Hospitality takes center stage when a Victorian ballroom gets a modern makeover, and Darius spends time with his new neighbors enjoying Charleston's famous sweet tea along with some really beautiful and unique accessories.
About Rucker's Reno:
Darius Rucker is transforming a historical mansion in downtown Charleston from a vacant city landmark with a checkered past, into a modern treasure for his family to enjoy for years to come. Rucker’s Reno stares history in the face, but takes a unifying, positive approach to the way America has evolved socially and culturally through the lens of home design.

This is a stunning makeover. Darius - I wish you lots of love and happiness in this house
Wonderful to see a grand old dame being restored to fit the times. We know the neighborhood we stayed in the Rutledge House. Can't wait to see the rest of the reno!
I love this series. It was so cool to see him stop by a local business. How amazing is that to have Darius Rucker walk into you place of business and love your work! Darius is the Coolest! OMG That was so cool that Darius helped them open their store. I love it!
Thoroughly enjoyed Rucker's Reno, the series consists of an exciting variety from historical to modern makeup. Hated to see it end. Come back Darius!😂
Thanks for watching, Ve!
I really hope there is more to come on this series. The love for Charleston, its people and architecture is infectious. Keep these coming!!!
Thanks for watching, and yes! There's more to come ... new episodes Mondays at 8/7c. Hope you love them as much as we do!
Gorgeous home!
I really love seeing the renovations and interior design reveal one fabulous room at a time!
Darius has the best laugh!
We got married in Charleston almost 6yrs ago, it's our fav place to be! Ideally we'd want to settle there but work has us stuck in Raleigh, NC for now. Me as a descent of enslaved people who ended up in Suriname Sout America, the city of Charleston felt like home since the first day I set foot there. I can't tell you why, but it felt familiar! Love these episodes!
I’m loving this series. What an amazing house and I’ve always been a fan of Darius. Charleston has been on my vacation bucket list and now even more so.
Second video I have watched, what a beautiful house. Great to hear some history about the architecture and see how the house is being brought back to life.
I really regret never have been in that beautiful town of Charleston. Have been at east and west coast, as well as at Lake Tahoe. But missed to travel through the South. What a pity and what a loss for me personally.
This beautiful old house is awesome but honestly I loved the original wall colors and the wooden floor in its original state a bit more. But nevertheless, it is beautiful. Love to watch how grounded Darius still is and that he shares his live with us in that way. Such a lovely man(character)
Beautiful
Wow, Beautiful house. Cliffhanger. I’m looking forward to the next episode 💕💕
Good to see our "Boys from Akron", and nice of Darius to help out their business! And oh yeah the house is beautiful too.!
I miss my Beautiful Southern Hometown and it’s” breathtaking beauty and Southern Hospitality!!! So proud to be a “Real Southern Belle!” My roots and footprints remain on those beautiful cobblestone streets I walked and actually scorched my feet on so many times when I was a child! My heart carries Charleston with me everywhere I go! “Oh, did someone mention Sweet Ice Tea…? If you are from Charleston, SC…? Sweet Ice Tea is the addiction you just can’t live without no matter where you go!!! Thanks for Sharing Darius! I miss seeing you in the Deep South! We can hardly wait to be seeing you again this Fall in Las Vegas!
Oh Darius, What a priviledge to be able to renovate this home for you and your family. The only downside for me, is that it has made me miss Charleston more! I used to walk the shops on King and Queen streets. The shop keepers were so friendly and gave me their time and suggestions, even an occasional tea! There is no place like Charleston, South Carolina!
Yay! Another one. 👏 I loved the first episode. This one didn’t disappoint. Beautiful job.
I loved the brother’s shop. Excited to check out their work.
C'est fait rêver ! Voilà un homme qui a une vie musicale réussie ! Chapeau bas monsieur darius ! Je ne comprends pas la vidéo ! Les images sont magnifiques ! Katy trules de l'île de la Réunion ! French ! 🖐👍👍👍👍🙏😘
I just returned from a trip to Charleston! What a wonderful city. I wish I had seem some of these videos before I went!
This is such a gorgeous home and I love it 😀
Beautiful work. The room looks comfortable and I don’t normally like modern elements/aesthetics
Absolute Masterpiece❤
I love this and can’t wait for the finale. 😍😍😍😍❤️❤️❤️❤️
This is so exciting. I am a big fan of your music. I love and watch all the videos of Charleston historical homes so these two together are a happy meal. 🤭 Beautiful home. What a blessing. Can't wait to see the finished project. Update..
It's BEAUTIFUL!!! 🌴🧡🌴
wow so beautiful its the best that i have ever seen well done its awesome Darius i really love seeing it
Darius has a show!!!! Cool
❤😊
❤❤❤
Beautiful results!
Very nice. I wish the powder room's oak was not finished as flat as the marble floor though, and a marble backsplash would keep the wall behind the sink looking great for years. Those faucets appear too close to the wall. With all the antiques available, I don't understand the painted mud room cabinet--almost a builtin unit, but not. And as far as a drop zone, there's storage, but nothing to set anything on when your hands are full. The LR curtains cover too much of the window mouldings, the seating was limited, and the brief did include a TV. B+
I'm loving it ❤️❤️
I’m moving in lol
Im going crazy trying to find the name of the paint color in the mud room! Help!
I just wish the hardware on the doors was antique brass not so bright and shiny gold.
Verdigris is a pretty finish.
So she is saying that she knows how the slaves made the teas????? Hmmmm
