- My review of the Rapha Pro Team Training Bib Shorts, which I've owned for 6 months and worn on Zwift, the mountain bike and road bike. During this review I discuss elements I like and dislike about these bib shorts and whether I'd recommend them.

Been hesitating on pulling the trigger so this video helped! I have some louis garneau’s that I like but are not as fashionable as Rapha of course.I might give these a try!

Would definitely recommend Assos RS S9s! Love them, but looking for a different style second pair so definitely looking at getting a pair of these!

I’ve had several, from Pearl, to Specialized, to Castelli, LaPassione, Eliel, to Rapha, and a few others in between. The search was real cause the first pair I purchased were, in retrospect, complete garbage. I won’t slam any particular company, but I’ve settled on Rapha for comfort, build quality overall, and customer service. They’re pricey af, but I’ll pay it if I can get something that hits all three. Having said that, the LaPassione bibs never slide. But the pad/comfort and materials don’t compare to Rapha, nor does their customer service (crash replacement, etc). I have, however, noticed the slide issue with the latest version of the Rapha Pro Team bib and in that, I’m in agreement with you. Ultimately pad comfort is a personalized choice, but IMO, between them and maybe two others (Assos for sure and maybe Sportful), I don’t believe there are better made and comfortable bibs available. Thanks 😃 same for me my first pairs put me off cheap ones for life 😝 yeah the rapha stuff is seriously comfortable literally can’t fault them on that front, going on long rides has been great with these. Have been interested in trying some assos may have to have a look and will have a look at the sportful stuff 💪 Love an excuse to buy some kit 😂
I believe you can get the same benefits on the Core shorts, which are half price. I find the grippers much better as well.

Assos Mille GTS or GTO c2
7mesh mk3 or Pactimo 12hr bibs maybe. Been looking around but have yet to give them a shot.

This was a great review of these bib shorts. I always wear Specialized shorts. it's just what I've always worn I know there are better shorts out there one day I'd like to try a pair of Assos shorts. What does the Rocket ride in?

Also... Rapha used to do this and think they maybe still do...
they give a life time guarantee, but check that one out...!
Will have a look, think they still do... I know they offer free repairs for crash damage which is pretty amazing 👌

Haha I have the same issue with the Assos T Mile... but perhaps I should have opted for a small....
Interesting was think about trying a pair of Assos 🤔 I think the problem with the rapha ones is they are generally a bit shorter than others I have and that’s why they must offer a long in some of the other bib shorts they sell....

These shorts are rubbish. What size did you get? I think the size i got was too large. They full on squish my junk.
I got a medium and normally wear a small in most other brands but the size (apart from the length) is spot on for me

Hairy legs won’t help hold down the shorts and avoid the “hot pant look”... 🙈🙈
😂😂 fair point it’s the off season... need to keep warm and that will be gone soon for the aero gains 😜
