A true "Shinobi" master player, pulling all the stops to make sure not one shuriken is thrown out of order and out of place. That's what I like to see in this game.
I've done playthroughs of Shadow Dancer with No Shurikens (maybe even on hardest, yeah, I believe so). Never really got into trying 'No Shurikens' on this one. Cool to see it's possible.
Awesome run man! Now you need to practice doing it without Ninja Magic while not using shurikens or dying. I can do all stages that way except for level 3 boss… I still use magic to jump into the stack of spinning heads but I’ve seen it done without magic from a person named Ben on here. Also you can use the 256 shurikens trick to get the 20,000 bonus on boss stages 2,3 and 4. You just got to count it perfectly where you throw exactly 256 Shurikens and it resets the counter to zero. Ben has a video on here showing it done when he got the world record for most points on the game.
Also I forgot to mention that I haven’t done this on setting enemies to shoot fast… I just leave that setting at normal speed but put difficulty setting at hardest. I’ll have to practice it on fast setting but I’d imagine it will take me some time to get the timing down because I’m so use to doing it with normal speed setting. Lol I might have to use Magic myself to get through some of those areas. 🤠
I wouldn’t doubt that because this game had so many trademark infringements like using Spider-Man and the Marilyn Monroe pics they had to take out on the Arcade Archives version. I believe Shinobi 2 also had Spider-Man, Batman, Godzilla and some other enemy characters they had to take out on the newer versions.

Try it with Ninja Magic as the boss starts to jump… the Ninja Magic will kill him when he’s at the highest point in the air. I get about 67,000 points doing it. The key is to kill him at the highest point in the air so it takes him longer to hit the ground so the points will increase more.
@@BIGgamez78 No, no shuriken no special ...i used to do it back in the day. I get 5k points, except helicopter, mandara, the samurai. But last boss i would do him no shuriken.
