The sound at the show was really good. Inwas 2nd balcony and all the way to the left...usually a shit sound in other venues...but the sound was very good.
They use AxeFx Modeling amps now. Those amps on stage are set dressing and turned on but not mic’d at all. I think the guitars sound fine but it’s not real amps anymore. Just sound-alike presets.
With the exception of Lars, this was a very admirable performance of some old songs that actually sounded a hell of a lot better than they have in recent years. As for Lars, what can you say......it's just Lars doing his very lackluster best.

Yes! Finally real amps and not shitty modelling amps. You can definitely hear the difference. Amazing sound!

Of all the songs they’ve shortened over the years, I think No Remorse suffered the most. It was such a treat to see them play it in all its glory!
