Finally watching this episode and I have to say... I really don't miss Sydney rain! As a postie I did 12months in Melbourne and barely donned my wet weather gear because of the 10 minute per hour patches for an entire week where as the 12 months in Sydney was tears and saw me wear the wets more in the first month, which was NOVEMBER, than I did the previous year. When Sydney gets it's rain it feels like a constant, non stop drenching for at least 24 hours.
You have such a great cycling personality! This was a joy to watch and looked like such a great ride! Congrats on the ride and thank you for the MS support, you CRACKING HUMAN!!!

I started right on 6am, I thought I would see you, guess i was too fast. The ride straight after waterfall train station was the most sketchy. But It was so awesome riding in the rain. the volunteers were great! This is apart of the indipac, so hopefully you can make it back.
Great cause and awesome job doing the ride. Mate you should try and come to Perth next year for the ride to Conquer Cancer. Did it for the first time this year. It was amazing.

It's not ironic that it's raining in a rainforest, It's appropriate. It's ironic that you didn't wear a jacket and then got soaked to the skin (not the bone, you get "frozen to the bone") and were surprised, and vlogged your surprise from a rainforest XD Cracking vid though!
I remember the video from a while back when you profiled the camera and mic. Because of the rain, I assume the fluffy get wet but was still effective or did you do a lot of audio cleanup in post? Also, do you use any type of stabilization when shooting from the bike or do you simply use the gorillapod as a handle?

Largest timed cycle event in the world. 35000 participants leaving in bunches of about 100 riders every minute. Pros first, geysers wearing flip flops last...! Beer tent the size of two hockey fields at the end and also rots of other entertainment!

The helmet tip isn't about style. If you were to crash with a helmet like that, it wouldn't protect the front of your head.

Why don’t you use a rain jacket? I have one made by Sugoi and is perfect for rainy days :)
