It makes a good hand me down radio. I like to keep spares of radios. When I show someone FPV and they seem somewhat interested, giving them a radio is enough to draw them into the hobby. Suddenly they can play simulators and connect to quads. So yea, I may get this as a spare transmitter with the hope of adding someone else to the hobby. :D
For someone who just wants to fly just for fun, I don't see why this wouldn't be a good controller even for someone who has been flying for a while and just wants to keep it simple. How many switches and options does a quad pilot really need anyway?!
I've improved the BetaFPV LiteRadio 3 switches using "PERPETUAL MOTION ULTRA LITE BALL BEARING OIL" Now all the switches, especially the 3-position ones are clicking snappier better than original mushy feel. Basically the plastics were rubbing against one another. External application only.
Hows it going man I am wanting to get into elrs when it first debuted I was absolutely puzzled with all the flashing and firmware changes but now it seems to be getting alot easier to use I was wondering what the output power of the internal elrs has? Yo yo, can you please help me get my Flywoo firefly elrs to bind to my Lite 3 with external. I spent like 4 hours messing with betaflight, Elrs configurator, and BetaFpv configurator. I guess im just too stupid. I got the firefly elrs firmeware updated im pretty sure but I cant figure out how to get the bind phrase saved to the Lite 3. Any help much appreciated, sorry to bother but you're one of the only peeps that make it easy for me to understand. Side note: if by ATX you mean Texas, hit me up and lets do some flying together.
Got screwed with the v2 lite (gimbals). Got screwed with elrs aio v1 (not compatible with bf 4.3). Got screwed with 1104 motors ( bad bearings). I am done with betafpv 😑

I'm glad the sticks are swappable. I refuse to fly with any controller that i can't swap out for my custom 3D printed LOTR two tower replica sticks.
I just got this in a kit. Im a beginner but I was actually impressed with the feel. I was expecting a crappy plastic feel. This plastic feels good.

I opened the radio and buffed the points of contact, and it's helping well, like your oil I think.

I cannot get this damn controller to bind to anything...I've tried everything...only works in betafpv

It works fine till the switches start sticking and gimbles start dragging. Thats after 3 months use.
Not compatible when pairing frsky D8. Stay away if flying D8.
