Hey all - this will probably be my last sit-down talk vid on long hair. You can still expect lots of tips/tricks/style/haircut vids! I just don't feel it's necessary to produce any more sit-down talking videos whereby I update you all on my hair-growth, hair-length or hair measurements because regardless of how long my hair gets, I've attained my desired style and talking about an additional few inches of hair length every now and then isn't fun or inspiring. LOVE xx
Hii L. Looking back at your videos, gives me such a big smile. Because I have been growing my hair for about the same time you have and I've been watching your videos and try to implement most of them. But I have to agree this is my best video, because I can relate. For a long time or even my whole life, I liked and wanted long hair and I'm so happy to have it, I don't want to get rid of it and I agree with everything you said. And I'm very happy I did it with no regrets 🤍🤍🤍
[Ciao Luca, bello regazzo. This is kind of private, in that others reading may think me arrogant at best, infantile at worst but you won't. I commented recently on length/shade of your trousers and gave you a (apposite I hope) verse from blind Milton's Paradise Lost. And you gave me a nice big red ❤ - I felt as smug as Will Smith looked just after his recent hand on Rock 👋 Allora, I'm nearly 66 and lucky; my hair recedes not a jot and I've not one single spot of baldness, so don't have that stringy look that some older men sport. Last time I grew it really long (in the mid 1970s just before the mullet arrived when you could tell whether someone was 'right on' or 'straight' by the length of their hair) it was so thick/wavy it kinda grew sideways as much as down. Nearly 50 years later (shoot what the phukkk...believe me Luca it goes fast. My lesson N°2 for you. You remember how a day lasted forever when you were 7 or 8......well, the exponentiality has only just started....they say that in your 90s it goes so fast that it seems like it's always breakfast! It means that now my hair not quite so thick, it actually grows down like I wanted all those years ago. So it's still super thick. I've a couple of mates (who don't know each other) of your age; one is 23 today, the other a few months older, and they've both described it as "fierce"! That's pretty cool. But here's the thing; I've been growing it for 18 months, and although I was way behind you a year ago, I've caught up almost, so it grows really fast I guess. Personally, I've loved your support, encouragement and inspiration (vicariously, bien sûr) and I don't want it to stop. So, young man, at least pop up every few months and let your hair down - you know it makes sense. For otherwise, should I get shaky one day and have it all lopped off - well, it will be your fault! I jest, but think about your loyal fans before you decide to stop letting it down (showing it off) online. How would your look change, I wonder, were you to be clean shaven, with only a moustache or with no facial hair at all. That could be interesting; certainly a way to change your look without sacrificing the beauty, and power, of your tressary. Hey - and thanks for suffering my logorrhea - you're a good guy....and a smart man. Who loves ya?!! And all that stuff. Thanks again. A reviderla, bello regazzo! x ]
Cant believe ive been growing my hair for 2 years and 4 months. Its been such a journey and ive loved everyday of it. Thanks Luca for keeping us all motivated.
Another love/hate: Hate that when you're trying to be active (ie. working out or sports, your hair can feel like it's getting in the way, yes even when you tie it up). Love that it can unlock/boost different type of styles for you. Sometimes some outfits and looks just got a lot better with longer hair.
Alternatively some hairstyles look awful with long hair imo, I hate the look of having my hair down during the winters where I have a thicker jacket or many layers on, I just hate how it sits on the shoulders. Will definitely be looking forward to the summer though lol
Living in Melbourne Aus, I finally decided to try growing out my hair thanks to a friend during the insane lockdowns we had (wasn’t allowed to get it cut even if I wanted to!). Been with you every step of the way for guidance and advice and it paid off big time, I caught up with an old crush of mine from 9 years ago recently and she LOVES long hair (last time she saw me it was short and skin faded), my glow up was so good she decided to date me 😎 Long hair gets the ladies gentlemen 👌
Same here my hair is the same length as yours. I can finally put it up in a high bun and it’s much easier to manage for me than getting frequent haircuts
Timing is a funny thing. I’ve been watching this channel for around a year and it has helped me so much, I started growing my hair in October 2020 and it has come so far. I have quite wavy / curly hair (never even knew that until I grew it out) so it gets so frizzy and can get greasy quite quickly after washing. I think everyone should grow their hair out once in their life just to see how it goes. I’m 19 and have had long hair twice now but due to the fact that I’m essentially unable to commit to the time and money among other things that long hair needs (trying to find perfect products can be costly!) I am very close to cutting it. Had a trim last week and a tidy up to see if it could reignite the flame of wanting long hair but I just want the convenience and versatility of short hair again - the point Luca makes as well of being less confident + sort of feeling like you’re still the guy with short hair is how I have felt this whole time and I’ve kind of taken the “if I regret it, it’ll grow back” approach. When going to the gym and doing a lot of sport especially cycling (helmets are a nightmare with long hair) it has just started to be a pain. Salute to all of the men with long hair out there though who make it look good as it is such hard work. Great video. One last thing I wanted to add as well is that I think long hair requires a lot of maturity to keep (maturity I don’t currently have lol), can see myself revisiting it later in life!
2 years ago I started growing my hair out, and also discovered your channel...I COMPLETELY feel where you're coming from. Some days I really miss being able to style my shorter hair, but another part of me does not want to just abandon 2 years of invested hair growth!
I started growing my hair at the beginning of the Covid lockdown. I’ve followed your videos to get tips. I think at nearly two year, I’m finally feeling like I’m over that “awkward stage.” Love your videos. I also sent some pictures to your IG that document my growth.
I started growing my hair out almost 2 yrs back when i saw that you were growing your hair out too and I relate to everything you said in this video 100 percent. Great video
I’ve been growing my hair for 12 months now. I had a loose perm put in around 8 months and it helped massively. I can’t believe I’ve never had long hair before. Can’t see myself ever getting it cut and your vids have helped massively through the journey 👍
Haha great video man I’ve been growing my hair out since 2019 and it’s past the middle of my back and your right about having the right barber I have my own personal one myself keep growing it man my goal is to have it down to my behind 😂
After 2.5 years of growing it out, and exceeding my goal of growing it long, I finally took the hard decision to cut it. I'm still not sure if I'm doing the right thing or if I regret it 5 mins later, but I figured there's only one way to find out. I completely agree with the fact that long hair can become a part of your identity and taking the decision to get rid of it is hard as hell, but the moment I started doubting if I should keep it or not is when I scheduled my appointment to get it cut. This way I'll know for sure if I want it long or not...
@@kavan3 Well, I actually did get it cut and donated it! I cut it in a military buzz-cut style to be exact. At first I felt relieved and I actually loved how fast my hair would dry after washing it, and how I didn't need to style it, not to mention how my neck could breathe again it felt so good. I also got lots of compliments saying I looked better with short hair and that it suits me, only 2 of my friends said they would miss the long hair. A few months went by and I'd already got tired of the short hair real quick, so I decided to grow it out just a little so I can somewhat style it and change it up. That felt like too much work, so eventually I decided I wanted the best of both worlds, and my next goal was going to be a disconnected undercut and grow it out so I can tie the top part it in a bun (y'know that 2016 style). I'm currently in month 8 and I'm very close to making a small bun already! I'll probably get tired of it again at some point and will switch it up but until then I've been enjoying the experimenting I'm doing with it. Did I regret it? No. Would I grow it again in the future? Maybe. Yes there are times where I'll miss my long hair and want it back, but there are also times where I'll feel relieved I don't have it anymore (wearing hats for example) My advice is to go for it! Hair grows back (most of the time at least :P) we only got 1 life, if you start having doubts then that's it, you already have the answer as to whether or not you wanna change it. There's nothing wrong with experimenting now and again!
This video found me at the right time, and reading some of the comments here in the thread has inspired me to make this commitment to grow out! I'm about 6 months in, 6 more to go. Cheers family 🔥
The gym is a commitment too. A lot of work and eating right. So the long hair I guess is similar. And relationships. Anything you want in life that isn’t always easy can be work. But in the long run worth it if it brings you happiness.
The last point is really true. My parents didn’t like when I first started growing at my hair; but they were paying for my haircuts at the time and they were cool saving a couple hundred per year lol. Even now I just convince a friend or someone to just cut under a hairtie and we good
i have a long hair now, and i've grown my hair since the end of 2019. there are a few annoying things with having a long hair but what i hate the most is whenever im out and there's a wind, my hair would go all over the place😂
I’ve been growing mine out for a little over a year, it’s coming along but it’s a struggle. It’s hard to tame, at a awkward stage, I’ve also started to get some dandruff which I’ve never really had, so it’s high maintenance
My hair is hip length and creeping on classic. It’s a love/hate relationship for sure. It’s the washing/drying that annoys me the most. Drying might take an entire day during the hot summer. With that said I only wash my hair every 2-3 weeks.
They’re my favourite to make! If you ever watch any that I upload, please leave a comment on them - I find it super motivating to keep producing them if I know others enjoy to view them ☺️
i’d add recognizability, it’s easier to pinpoint you since you’re “the guy with long hair” also, people complimenting my hair & wanting to touch it is a plus haha, I think it’s because it’s in layers; only downside is when I tie my hair up i’m left with a spiky manbun
I have grown out my top hair for over 2 years now, such as it reaches almost my shoulders. As I have very voluminous hair, I had to take off the sides and back, otherwise I would end up with an Afro which looks like a wig on me. I've done that once for 1,5 years, so I know how it was. With this type of style I'm really fine and finally can say, I like my hair. And time saving is such a big factor. Just a few seconds and done :D + it really fits warm weather
I started watching your videos right as you starting growing your hair out 2 years ago and I did the same. Love my long hair. Love the videos. See you soon
I have long hair, sometimes I think about cutting it, but then I realize I am making a journey that many would like to try, but don't. I feel the long hair separates me 'from the pack' and gives me my own identity,. Why not blow dry it every now and then, yes a bit more prep time, but lots of variations. Trying tying it up in a lower position, You'll have a new look. Try not slicking it back, give the top and sides a bit of volume. Try some styles, beyond just letting it basically air dry or bun? It takes 2 seconds to cut, but years of patience to get to where you are. You have great hair, look, and personality, you're young you can get away with looking 'fun'. Many would like to be where you are, but don't have the nerve to pull it off. Doesn't sound like you're going to give in to cutting! And that's good! spend a bit of time on your hair, give yourself some new 'long' looks! Cheers!
After a year of growing out because of the pandemic, i decided to cut my hair off last year, and I regret ir sometimes. Now im starting this process again, im 5 months in, and for now on, maybe until november ill be on the awkard stage, but its fine, i have plenty of caps and hats, im ready for it! P.S, You Luca was the one that inspired me to keep growing hair, sorry i cutted off lmao
i was growing mine out during the pandemic and loved it most days but here in california its so hot, just did a buzzcut and honestly i like this more. thanks for the content Luca, more running videos soon??
Also I think you overstate the "awkward" stage. I think you even kinda talked about it before, but you did call it horrible here haha so I thought I'd comment. Even at medium length, the hair still looked pretty cool on you. I think the "awkward" stage, you just need to put more effort into styling it and focus on the process not so much the end goal as much. Medium haircut styles were and are getting more popular so you could just have a slightly grown out middle part, or slick it back, etc. Point is, theres ways to style the awkward stage, and growing your hair out is a process that you may not experience many times, enjoy and appreciate every step.
My hair is receding abit but I'm growing it out anyway. I've been using rosemary oil and my hairline hasn't gone any worse, I found a parting pull back technique that will hide the recession part of my head but also allow me to have a man bun which I always wanted so now I just need to literally grow it out long enough. People might say "well if you're losing hair on the hairline don't do it", I had the same hairline since literally 20 and nothing changed or came back. It's now or never. Will hopefully return to this video only to update my comment with good news about my desired hair progress.
I started growing my hair in 2019, got it quite long (between my shoulder blades) by spring 2021… I just decided to cut it gradually shorter and shorter and I don’t regret it. It was fun having long hair but I just know shorter hair is much better for my lifestyle
Yo luca, you ever tried to recreate some hairstyles that girls usually have now that your hair is long enough? like braids or half buns for instance. Would be cool to see how those hairstyles look on a man
i've been growing mine for 9 months now, and i can tie mine into a hyunjin ponytail. still tho, there are times i hate and love about my long hair but i still continue to adapt since this is my 3rd time growing my hair out and i don't when will be the next.
Me, a woman, cut my hair short again from finally getting it kinda long.. now I want long hair again. Don't give up guys,, it sucks knowing you have to go though it again...
Tbh I been growing my hair for a year from a buzzcut and what I have to say is that I never had a haircut that I have ever liked at all and I hate getting haircuts and I don’t feel comfortable with fades or anything like that. For me I feel more comfortable with how my hair is and with it getting longer, Yeha it might be a pain in the ass to deal with, but that’s how life works. And I wanna grow my hair like how long Luca has to donate it and to help somebody that would need it :D
I'm debating with myself if I should cut my hair which is so long, I grew it out for like 3 years now (not even trimmed it during all this time), but feeling like a change is needed. It's also so tedious to have really long hair..
2 years 3 months of long hair.. without any haircut or trim. My hair hasnt been touched by any barber since my last haircut in jan 2019 But finally booked an appointment with someone experience with long hair and is confident with what I want, so wish me luck!!!!🥵😅
Woah i'm quite surprised because i'm in the same case ! a bit over 2 years and not a single haircut ! Good luck buddy and i think you're gonna discover great ways to style your hair after this appointment
Haven't had a haircut in over 2 years, which is when i started growing them out... Gotta admit that i love having long hair but, mine look quite meh because i can't seem to find how to take care of them. My hair are thick and look dried, slightly frizzy. Can't find a way to style it, because it takes so much volume just a hour after the shower, and stays this way for days. I think it's time to ask a barber for tips.
I'm around the 8(ish) month mark now, it's taking time and I'm starting to get the "Why are you growing your hair/ you look... different/ why don't you get a haircut" comments. Hoping I can push pash this awkward stage soon lol... feels like it's taking forever but taking a pic every month for comparison helps me to realize it IS growing, just takes time. gotta stay committed!
I have been growing my hair for last 6 month's and I really want to grow my hair really long this time because, I have already tried before also ,for like 9 months and one time 10 month's but due to the fact that my hair falls when I grow them long I had to cut them but this time I have been watching your videos and maintained them real good and I'm using the right products for my hair this time and I hope this time I can grow them for real.
Long hair has positives and negatives sure. In my opinion more positives, so i should like my hair. But for some reason i just can't. I have like 1 day in every 2 weeks when i really like my hair (usually happens to be some of the wash days), but other than that, something about it just feels off. Whenever i look at the mirror, something just doesn't feel right. It's not that long hair doesn't suit me, in fact i think it does. Can't figure out why i feel this way. I really hope i will someday learn to like my hair like you did, because for a long time i've felt that long hair is me, and can't imagine getting rid of it anytime soon.
It's not fair to say that all you can do with long hair is wear it up or down. Lots of things you can do with "up" and "down". You never mentioned braiding (did I miss that, if you did?). You can have a messy or neat bun anywhere on your head. Start a pony tail at the nape of the neck or up at the occipital. Experiment with braids. I did corn rows for two weeks in Cancun and left them in another month when I got home. I can't imagine going back to anything shorter than bottom of shoulder blades anymore. The worst part of long hair is still better than the best part of short hair - whatever that may be for anyone.
Our school is not allowing long hair for our graduation photo and I'm going to get it cut because of it. I'm really nervous because I never had a haircut that I really liked, When I have shorter hair I only like it after maybe one month without a haircut.
Man I am so sick of frizz. I have probably the most frizzy hair in the world. It's fucking insane. I run my hand through the hair once and it immediately gains static charge, starts sticking to my face and just generally looking ridiculous (+ immediately starts tangling). And I always have this stupid wave on the back of my neck (like, normally hair curl outside, but sometimes it curls towards my neck). I've tried using conditioner, not shampooing, hair oil, blowdrying, airdrying, nothing works. Just some days it's better, some days it's worse. I guess it's just my dry hair... it's 100% worse if it's windy outside. However, I do enjoy it over my previous 30 years of the same undercut.
Ive been growing for 3 years, and i have loved my long hair for a while. But i feel like making a change and also my long hair is starting to annoy me. So i will be cutting it off by the end of the week
ive had long hair for 2 years now, I'm going to be cutting it short tomorrow purely because I'm interviewing for professional jobs :( going to definitely miss it, i enjoyed the way it looked and its simplicity of leaving it hang or tying it up, but I cant afford the slight disadvantage of having long hair for these jobs. definitely going to be an identity change but with time i should get use to it
I'm glad I'm over that phase already. I guess you're applying to starter positions. I definitely had my fair share of shitty managers who were asking me to shave and keep groomed hairstyle etc. Now with experience I don't give a fuck. I have a beard and growing long hair, and I straight up told my boss she can fire me if she wants but I will not shave. A year later I'm still there. When I look for a new job, I will only want to work at a place that respects my style and cares about my skills, not how long my hair is. Just food for thought. Don't give up your identity for a fucking opportunity for slave labour. The world wants you to become a submissive clone. Unless you're junior and it's necessary for you, then I understand... we all go through the phase
@@wrcz youre definetly right, I dont think my hair would even affect their decision, if it would that isn't the type of firm id like to work for. But your guess was right, i am at the junior level. later in my career i would definitely take your approach, if i can still retain my hair line :(
@@RUclipsMasterBoy21 the hair line thing is why I actually decided to start growing my hair out, I wanna see myself with long hair once before I go bald haha
saving money is real motivation for me, why would i need to go cut my hair every month when i can do it like twice a year and just remove the sideburns myself now and then
I had long hair and used to put it in a bun. But i cudnt bear the high maintenance. Especially as I got to gym 6 days a week and sweat heavy. After shower it takes 2 hours to air dry. Just lot of time wasted. It looked amazing sure. Now got a buzzcut.
I’m only 4 months in but i squires alot if length and I’m hating every minute of the awkwardness. But I’m not giving up. I don’t want to do it but I’m going to turn to head bands
in my case, I have an aunt that works as a hairdresser so it's for free and I love how she works, I think women perform a little better than some men working as hairdressers. of course, there are some men who are great at it but I prefer when taking care of my hair.
i had my long hair for two years and a half too and i cut it recently and now i regret to cut it cause i had that identity too so i get that point anyways I plan to let it grow again soo we’ll see in 2024 😅
Yes. I was in your stage to. That means your hair isn’t long enough. Firstly you wanna try growing it out more and it’ll look nicer. I had the same problem like you. Firstly you wanna damp your hair into water make it proper wet. Then once you did that middle part your hair. And the hair on your left blow dry it to the left and your hair on the right blow dry it on the right. Keep doing that then that should do the trick
Iv had long hair, Iv had short hair, Iv had no hair, messy hair, neat hair .. and at no point did I feel the need to record my thoughts on it like it is important , RUclips needs to sort out it’s recommendations
I've been growing my hair for about a year with a bit of trimming in between. It's barely past my chin and I'm starting to think it's time to give up on long, nice hair.
I've been growing my hair out for 1.5/2 years and im cutting it next week. I love having long hair, but my hair type is not the best for that style and it's so annoying at times.
Broo actually i am on my way to long hair but i dont have side burns and side beared sooo there is lot of difficulties is arriving. Its looks very weared si tell meee about this topic or olease make video as well
I relate to point #2 I cut my hair and after a week or so I began to tell myself why did I cut it what if I should had just left it how long would it have gotten by now
I grew mine out really long for about a year since my hair grows really fast. Then I decided to shave my head completely bald and start over on my hair. Long hair just isn't my thing. I might grow it out to do a disconnected undercut and I'll try that.
I have been growing my hair out for about 4 years now, with some trims in between but its still armpit length. I have recently been thinking about cutting it, but I am scared that shorter haircuts won't suit me. My hair is really soft, fine and straight so I am really contemplating on what to do. Long hair is easy and fun, but in the end I really want to experiment with shorter hair. Will I regret cutting 4 years of commitment?
What great comparison! 👏 I'm very happy to see that you like your long hair. I had a similar experience. When I grew my hair out, I couldn't wait to be a long haired guy. And some time after shoulder length, a friend of mine said "you have long hair, you have really long hair". That was when i realised that I was a long haired guy. And my image of myself shifted from "I am not happy because of what I don't have" to "I'm happy because of what I have". I hope you know what I mean 😆
Well, I just started to grow out my hair again and I had an experiment 2 years ago and I messed up very badly cuz I wanted long top and short sides and it went horrible and it was 3x harder to pass the awkward stage because and I couldn't endure growing sides again and I cut my hair, but I don't have any consistent hair style with short hair so I am not confident with my short hair. The thing you mentioned that having a consistent hair is what I crave most. I wanted to change and leave my past so I can be new myself. Thank you for your advices those are helping really really much. I just have a question, I am not a cap or beenie person and I can't wear those well so can you make a video for styling those kind of accessories to help passing the awkward stage. That video would help very much. Thank you again.
Yeah I agree, my hair is quite curly / wavy and I only really got an awkward stage for about a month in like 18 months growth. More the reason why I’m not too bothered about cutting it short again now

Buzzcut is hundred times more practical and easier for active living. Short hair is freedom, long hair makes you their slave.

Keep going man long hair forever 😎
Any follow up on your decision? Did you end up growing it back out or keeping it short
Same here brother 🥳
I’ve been growing my hair since 2019 I know the struggle it is to maintain it 😅
Used your hairstyle as a reference when I’ve been growing out long hair, thx
I regret cutting my 1 and half year long hair , and now my hair is road to 2 year , commitment is the key 👌
Sorry for my English
same man, mine was 1 year and 5 months long. now it is 8 months long
Luca your patience is very appreciated 😂 I myself struggling lol
I’ve only been growing my hair out for about a year and YES the wind is absolutely annoy
omfg thats the most annoying shit to deal with or when you use chapstick and your hair gets stuck to ur lips
I’ve been growing mine out for a little over a year, it’s coming along but it’s a struggle. It’s hard to tame, at a awkward stage, I’ve also started to get some dandruff which I’ve never really had, so it’s high maintenance
I used to had long hair like 6 years ago, cut it and let grow again in the pandemics, now i just cut it over again, love any stages of my life
My hair is hip length and creeping on classic. It’s a love/hate relationship for sure.
It’s the washing/drying that annoys me the most. Drying might take an entire day during the hot summer. With that said I only wash my hair every 2-3 weeks.
You should make more vlogs/lifestyle. I know they get less views but they are fun to watch.
They’re my favourite to make! If you ever watch any that I upload, please leave a comment on them - I find it super motivating to keep producing them if I know others enjoy to view them ☺️
been waiting for this video for a long time
i’d add recognizability, it’s easier to pinpoint you since you’re “the guy with long hair”
also, people complimenting my hair & wanting to touch it is a plus haha, I think it’s because it’s in layers; only downside is when I tie my hair up i’m left with a spiky manbun
The best thing about long hair is that it is so much fun
Big fan ,man !
Oh dude! Sorry to hear you ended up regretting it. At least you now know you want to fully commit to growing it out! Best of luck with the journey 🤗
i was growing mine out during the pandemic and loved it most days but here in california its so hot, just did a buzzcut and honestly i like this more. thanks for the content Luca, more running videos soon??
I started growing my hair 3 months ago and love it trying to get to 8 months as my ultimate goal
this is pretty cool seeing this video pop up on my recommended, i made a vid abt long hair on my channel like a few weeks ago
On 3 may my hair will be 2 year grown from shaved head and now it has become part of my identity
Very helpful videos - researching for my 16 year old who is in the awkward stages of growing out his thick hair.
I remember watching your videos when my hair was about an inch long. Now it goes down past my chin. Time flies!
Would be cool to see how those hairstyles look on a man
I would be curious to see a video about how to prolong your wash cycle. Man bun, dry shampoo, any other techniques?
i've been growing mine for 9 months now, and i can tie mine into a hyunjin ponytail. still tho, there are times i hate and love about my long hair but i still continue to adapt since this is my 3rd time growing my hair out and i don't when will be the next.
vice city in the background, good taste
I cut mine a few weeks ago after maybe 7 months, absolutely regret it. Gonna hop back on the journey lol
Me, a woman, cut my hair short again from finally getting it kinda long.. now I want long hair again. Don't give up guys,, it sucks knowing you have to go though it again...
I hve been growing my hairs since Jan 2020❤️❤️
0:08 His hair length in this is right about where I'm at, maybe a bit longer.. I'm so close hahah
Shoulder-length curly hair is both a curse and a blessing.
Goal light post light has a rubber ducky!! Kneel please...
I grew my hair for 6 months then cut real short and i love the short more but i love seeing long hair
I'm now at awkward stage but this time I'm gonna stay with my commitment ... I have been cutting my hair for the past three time during awkward stage💔
2 years 3 months of long hair.. without any haircut or trim. My hair hasnt been touched by any barber since my last haircut in jan 2019
But finally booked an appointment with someone experience with long hair and is confident with what I want, so wish me luck!!!!🥵😅
Your hair may just be curly and it needs special care. Try curly girl method, it kinda worked out for me
I'm around the 8(ish) month mark now, it's taking time and I'm starting to get the "Why are you growing your hair/ you look... different/ why don't you get a haircut" comments. Hoping I can push pash this awkward stage soon lol... feels like it's taking forever but taking a pic every month for comparison helps me to realize it IS growing, just takes time. gotta stay committed!
I have an emotional attachment with my long hair now that even if I want to cut it, i just can't! HUHUHU
I'm at 7 months growth now. Planning to grow it out for 2 years
Hey Luca, have you ever thought of going into presenting? I think you'd make a good TV presenter-- you are very calming but also naturally funny
Background music vice city 🌟 nice music choice 👌
Goal light post light has a rubber ducky!! Kneel please..
Yeah I love my long hair like you said I don’t think I can go back
@superheros rule Well it’s definitely a commitment it doesn’t look good at all at the beginning but I’ve had it now for like two years
@superheros rule Just go for it dude I just keep mine down but you do you
Long hair has positives and negatives sure.
But having long hair I've saved tons of money 💰 and always outstands, I love that
Im a year and a half in from a buzz cut and im biting on my bangs 🤣
2:21 That’s why you have to go to the hair salon instead and be very strict/specific.
Ive been growing for 3 years, and i have loved my long hair for a while. But i feel like making a change and also my long hair is starting to annoy me. So i will be cutting it off by the end of the week
What is i have a more “private barber” like not a mall barber but a barber that has a private salon in his house ?
Can you do a tutorial on how best to tie your hair up? Thanks
ive had long hair for 2 years now, I'm going to be cutting it short tomorrow purely because I'm interviewing for professional jobs :( going to definitely miss it, i enjoyed the way it looked and its simplicity of leaving it hang or tying it up, but I cant afford the slight disadvantage of having long hair for these jobs. definitely going to be an identity change but with time i should get use to it
I'm glad I'm over that phase already.
Now got a buzzcut.
what should i ask my barber to do in a salon to maintain my long hair?
I’m only 4 months in but i squires alot if length and I’m hating every minute of the awkwardness. But I’m not giving up. I don’t want to do it but I’m going to turn to head bands
in my case, I have an aunt that works as a hairdresser so it's for free and I love how she works, I think women perform a little better than some men working as hairdressers. of course, there are some men who are great at it but I prefer when taking care of my hair.
i had my long hair for two years and a half too and i cut it recently and now i regret to cut it cause i had that identity too so i get that point anyways I plan to let it grow again soo we’ll see in 2024 😅
on my 3rd attempt at trying to grow long hair😅the tops at 8inches but the sides are short, youve either got patience or you don’t and I don’t c:
Bruh my hair is in my face like constantly i look like I’m emo any help?
I literally appreciate u r contant ✨
Love from India ❤️
What is a disconnect undercut
Bro… I love you
Could you please do a video if you have back acne from this hair style and how to deal with it?
Can you get a Zayn Malik Hairstyle?
I have been growing my hair out for about 4 years now, with some trims in between but its still armpit length. I have recently been thinking about cutting it, but I am scared that shorter haircuts won't suit me. My hair is really soft, fine and straight so I am really contemplating on what to do. Long hair is easy and fun, but in the end I really want to experiment with shorter hair. Will I regret cutting 4 years of commitment?
Can you make a video on hair care and how to get hairs like yours..pls
hair review - IS IT WORTHI IT!??
Thank you again.
i think with curly hair there is not a big awkward stage. what do you guys think?
Yeah I agree, my hair is quite curly / wavy and I only really got an awkward stage for about a month in like 18 months growth. More the reason why I’m not too bothered about cutting it short again now
