HELP WANTED!!!!!!!! MY SAMPLING ICONS DO NOT RESPOND!!!! I've contacted NI and have yet had someone help me with this problem. ruclips.net/video/mpxTLujZEAI/видео.html
@@SanjayC Hey man, don't suppose you use it with Logic Pro?? Finding it super tricky seamlessly linking the two. Trying to find the best workflow. Great tuts!!!
@@RyNeaSoulMusic What Daw you using? I bought it and try to integrate with Logic Pro. It is a pain in the arse. I love the kit and you can get some cool sounds, plus it comes with sample banks and soft synths (Massive, reaktor) that are probably worth it alone. But it i pretty frustrating setting it up with Logic.
This is by far one of the best newbie tutorials I have ever seen. I learned more from you in 7 minutes than from the professionals who drag out info and make learning extremely boring.
I bought the Maschine because of you.You explained it so well that I understood everything. You saved me a lot of time and nerves.I really appreciate that you exist.Thank you very much and best regards from Germany
Hey Sanjay, I purchased the mikro mk3 about 3 weeks ago and have had a struggle finding a video for complete beginners. I watched your series and after a few hours I've already put together a track barely having to touch my keyboard. Most other videos presume that you already know everything and that you have just installed another midi controller. I paid £180 for the controller and was about to pour acetone over it because of the software. It took me nearly 2 weeks to sort out libraries/audio/midi. Now I'm sorted I can settle in and your videos are great. I lose concentration very easily so these 8min bursts cover all the basics and the tips are invaluable.
I'm so happy to hear that! You can always come back and review them anytime you need. That's why I made them this way. You can come back with a new beat idea and follow my tutorial again! Thanks so much for writing to me. You made my day! So what kind of music are you making with it?
@@SanjayC Thanks for replying, I actually thought the post was closed. I listen to late 90s early noughties trance. I'm in Ireland so I was young when the European trance revolution was hitting. I'm 40 now so I think you are younger than me, although my hip hop influences are the same. My USB in my car consists of house of pain, Tupac, cypress hill, snoop, biggie, sublime, pink floyd, everlast, the jam, oasis, blondie, more recently chamelphat, deadmaus, djing progressive house is where I'm at. I enjoy just pumping out something live, my brain hasn't recovered from the 00s so memorizing things are a bit difficult.
Hey all, can I just say that this series has been the easiest to understand from scratch that I have found. I would say that trying to set up on win7 64bit is a nightmare. This takes nothing away from this tutorial, it is 100% first class. The problem is the installation directory for the vsts. It took me nearly 2 weeks to sort it so if anyone is facing the same problems " massive could not be loaded " let me know and if I can help I will. It drove me bonkers!!!
Hey Man I am struggling with the same issue but on my Mac. It’s not loading any of the VSTs with the same error message, “Massive could not be loaded”. Any guidance you can offer would be highly appreciated.
The reason i can not do without RUclips, theres always that one video to make your day better Just got me a Maschine and I was already getting frustrated with it .Thank you ,thank youuuu.
Sanjay, I've watched videos from you in the past and they have been really helpful to get started in many areas of the music production world but something as simple as showing the name of the software in Native Access puts at the top of the food chain on this topic. Amazing! Thank you so much.
Honestly, other RUclipsrs should watch your videos and learn. Simple, efficient, teaches you what you need to know, not all hyped and crazy. Subscribed.
I really like the mass of information you gave. Its really simple to remember all steps. Another good thing is you calm voice, makes it easier to understand
I was so skeptical of every controller on the market after perhaps over watching like a billion reviews and tutorials. This single video gave me the courage to learn Maschine, and finally just pick a NI controller and go with it. Many thanks 🔊💯
NI should give you commissions because in one video you totally just sold me one of these things! I never realized it was so easy to use and looks like a lot of fun!
@Sanjay C - Just wanted to thank you. I've been using FL Studio for quite some time, which I love (I know you can use Maschine as a VST) but you simplify your tutorials which most people don't, so again thank you.
BONUS TIP: !!!!!!! If you want to RECORD the EFFECT, do the following: Press RECORD, press PERFORM, select the effect, then press and hold the AUTO buttom, then use the strip. Remember to hold down AUTO while using the strip!!
Thank you so much! After finally fixing a USB popping and crackling issue by reinstalling my Focusrite Scarlett drivers I was not inspired but you have renewed my determination to learn.
Just bought the Micro for my 9 year old. I will admit ... I wanted it too. So now we have something new to enjoy together doing. As a total beginner (my only experience with music making is 20+ years old ImpulseTracker) I find your videos very cool. You got a new subscriber (actually 2).
Thank you Sanjay for this straightforward Tutorial Part 1. Being new to the Maschine workflow, this gave a little more understanding than just me guessing how to even know where to begin with this controller. I'm coming an mpc1000 instrument, so this is all new to me.😅
I just got mine, and I appreciate this Sanjay. Thanks! Also, I am using mine with an M1 Macbook Pro. It crashed all the time, but then I read to reduce the latency to 128. It has worked flawlessly since. Hopefully that helps someone else.
Thanks so much. I was frustrated watching Sound on Sound tutorial on Maschine MK3 which is not Mikro but I figured it would have very similar functionality. It was for beginners but it didn't work for me. So thank you for making this fun and quick to learn. Now I'm inspired to really dig in.
Honestly man Well done I just bought that Maschine, even though I have no idea how to make beat or music at all. Now I have some idea how to get it done. :)
@ 3:40 "..but I find that sounds too electronic, I prefer the quantize 50% button". lol. A further assurance real drummers and real drums do have their place. Still, a very nice toy especially for calling up just about any drum sound you can think of on the fly. Finger pad tappers and drummers are truly quite different. Excellent demo, thanks Sanjay.
Your Tutorials with the mk3 micro maschine was the perfect introduction to the world of Native Instruments for me. It would be a dream if you could teach us how to mix and master with the machine. There is little or no useful information on the Internet or RUclips. You can explain everything so easily, even more complex things. I learned a lot from you. I am eternally grateful for that alone🙏🙏🙏Much love and respect bro ❤️
I really appreciate that. So glad you found this useful. For mixing, you've got access to the basic mixer controls in the Maschine software. For mastering, I usually use a plugin like Izotope Ozone 9. Its excellent!
Wow these videos are GREAT!!! Can you make more of these types of "beginners" videos that show very basic makings of beats and music from start to finish? There are TONS of videos that show people "using" the Maschine Mikro MK3 but NONE that explained it as good as you thanks man!!!
Your tutorials are great. The trouble is the Mikro 3 is not great.
