I waited for the USB-C version as well before I bought a pair. I'm kind of disappointed though… They have a tint of blue, they aren't black. I like the space gray color, but like the USB-C…
IKR!!! Why TF is it Midnight?! and not Space Black?! I was gonna buy it even though I already have a SONY XM5, but I guess I'm sticking to it when a black one arrives.
@@seannightwal1765 I thought that I gamed the system by trading in my old AirPods Max the day before release. Now I do not want to buy any of the colors that were just released.
Very nice thanks for the video. I ordered them in midnight and blue because I’m very unsure about which colour I want. I also have the blue ones from the previous gen which I love their light blue colour. So I will have a fun time deciding lol. I sure won’t be opening both boxes. Anyways nice quality video it looks cinematic. I’m going to guess it was shot @ 24fps? Care to tell which camera you used? Thanks for the video and enjoy your headphones.
quite a disappointing upgrade. i own an Airpod Max gen 1, Sony xm5, Sonos Ace and Sennheiser Momentum 4 and I can say the Airpod Max came 3rd in my opinion to sound quality. They should have done more to the Max 2. They should have made it lighter.
Agreed I briefly owned a pair of AirPod Max but found them too heavy even after just a short period of time. I really wish they’d make some changes and release a Gen 2 version. So I ended up getting a pair of Bose NC700 in a sale which I’ve found great for sound quality and comfort.
Hello so which one among all mentioned in your comment do u rate the top in terms of the main features of headphones? I'm now in between AirPods Max 2 & Sony XM5?
@@PharmacieVimeanPharma hi there I’ve kinda done a u-turn on this and recently bought a pair of the AirPods Max with USB, and I actually prefer them to the Bose. The Bose are lighter I’ll admit, but after some lengthy sessions with both I get used to the added weight of the APM and prefer them as my ears don’t get sweaty like with the Bose. Both do sound good and although subjective I prefer the sound of the APM, the Bose have more bass but I think the APM still have good base but sound clearer to me and less muddy. Everyone’s ears are different though. One thing I do love about the APM is the auto connect and switch between Apple device as I have an iPhone and iPad. The case is silly though so I bought a 3rd party hard shell one which puts them into sleep mode as well. If you’re on the fence you could pop into an Apple Store and try the APM on and see how you feel with the weight and fit 👍.
@ I’ve been listening to both of it and despite everything seems to be the same component wise on AirPod max and the AirPod max usb c, but I think Apple may have silently retune the sound on it. There seems to be a slightly more bass but not as pronounced as the Sony. It’s well balanced on the usb c version of the AirPod max. I even tried using it for gaming on my iPad m4 and it works well. I bought the silicon earpad cover , headband cover, and the earpiece cover. It is much more stealthy black and I like it a lot. it seems to feel better on the ear as well. My advice go get it.

They got rid of Midnight in almost every other accessory. I really think that the update with usb c was supposed to be released two years ago.

Yeah i noticed that too in person. It's not black it's more like tinted blue
I think its look like it has cheaper look than the space gray ones. Nice! Might grab that later
Do you have a usb-c to 3.5mm cable you can test for me? Want to see if these work in wired mode
Will test it out! I believe I do cause I use one for the x-t5. I’m currently filming the use cases so will add that to the list
@@icelangthank you!!

Where's your sweater from? looks great
I ordered these but returned them for the purple ones. The midnight color is a bit off imo.
love your hoodie! where's it from?
it's from Korea. Honestly, I wish I bought a branded one, but it's from a boutique store
@@icelang thanks! it looks cool regardless of the brand lol
@@jccab true! but i can't buy it again haha
Watching this vid while testing and wearing my new ones too i got the same color a few hours ago ^^
Ayyy lets go!! I’ve been wearing mine since 9am for another video and hopefully you enjoy yours
I also ordered the purple and orange cups with the black
Do you find them really heavy after wearing for a short amount of time?
