- Welcome back to Suffolk for the Stour and Orwell path, a 40 mile long distance route from Trimley Marshes near Felixstowe to Cattawade on the Essex/Suffolk border.
This is Part 4 of 4: Lower Holbrook to Cattawade (7 miles).
I was joined by my better half Dawn for this fantastic multi day adventure to celebrate Valentine's Day and we wild camped along the river estuaries of the Orwell and Stour using my Vango Helvellyn 200 tent.

Did this walk over 3 days couple of years ago. It was a nice trip but found the footpaths in places very overgrown. Especially near Shotley area. It's good enough to warrant doing it again at some point. Was fishing the lake at 12:35 this week. It's owned by the council and managed by our fishing club. It's a great spot but fairly noisy. It's called Decoy Pond.
We didn't encounter any overgrown areas, bit muddy in places. Really underrated path, some great places to camp along the way. Thanks for watching mate and good to hear from you again, hope you're keeping well.
