Hey! I just got this press. I start with 200c and press for the 300 seconds then I flip for 30s and do the same for the other side. My tumbler came out great! Also I tape the ends down as well. Take your time next time it will work!
I have this press. I used the highest heat setting and pressed much longer. My tops and bottoms came out perfectly. I also taped top and bottom and didn't use the shrink wrap.
I have not ventured into sublimation yet. I'm still learning and doing my research. Thanks for the demo. With its portability, I can see this machine being useful for crafting classes and craft fairs.
I have the full realkant and love it. I had to use my silicone wrap to get my bottoms to get like I want it. You might want to adjust your pressure just a lil more
Thanks for the courage to demo this heat press. I think we all learn a little when things go wrong. Just getting into sublimation, so I always like to see what others are doing. Thanks again.
I think it’s an affordable option for mugs in comparison with the Cricut mug press price. Thank you for the genuine and down to earth review. I was thinking about buying it for tumblers but now I have a better idea of what I’ll get for my money. Thanks again 💕
I have a mug press from heat press nation and I only press mugs in it. I think if I do tumblers I would want a tumbler press. With any mug press seems like so much work to press a tumbler. But I do like the color and how it’s portable. I like all the items you get with the tumbler purchases. If I didn’t have a mug press. I would buy this one.
You think you have to get everything. Weigh your options for which one best suits your needs. This was just a review for them but I love my other tumbler press and oven much better.
@@katrinasgracefulcreations3711 I showed this mug press and she said no to this one. Your right, not all are gonna be best options. The T-shirt press has been working since it came home 😃 lol Your reviews are still gold!!
Even with the shrink wrap paper you can still use the butcher paper as extra protection I'm case it melt. This way it only melt to the paper and not the machine
I like the idea that it is small and portable but it would have been nice to be the size of the tumbler. Thank you for sharing the tutorial test. Love your videos. :-)
Thank you SO much for doing this demonstration. I haven't seen anyone do such a detailed demo. I really need this type of basic demonstration. I was wondering about taping it around the top and bottom. But I think i saw someone say they did it and it helped. I was wondering if you put the butcher paper around it after the shrink wrap, would it help? I really want to try this but I am still kinda nervous. and do you have to wear a mask? Thanks for taking the time to show us. Donna
Stop before you finish unwrapping the cup and put the tape right back on. Put the ends in for 10-15 seconds rotating as you do the tumbler. Presto no ghosting! Someone taught me this and I've had NO ghosting since. Just passing on the love. Keep up the awesome work!! Thanks for the great video!
Thanks for the tip. I need a method to eliminate ghosting. When you say "stop before you finish unwrapping", do you mean remove the butcher paper but not the sub paper? What's the step by step? I need help! Thx!
They saw the video and said only 30 seconds. You can't go wrong with adding an extra 15 secs. But even when i used the shrink sleeve which is like tape the ends didn't come out right. I will try it with tape next time.
wow, as soon as I saw how small that box was? I ran and preordered. lol, ok..once you said they had a larger one? I cancelled this one and ordered the tumbler one as it does the 11 to 15 oz mugs and the 20 and 30 oz tumbler as well
Thank you for showing this, I'm just starting out doing cups and really like the look of sublimation cups, I need an honest answer, should I just use my toster oven or get a heat press? BTW I love you video!
This is great for single mugs the oven is more for doing multiple items at a time. I don’t use my oven if I’m doing 1 mug I use my hpn mug press but this one cost way less.
I’ve use the air fryer method and my tumblers always came out great. My fryer just stopped working and I came to your site looking for the tumbler you tried. I don’t think I will be purchasing this one but instead get a full 20oz tumbler heat press.
No I definitely don’t recommend this one for tumblers. I have the sublimation oven and the 2 other actual tumbler presses. Check out the heat press nation ones on my channel or the PyD tumbler press. Those are great options.
Katrina, You really do need to tape the top and bottom of the tumblers if you're not going to use the wraps. ❤️ and a wrap with the press to protect the press put your butcher paper around it.
Katrina. I’ve been shopping and shopping for a mug press. But I’m still recovering from life lol. But do you really believe this mug press would get me started. I’m just watching where my money close Any advice would be appreciated
What do I have to do to get one just to test it out to see how it will work it's my first time trying to do one and I would like to test one of the machines before purchasing it
i dont like all the turning and flipping and ghosting. Think I stick with my convention oven. This may be good for mugs not tumblers. The vibrant colors come from the ink being used not the heat press
Honestly it's on sale now for 79.99 the last time i checked on amazon. I would never use it for tumblers. too small. But mugs if you want something small and budget friendly yes.

Does it fit larger tumblers
Is it 300 secs or 30 sec the first time? TY
Which paper and ink are you using if you don’t mind me asking?
Excellent! TY!

Hi Sally, thanks for purchasing from us. I'm glad you made it successfully, can you share your successful experience if possible? Thanks!
The company should have sent the press to you 🥰

Even though the Black Girl Magic ghosted you could embellish it to cover it up. It is beautiful 😍

Very easy to do. You’re welcome

Right. They do have a larger tumbler press that is actually for a tumbler.

Hi Tina, We usually advise our customers to do that and it really works, your advice really nice! ! ! Thanks!
Can you explain when you say stop before you finish unwrapping
@@katrinasgracefulcreations3711 love all your videos first and foremost…however can you do a video explaining stop before unwrapping please
Nice, but I was thinking tape all ends of the tumbler securely maybe that would have helped.
Yes I will definitely do that next time.
This press looks perfect for my 14oz tumblers from maker Flo. It's too cute.
Hi there, good job. Parchment paper on the shrink wrap works good. It save the heat press. I like this press
I have the same one and color and Yes definitely tape the ends and more pressure. I also do 45s x4 you did good. I didn’t know they had a larger one 🤔

awesome
Hey Katrina, I guess we can't sleep😜👋🏽so let's watch an awesome video 👍🏽take care🙏🏼❤️
Video took forever to upload. Lol. I’m up now Witt my son he’s a night owl. Lol.
thank you for the video. when you pressed your coffee mugs what temp and how long? my cups keep ghosting ruined a couple of them already. ugh
Would love to see a follow up with a tumbler when you perfect the method. Thanks! Great overview of this press.

Can you send me the link to the larger one please. I just looked all over Amazon and didn't find it....TY
Thank you...I was thinking about getting one.

I love the Black Girl tumbler even with the ghosting. The ghost I really loke on both of them.
Thank you

I just posted a new video with glass cans. Check that out
Hi Katrina. Did you find that this heat press is more time consuming being as you have to do half at a time twice?
Yes I was asked to do this review I don’t like this tumbler press. Small and cheap but not for me.
Katrina. I’ve been shopping and shopping for a mug press. But I’m still recovering from life lol. But do you really believe this mug press would get me started. I’m just watching where my money close Any advice would be appreciated
I can't tell you which one to get. But if you are only doing mugs and nothing else this is one of the cheaper ones to get started with.
On the hot mom summer you didn't mirror the image so the summer was backward BUT I Love that design.
Thank you so much for doing this demo for us👍💚💜💚💜
I plan on getting that same machine
I usually give more time and pressure to ensure better results
Me too. And they told me less time. Lol.
Maybe try pressing the tumbler in 3rds, top, bottom, middle. That way the top and bottom get snugged by the excess padding 🤷♀️ might work
Have you had a chance to try this with your Wala mugpress yet? I just saw a post from a woman last night and she said it worked great with it.
OMG! I have that same paper trimmer and same design and it did the same thing to me. I ended up getting a guillotine, it works much better.
The paper keeps getting stuck down in the crack. Have to constantly clean it. Lol
Thanks for sharing. Can you do a video on how you setup your camera. I love your setup. Thank you
Filming for youtube? I will one day.

I do a variety of things to teach on my channel.
Maybe add glitter or something tocthe bottom or in any spots that didn't turn out right and then just add a thin layer of epoxy?!
Excellent idea. Yesssss great tip!

How do you get the picture to go all around the mug? I get a gap.

So no good heater
You should have put butcher paper over the shrink wrap🤣🤣🤣🤣

This is too time consuming to use for these tumblers. Just buy one that fits the entire tumbler.
