    From an NRI: When you have lots of money, u can buy a lot of things. Change a lot of things, but only within your home. You cannot change society, their thinking, their mindset, and that is the biggest problem in India as you have rightly mentioned.

      @@Sample-Alok-RUclips No, that's not how foreigners think. If that was the case, then none of the Indian could have become CEOs of big companies or ever get any high positions in foreign countries. In foreign countries, you are respected for your skills/talent, no matter what your skin color is. Money is not a reason in rich foreign countries to be jealous against anybody. Not only the reason of HN but also social security is at stake in India. it's challenging to roam on streets without being bullied by gunda, arrogant, jealous type of unknown people no matter if you are HN or not. Also the infrastructure is badly shaped in populated country like us which gives birth to problems like parking issues, minor accidents, fighting, abusing, long queues, manhandling, manual tasks at gov offices leading to rampant corruption, bullying etc.

    1. Jealousy from relatives/ friends, no interference from them
    2. Kalesh in family as Guruji mentioned
    3. Even though tax is high abroad, you end up saving a good amount of money every month and you get good ammenties from govt in lieu of them (Free medical/ education etc.)

    5. Peace of mind
    6. Clean air and no/ less pollution

    NRI....very thoughtful. When a country goes from abject poverty, socialist governance to one of the world's top 5 economies in just 3 decades, people's mindset, and social values dont change.
    Some people will be highly successful and the rest so so...this creates tension. Those relatives, including some family members, burn in jealousy (especially if their children dont do well) doing hateful actions like cursing, bad mouthing, back biting, black magic, etc. They even spread rumors, lies, and "tell all" gossip. That's why HNIs who can't leave india at least move to Bangalore.

Some just feel insecure, scared for no reasons although you are not competition with them or but only with yourselves. • @prvinsharma
    @prvinsharma 10 месяцев назад +13

    Partly true. It is the side-effect of getting rich and known. The HNIs do find it awkward that they can't find similar groups to blend with. When we pay tax and when we pay high tax, we want basic facilities from government like good infra and a better balance in life. Else it will only bring in more suffering. As a high tax payer we do not get anything in return. Then there are so many who do not pay income taxes at all.
    Just look at the conditions of railways and even flights. Railways are so dirty that it is more a bane than a boon. But for a general public it is a boon.
    Then there are people who buy BMWs... Do they apply breaks or accelerator more often? Road conditions are so bad and so is the traffic condition.
    The list goes on...
    I have been to UK and see a drastic difference in life style. With money should come our personal growth and that is missing after a certain stage in our nation.

      @prvinsharma 10 месяцев назад

      Today I'm hearing record number of HNIs leaving our country. This is bound to happen. Leave HNIs even intellects who are skilled want to leave and settle outside our country. I am still not one of them as I'm very sentimental and prize family and community over money and luxury. Maybe I'm wrong and stupid but that is elemental of me and I can't depart from me!

    In Indian cities mainly people coming from small and remote towns they work hard and able to buy homes or settle in cities but their mindset is still small town. may people here not able to make money as either they are not qualified or doing business or have mindset to do something in life. When they see some one doing far better than them they feel small and jealous. Its obvious on road, market, malls. When some one is dressed well and buying something immediately prices are told double in high end 3 BHK society. Plumbers, electricians, house keeping start asking more money, vegetable vendor also doubles price just looking at person.
    Agree 100% there is a jelousy in people when they see some one better with clothing, house and car.
    In society meeting 2 bhk people not ready to share security or hosukeeping charges equally even number of people staying same in flats. They ask pay more just because one room is more.
    India is going through very diffrent phase where frustration in lower class is increasing which results in violence, road rage, cheating.
    You have presented very valid topic.

      In reality, in our country and society Aartha is bad, kama is chichi thing, Dharma is paap you have to be secular, Moksha -dimag nam ki chiz hai? Aise kaise chor du, sapne kam dekha kar, humari haddiya gal gyi pai pai kamate tu sab luta de.

    NRI here- sadly even parents are jealous of their kids. My parents specially mom who was always proud of how she made her home over the years, nothing wrong in that. But she can’t digest that her son can buy everything in a day that took her 30 years. She always talks like , we don’t use public transport for short distance, we bargain a lot, we save money, but tge fact is they don’t have any significant property or something which is bought by such savings.
    Now i have money and try to live comfortable life, but she doesn’t like that. She thinks that we should live how they lived their life.

Dangerous to walk, on the mercy of rash drivers. Politicians just blame the people who occupy footpath, ideally politicians need to provide empty space and register footpath vendors. Also provide dedicated space and paid parking for two wheelers away from footpath.
    Old/young people die early because of lack of walkability

    NRI I have live abroad since last 35 years, Humans are humans no matter where they live. People complain about everything but in India’s case main reason is quality of life (pollution, unhygienic, quality of food etc) esp in the big cities and that is due to a big population. Due to Big population people are competing over everything be it schools, jobs, housing etc etc . This competition is affecting the mentality. It is a dog eat dog world. Survival for the fittest mentality. People mindset is how i can use the other person for my own benefit. It has become a part of the psyche now. Abroad people keep to themselves, less population and enough resources to go around. We seriously need to reduce our population otherwise it will only get worst.

People didn’t hear me out, they didn’t understand what i was saying. Friends and relatives wanted to stay comfortable and didn’t have any aspirations in life. It made people to flourish very difficult. All that made me so angry and frustrated that i set my mind to leave the country and settle abroad. And I have achieved all that in 5 years. The only difference is - people feel these more in developing country like India than materially developed countries, so they go there. But the time has come they will feel these more in developed countries - then what will they do?
