When it comes to using these things in the field, the Husqvarna 525BX is the best performing when it comes to actually blowing leaves and debris! Just my opinion after 25 years in the business!!!

Nice comparison. The Ego gear is looking really good. Be interested to see what the longevity is like from every day use.

Thanks mate. The other Ego gear we use daily is going strong, no dramas at all.

Thanks mate. Yeah it’s basically impossible to keep the kids out of the videos 😆 the 525BX is a good blower I only got it recently along with the 525 LST whippy to see how they compare to my trusty Stihl BG86 and FS94 RC. Will post a comparison video of them soon 👍🏻

Great review Im testing some Stihl battery gear at the moment Im enjoying the FSA 90 R Trimmer

Cheers Ray 👍🏻 I found that trimmer to be too heavy at the head end with the motor down there and the smaller cutting diameter wasn’t great. I much prefer the FSA130r and the Husky trimmer.

It’s a bloody good blower mate and yes the Ego is expensive! 👍🏻

Would you say the new ego commercial and the BGA100 are fairly similar? They do look identical from a design point of view.

Hi Ramon, yes they are very similar mate. Build quality, power, weight and ergonomics. The Ego is slightly more powerful on boost mode which you’d want to be running in 99% of the time as there is a considerable difference in boost mode and high mode, high mode isn’t very powerful. The Stihl has more power in standard high setting and not quite as much in boost mode, if that makes sense. This means I can run the Stihl in high mode and occasionally use the boost mode when needed, whereas the Ego I’m always wanting boost mode. That’s the thing I’ve found with a lot of these blowers. All the manufacturers claim numbers like 600cfm or 18N which they might all do in boost mode for a short time but in standard high running mode which is what you generally use, it’s nowhere near the stated headline figures with some of them. Cheers
