days ago and the first 3 days were good but these last two days I feel worse panic attacks the whole day and feel sad , I want to remain positive since they say it’s worse before it gets better but so draining to feel this way

Hi , everything has been better , the first two weeks were definitely the hardest . I feel a lot more calm , my overthinking and my negative thoughts have almost stopped. I hardly get panic attacks now and when I do end up having one it’s way easier to calm myself down and bring myself back to reality.
I honestly sometimes go on about my day without any thought of anxiety or any symptoms of it and it’s only when I remember about it that I realized how I’m going back to my normal self . I’m not going to say I’m 100% free of anxiety because no one is but it is easier to go on about my day.
I’m no longer in fear or feeling sad and hopeless all the time , I started looking forward to many things again , thinking about the future with positivity and happiness .
It feels good to know that things can and will get better. It’s a hard journey but it’s possible!!
I hope you are doing well if you have any questions with anything regarding the medication let me know !!!!

Im so pleased your feeling a bit better, so proud of you for taking the medication 💕 I totally relate to the meal deals, i end up pulling the whole the thing apart to check its okay and also comvince myself the fridges are not cold enough its so annoying especially since i know that it is fine.

I'm calling my doc tomorrow and see if I can start it but my issue is I hate getting my vitals read, it sends me on a frantic. I hate it and I know it's just me. Hope this helps with my anxiety. I want those to be over.
