Props to you for your craft. Insane amount of work and skill. 👏🏼
Love it. This is a great idea to use on a wigs that you don't really wear much but still want to get use out of them.
Very Nice! I use a steamer in my work. I also take the curling iron to curl hair but using the iron only to hold the hair in place while I steam it to shape. Of course using a curling iron while it's on will melt the hair. Using the iron to hold the hair around the iron while you steam it works well for touch up curling. I never thought to wrap foil around a curling iron! I'm a "steamer man". :) An old dog can learn new tricks!
Hi Tat, thanks for your lovely comment! Yeah I definitly need a steamer... saw some other wig stylists using them. Seems to be a nice method.
You are such an incredible talent and I love what you did with this wig. I am going to check out any other videos you’ve done because I enjoyed watching you create. Thank you for sharing.
BLESS YOU FOR SHOWING US THE PROCESS!
Du bist echt der Knaller! Wow! 💙
+Cira Las Vegas Danke dir
Beautiful! Interesting to see how to do such incredible work! Thanks for sharing!
Thanks for your lovely comment :D
i absolutely love this wig you are so amazing you work so hard and it really shows!!
Aw thank you :D
...I need this. I need this in my life now. That is crazy amazing!
Thank you :D
wow SUPER GORGEOUS
Thank you :3
Looks amazing, I'm going to have a go following your method, thanks so much for sharing 💜
When you put the roller tubes with the hair into the pan, is that just boiling water in the pan?
@@janegraneek Just under boiling but hot enough to set the curl. Just as heat is important for the initial manipulation of the hair fiber, so is cooling to allow the plastic to harden. Make sure it is completely cooled before removing from the curlers.
Wow! Thats amazing!
@JakCosplay Love this so much! Goin to try a version of this later this month. I have the Arda Matilda in Dark Green, and was wondering what I could purchase in America, that would be close enough to what you have, to make the base.
Ohh thats a good question, I just bought some isolation foam from a local tool shop. I think you have a simular product in your country too. These plates are usually used to isulate walls of houses, the pink ones are even better cause their stucture is really fine...
Stunning!!!
Wowowowo that's incredible 💖💖💖💖
Helped me a lot to to put a bun in my characters wig! ^^
Hi @JakCosplay. love your wig! Question: how high is the "bun" that you've put in the wig? I want to try and make this for carnaval.
Hi Ruth... Probably about 15-18cm high :D
I am so glad I clicked on this video, like OMFG so stunning!!! That trick with the aluminum foil is GENIUS, surprised I haven't seen that method before. Does it work with a standard clamp curling iron?
Hi Jacob, thank you for your lovely comment! I think you can use a clamp curling iron too, but a curling wand is probably easier, especially the one I am using because of the shape... Its easier to remove the aluminum foil.
WOW!!! I found this by accident and am soo glad I did! I am going to use your technique for my halloween wig. I am in America. I tried to find the foam, but do not know what it is called. What type of foam is it, so I may try to duplicate it here, please :) Thanks so much!
Leslie Spaggiari it’s insulation foam like they have big sheets of it a Home Depot or menards
Beautiful❤
Great tutorial! Thank you for posting this!
Hello! I wanted to know, how do you glue it? On the (in French we say "mousse" or "polystyrène"?)
Amazing!!! ❤️❤️
Amazing tutorial! Would it also work without cutting the weaves and sewing them on again? I want to use the wig also for other projects.
Uhh okay... If you do a updo you need to a hell lot of hairspray or glue so its not that easy to use the wig again after you styled it .
Ah okee, thanks!!
genial!
This is magnificent! Thank you for sharing! What is The setting spray you used called?
got 2 be blasting freeze spray
Omg......beautiful
Brilliant!!!!!
Lovely
I dont understand how do you fix it ? I put à lot of fixatif spray on mine but it not really work... can u help me?😮
Hii, I also like to use some hot glue for the base layers underneath ;-)
Can u please tell me about the foam stuff and the glue and the screw was that plastic also I need your help on another wig that's hard!!! I'll inbox about that one
Very nice Job Well done
How do you do the curls on the side of the head that look like hair tunnels (sorry I don't know what they're called)
I love the term "hair tunnels" XD They're hair rolls and they're made by curling flat onto the iron in a rolling motion from the tips to the roots. You then very carefully slide the iron out and pin
@@seamscometrue3473 I was wondering the same thing. I saw you used tin foil for other curls. Do you always need that with synthetic wigs? I have a Rokoko wig that I'd like to repair.
Could be slowed down a tick,...so fast it is hard to read and watch...ehhh.
Belle réalisation, mais savoir qu'au temps de Marie Antoinette, les cheveux rouge 'existaient pas. Seul le gris (Poudre) était de rigueur....
yep... its just inspired by the 18th century ... not an historical acurate cosplay or custume :D
pretty ;-;
