Another invaluable interview! I had been wondering why we have two institutions in this industry. In the US, SEC, is an independent and very autonomeous government commission that regulates the securities industry. I thought ESX was like SEC. Now, I see that EMA does the regulation, and ESX does the exchange part. Hopefully, ESX succeeds, evolves, and goes public...

corruption, political instability, risk of economic down turn, inside info. lack of transparency, ,,,, the list continues are why stock market cant work in Ethiopia. Bankers can advocate for it because they get payed while spending investors money.
