      Otherwise, you have the 4th option to pursue a law degree after having obtained an undergrad degree in any field. E.g you do a BA or Bed or Bcom for 3 years then graduate and then register for a postgrad law degree which is 3 years.

      It depends with the institution and advise you actually go through the programmes. You can major in Accounting, Marketing, Human Resources, Insurance and Risk, Management, Investment etc, while taking your compulsory law courses. In the first year your modules are selected for you. From Second year you get to select your commercial courses and the law modules are still pre-selected by the institution. In your third year you must choose a major subject from the commercial courses you selected in second year. I hope I answered your question.

    • @khensaniclaudia
      @khensaniclaudia  2 года назад +1

      Hi Blessing
      If you intend on practicing law, you need an LLB degree. Medical law is either an elective module or prescribed module (depending on the University) that you must take as part of your LLB degree. With a Bcom Law degree (without completeting a 2 year LLB), you won't be able to practice law. You can do Bcom Law related work like work for an insurance company (example). Please let me know if that addresses your question

      Hi Melonie, there's no need to know at this point in time about what to specialise in as you are being introduced into law in the LLB programme. You will figure out what you really like in your studies and will have an idea by the time you choose your electives. Specialising, really, only starts after your admission as an attorney. @@melonie_peppers Hi Melonie, it depends on your plans. You can find sufficient work with just an LLB, you are just limited in terms of how far up you can go.
