  • Welcome to the South Downs Way! This is Part 2 of this popular long distance route that runs 100 miles from Winchester city in Hampshire to Eastbourne on the East Sussex coast, covering 3 counties and the South Downs National Park.
In Part 2 I am joined by my other half Dawn as we walk 12.5 miles from the village of Exton, wild camping overnight on top of Old Winchester Hill, and then walking on to the village of Buriton via Butser Hill and Queen Elizabeth Country Park. We used our OEX Phoxx 2 tent.
Join me for this exciting series of videos, The South Downs Way! Thanks for watching!

    Nice video Tom
    As for Farting,
My wife's claim to fame is that she made two women actually physically sick on the assembly line were she used to work.
And I remember saying that a woman hasn't got a good fart in them, I literally eat my words we were in a smart car at the time. 🤢🤮😂😂😂😂

Thanks again folks, enjoyed that and you both always make me chuckle / smile at times.
Tom have a search for a BROTHERS Cider - Raspberry Ripple, and BROTHERS Cloudy Lemon, Cherry Bakewell is also really nice.
    Cheers again.

Glad you enjoyed it mate. I've had the cloudy lemon, really liked it and the cherry bakewell wasn't bad either , but not heard of the raspberry ripple flavour so I'll try and find it. Aldi do some great new flavours so I've just reviewed a couple of them tonight up on Chanctonbury Ring Hill fort for the latest video of the South Downs Way. The views up here are fantastic, and Dawn has just farted in the tent again!🤣🤣🤣👍

Thanks Tom for sharing your journey with Dawn. I know an incredible amount of time and effort goes into recording, editing and uploading these videos. And as always huge repspect for the narration with the local and historical facts, thats what makes your videos so unique compared to other campers, hikers on youtube.

Brilliant as always Tom. You manage to evoke the true essence of every walk you film, bringing to life the sights, the sounds, and yes sometimes even the smell of the countryside you pass through. I walked the SDW in June, your film brought back all those feelings I associate with the walk, and I look forward to watching the rest of your adventures as you make your way to Eastbourne. Hopefully Dawn will accompany you for the remainder of the walk, what a hero, broken foot and all. Stay safe, both of you, and happy wandering.

Thanks mate, yes we've since done 2 more videos and are currently about to do Amberley to Botolphs with a wild camp at Chanctonbury Ring. I think we've both agreed that Dawn needs to do the rest of the SDW with me as she's done so much already.

“Tea for three” was a classic episode for sure. Reminded me of going to the BBC and being in the audience for the recording of “The Miracle of Peckham” episode. Certainly miss only fools and horses. Thanks for sharing, Tom.

Always a good watch Tom and Dawn ✌️👌...I love Dawn's 'strategic farting' 😁. Seriously, send her over to fart on the Russians and Ukrainians, and it would all be over, and we could get back to funding the NHS and other worthy causes 😉
She's even mosbehaving at 48:20, diving into the back of the car, and missing her cue on the hand clap 👍 First class 🥇🏆
