When I was at the optometrist/opticians' office a few months back, I heard the doctor inquire of someone about what county Miamisburg was in. I piped up and told him I live in the 'Burg, and he immediately asked, "Is the burger wagon still there?" and I said yes. He smiled and said, "Good, I want to go there and buy a big bag of burgers for everyone!" I'm fortunate to live right down the road from it, and can walk there any time. My sis stops by sometimes when there's not a line to grab us each four of them. She does that because it just about ALWAYS has a line, they're great! There're a few benches in that "roundabout" area they're parked in, so after people walk up they can find somewhere to sit and eat. I never knew it had been around since 1913, although I knew about the big flood (had a train derailment right near there too, I think in the 80s). The Great Miami River is a stone's throw from the wagon; it'd prolly be easy to grab a bag of them then go to the river park nearby to eat. One of the things I love about it (besides the staff) is its simplicity. Like they said, burgers, chips, soda -- that's it. They put a big single slice of pickle on them, and single slice of onion, and that's it. A single burger doesn't look that filling, but they really are, surprisingly so. Miamisburg is a bit south of Dayton. The wagon's easy to get to -- go west on SR725/E Central AVE (Where I live) to "Old Miamisburg" and you'll hit a circular road, not really a roundabout, and as it goes clockwise, at about the 9 o'clock position (south), to your left, you should see the wagon. If not, ask anyone you see and there's a 95% chance they'll be able to point it out to you.
Several times a year I hit up the wagon. Always delicious, filling, and satisfying. I have brought out my own condiments and cheese but they don't work on these burgers. 4 or 5 singles with extra pickle is enough for a grown man. P.S. tip your servers they work in harsh conditions.
The old man that use to run it was the best 1 pickle and a thick slice of onion salt and pepper and no special orders these young kids that work it now days just don't have it RIP old grouchy hamburger wagon man your burgers are missed
wowzerz !!.................fell in love with these shits when i was young...........and now i dream about them...........pickles.....onions........peppa...........kill !!
@@NickTQ101 look, if you can't slap a piece of cheese on my burger maybe you need to ride the slow bus instead of running a food cart. I know it's hard to understand but if you serve hamburgers, you also serve cheeseburgers. Everyone does. It gives you not only a better product that more people enjoy than just a hamburger but it increases your profit margin by charging 2 bucks more for a 50 cent slice of cheese.
@@jordanhicks5131 man, it's rough finding someone with such low comprehensive skills. If you want a cheeseburger go to a cheeseburger joint. This is called the hamburger wagon. Pretty simple stuff. I'm sure more children understand it than you. Ps. You could probably do with skipping the cheese, fatass.
@@jordanhicks5131But have you tried the burgers? They’re incredible. They’re deep fried in their own greasy fat. They’re crunchy on the outside and juicy on the inside. The bun and pickles and onions are so good. It’s a heavenly burger. I’m just saying don’t knock it til you try it. I personally am a die hard cheeseburger fanatic and will always defend cheese on my burger. However, I want to always try something the way somebody intended it just to see what they were thinking and where their process is. And sometimes it works great without cheese. Like this one, or a guberburger in Missouri.

A burger without cheese is like gonorrhea without the burning sensation when you pee

Best hamburgers. EVER.
If they put cheese on em, maybe.
@@jordanhicks5131it's called a HAMBURGER wagon. Not a CHEESEBURGER wagon. Bit tough for slow people to understand, I know. You'll get it though!
