I just turned 35 and was accepted into Unisa Diploma in law, I am super excited. Your video just reminded me that I am on the right path. And yes I am defs in it for the money as well, lol. Thanks for sharing.
@@bellaquinn9354 I went back to law school late and time passes no matter what you do. I knew someone who went back in their 40’s and in 3 years they’ll be 43 so they can either be 43 without a law degree or 43 with a law degree. Also don’t let society brainwash you into thinking you’re old, I stopped feeling this way when so many 60 somethings would tell me how they’d love to be 30 or even 40 again. Our generation will live to be nearly 100, under 50 is still so young. Live your life and get that degree!
Congrats! I went back to law school late from taking breaks in between and people change their careers even in their 40s and 50s, time is so relative but time passes no matter what you do. You either have a law degree or without one in the next few years. Life is what you make it and you are only as old as you feel.
oh my gosh this comment😢❤ I'm turning 33 this year , stay at home mum and I felt it's too late but deep down I want a degree! thank you for the motivation!
Omg That whole 28 and 32 years spoke to me. Because Im literally in that battle.I'm 28 and I'm thinking about this, time, money, starting over as Candidate attorney or the Prosecutor training thingy. I've just accepted the offer and now about to register. Completed my Bachelor's and Honours in Management at UJ. I'm used to Lectures, tutorials and all that academic support. My main drive for going for LLB is becoming Prosecutor and later Magistrate. I hope I achieve this.
I love this...I'm 33 and doing an LLB degree as my second degree, no plans to litigate too but it will really be helpful in the field I am currently working in now. All the best to everyone on their study journeys!!!!
I also went back to law school late after taking many breaks in between and being all over the place I’m now in my 30’s with 2 law degrees and currently qualifying in the LPC and joint masters in international commercial law. I love what you said that you’re gonna be 32 no matter what you do, I always said similar to people that time passes no matter what you do so you either come out with a degree or without one! Time is also so relative, so many people change their careers halfway through their life at 50! Most people who graduate law don’t even become lawyers, only a small minority of people I graduated with actually went into law. Also law is something you can grow into, you don’t age out of law like other professions! I can’t tell you how many 50-60 year olds tell me they wish they could be 30 again cus it was so young and they didn’t realise it until they hit 60…society has brainwashed us into thinking anything over 25 is old which is ridiculous….we live to be nearly 100 now and youth is truly in your lifestyle and your health. I know so many 20 somethings who look haggard and plagued with health issues and there’s 45 year olds who are vibrant, look younger and no health issues. It’s truly all relative. Don’t let stupid society’s concept of age deter you from your dreams.
" I want to do something challenging" that was also me before applying for LLB😅 but it's really interesting solving problems that happen on a daily and it covers almost everything 😌🔥🔥
I'm also a unisa law student, in my 3rd year and i chose law because it's such a broad field. I have no desire at all to litigate, #andizi #givemezeromem 😂😂 I'm very aggressive when arguing, i would probably throw documents at them and leave.
Hey babe! Thank you so much for this video. I’m in my final year of law(diploma) and it’s been such a hard journey but I’ve persevered. 🥺 I will further my studies and pursue my LLB( by the Grace of God), I’m a very sensitive individual but I’m constantly learning how put those emotions aside when it comes to law. If it’s not much of a hassle, may you please do a video on tips that would help us stay disciplined while studying an LLB at Unisa, eg, study tips, time management and excelling in your assignments, how to prepare for exams etc. 🥺💛
Omg ! Thank you for this detailed reply ! I will do exactly that . Please hold on. You’re almost there and you will push through! All the best with your finals ! ❤️❤️
Great video, eloquence and background. Well, for me this is my second degree, working-hard to be a Patent Attorney. In high school I had a fuse of passion for Science and Law, I didn't know that these two could become one. I learnt in my Btech that Biotechnology can go hand in hand with Law (Patent Law). I am so happy I am following both my passions. Being a Class Rep really triggered my passion for representing others and negotiating.
Hey beautiful thank you so much for the video. I am 30 and will start my law degree this new year. You’re very inspiring!
