I wanted to take a moment to thank you for making this video. We traveled from Las Vegas to the Azores specifically because of this video. Words can't describe how beautiful and amazing Flores Island is. We were blown away by it. The 20 min hike to the falls was tough but it was so worth it. We thought now we know why you was sweating during that hike..lol. By the way Mystic Tours is a great option we used. She did an amazing job of showing us Flores. She was so sweet and nice. Thank you again. It was a trip of a lifetime.

hey, so my girlfriend is form Flores and we just stumbled upon this video and I am so excited that she is is excited to tell me things aboutt her island through your video. HOWEVER I got to realise that half of the things you told about this video is partially misinterpreted and wrong. I have never seen my girlfriend being so critical about things but this was one hell of a critical commentary which also made me realise new things about my gf.

I was in the beginning of october for the first time in Flores Island, to discover a paradise and I can say that it is the most beautiful island of all the Azores

As an Azorean living now in Canada I left the Azores (São Miguel island) when I was about 6 y.o. I am now 54. I went back to the Azores about 5 years ago. I was a-m-a-z-e-d. Absolutely beautiful and so, so, so, clean and beautiful shades natural green everywhere and the scenery was amazing. If you want natural beauty and a quiet, calm, stressless vacation with natural hot springs you can bathe in and are into serenity and peace, then the Azores is your destination. I have been longing to go back.

@@viti_ontour Naturally I don't know your background but I think it would be a nice touch to say what brought you to doing this travel and sharing it all with us. I found you because I am retiring shortly and visiting the Azores is my first thing I will be doing. Also because of you I have to see as many of the islands I can. I agree with you, they seem so different, at least through your lens it does. I will know more in May of next year when I retire. Thanks for sharing. Thank you for the amazing content of the islands of Acores! My parents are from Sao Miguel and love the island and can't wait to go back. I do have to say that I was a bit shocked to see all of those trees cut down in Flores. I believe the Acores tries to maintain it's natural beauty, so this was a shocker! i just watched all of your Azores series and I loved them all but Flores - that was utterly amazing - my version of paradise! I just wanted to say, I have a huge amount of respect for you, you are a real professional in terms of camera work which is awesome, not only the drone stuff but the whole staging and clearly the preparation. You delivery is incredible and you deserve so many views/subscribers than what you get. I really hope this works for you - you really deserve it. One question, where did you stay on Flores?

This "cut down" forest was the result of hurricane Lorenzo... a small Tornado broke down all this trees. The remaining wood is cut down to clear the area.

Is it easy to Rent a Car or do it online before arriving there? I visited sao Miguel This summer, there it was Quite easy to organize.
For next year, i am planning to visit more of the Azores. Maybe Flores with a daytrip to Corvo, and then next to another Island.

Thank you! Im glad you enjoyed the video. Renting a car was relatively easy, however id recommend booking in advance as there is less selection as compared to São Miguel. Enjoy your trip! You will be up for a treat!
