As an adopted kid (transracial adoption) i am so happy with the way Gorgug is portrayed. His insecurities never stem from his adoption. He struggles with confidence and some parts are because he's a big half-orc around a lot of small gnomes, but its never the fact that he's been adopted by gnome parents. (Also no one really questions that his parents are gnomes and as someone who's parents very clearly do not look like me, its nice to see that he doesn't get weird looks/questions)
For the splitest of seconds I forgot transracial could mean being adopted by someone of a different race, and not that creepy thing I used to think was just a transphobic talking point
