    This is one of the reason why c/o always argue with surveyor who will read the actual reading...LOP issued to vessel for reading inaccurate draft/density/ballast for own interest. Nowadays surveyors must be smart and have to video record everything just to show how the vessel try to play magic😊

    In other words what you are saying, is that one should be dishonest! You are actually teaching people how yo cheat!
    As a marine surveyor I try to read as accurately as possible and to present an as accurately as possible account of findings to my client. I do not condone any dishonesty. My job is to determine the actual. quantity of cargo loaded or discharged. Not to please someone with the quantity they want!

    Ohhh, sometimes, when c/o began cheating with drafts and ballast, I was so angry and dont give any tone of constant to move, no any millimeter of draft, no any q/m of ballast. When they say +2 cm from the actual draft - I've started to read -2 cm from the actual draft...
    Hopefully, you've understood what I mean!

    Which is best method to calculate draft survey , loadicator( there is option to calculate in there) or manually?

    • @funnel2tunnel360
      @funnel2tunnel360  3 года назад +1

      Modern loadicators have built in draft survey programs which are pretty accurate. However the issue is some loadicators may use input data (drafts, ballast fuel etc from the condition itself)
      So, I prefer using excel sheet based draft surveys... they are easier to use.
