This is great downed model rescue tool. I will definitely implement it in all my GPS models.
i just got it on my tx16s. im excited to see if i can use it with my crossfire module
But which of the numbers do U use from the lines shown starting from 8.. all of the digits you enter into Google maps? As it doesn't seem to work in my case?

This video just saved my drone yesterday. I can't thank you enough. Being able to find my rouge drone in the middle of the bush with a disconnected battery would have been impossible without your help, we even walked past it twice trying to use Google maps to realise it was to the mm on google maps.

done this on my TX16S but although i get the screen come up once connected to the quad i get no readings....i am using a crossfire module with a nano rx would this be the reason....does this work with crossfire

Is there no sim-card-based gps tracker, like for cats&dogs is used with its own battery ? I'd like to add that to my drone.

I keep a pen and paper handy, write down the coordinates from my goggles dispaly if the stupid thing goes down. it isn't much use though, the forest is so thick can't get a GPS signal on the phone to go look for it in the bush.
Hi TMac, so for the Radiomaster tx16s we can use the Jumper T16 version of GPS_Telemetry-main since both radios have screens 480x272, right?

Installed this on my TX16s but unsure how to reset telemetry after good GPS coordinates found, as moschotto says to do, anybody help? Unless I reboot transmitter a few times the home position is wrong
many thanks for the video, it's exactly what i was looking for! however following step by step the guide i get "no gps data available", tried with xfire and elrs, in 2 different build i get the same message, can you help troubleshooting? thanks!!
Things to check: 1. got a GPS lock with your GPS module?, 2. Telemetry enabled in Betaflight?, 3. Discover New Sensors on Telemetry Page of transmitter?, 4. "Ignore Instances" box on Telemetry Page of transmitter UNCHECKED?
@@TMacFPV thanks for your help, it's really appreciated!! i've done the same on 2 planes and 3 quad and only in 1 plane and 1 quad it's working and i'm able to get betaflight telemetry! not sure what to check because the setup is exactly the same! i get the crossfire telemetry like rssi and dbm readings but not the betaflight (so no flight mode, current, voltage and GPS info!). any clue on what to check? :(

Great video. Maybe for beginners like me (if you have time) you could show how to set it up on a Taranus (mine is the x9d+ 2019). I have version 2.3.9. I copied the files (I used GPSviewerX9.lua, not GPSviewerX9e) to my radio but am confused on how to see the display. Thanks! I love your channel.
Hey Dale, thanks! I think you might just be stuck on how to display telemetry pages. Did you also install the Icon folder and setup a telemetry screen (page 13/13) per instructions on github site?
Install Taranis models:
copy GPSxxx.lua to /SCRIPTS/TELEMETRY
copy GPSviewerxxx.lua to /SCRIPTS/TOOLS
copy the ICON folder to /SCRIPTS/TELEMETRY/BMP
Setup a "screen (DIsplay 13/13)" and select GPSxxx.lua

hello, now i don't use this widget. I just entered gps coordinates. On the radio the coordinates are not accurate. In viewers and also on betaflight they are accurate. How can I fix? Can you help me please?

does anyone facing issues with a T16 "emergency mode" after setup or turning off/on the radio? I don't own a T16 so i can't test it....

Just a quick note, I thought this wasn't working and I realized that I didn't have telemetry enabled in betaflight. Remember to switch it on or this widget won't work.
