I hope you and all of your family and friends stay safe I’m sure the building codes have been adjusted over the years for just these storms. I live in the Canadian prairies and we don’t see wind like you guys are seeing 🙏
awesome vid. my turbo sierra 371" billet 85/96 1.32 made a little over 1000 unlocked through 80e and 9" and started doing same thing. anything over 24lbs all the way up to 29ish, just picked up 5hp. pretty sure its time for a bigger turbine.
Stay safe. Our son is the Course Superintendent at Crown Colony Golf & Country Club in Fort Myers, and is going to stay at work rather than risk the drive back to Bonita Springs. He's expecting some flooding of the course on the backside of Ian (that might be open to misinterpretation) with a predicted storm surge of up to 18' owing to it coinciding with high tide. The tide gauge at Naples Pier is showing some 5' above the normal high tide level ... at low tide! Update: He drove home before the worst hit.
Your videos are entertaining and very informative. You also have a great relaxed presence that is very unique. Always love watching your videos. Saying our prayers for Florida.
Before the power went out, our son in Bonita Springs reported that the water from the 12' storm surge was chest deep in the parking lot of his condo about 1.5 miles inland (but SW Florida being old swampland, the water can rise in canals and lakes before it's seen on the roads, etc. By implication that means that his F150 was half underwater and that all local shops were flooded too. We hope he's got food in. His golf course in Fort Myers will have been badly affected too, reports are that the flood waters there reached beyond I75. Now waiting for daylight when hopefully we'll get aerial views of the extent of the flooding. We're due out there (from UK) in November/December, and it might well still be bad then. Hoping your people, shop and cars were not affected.
Nuts how everyone has 1000hp these days. Used to be unheard of outside of the Top Fuelers. Yes I would like some slippers and a nap, who wouldn't? Have fun riding out what's-his-wind!

I noticed wheel speed stayed at 162 mph the 5 or more runs. Is it blowing thru the converter at ~ the 800 hp mark? No wheel speed change that dyno wont read higher hp will it? That is like the equivalent of tire slip ?

When you do these dyno sessions, do you charge by the hour? All the time you spend chasing things down does that just end up costing the customer more? Must make it hard to schedule time for these though.
It is the Dome on top of the Wastegate. They are using co2 to pressure the Dome of the Wastegate and that is fighting the exhaust pressure. So adding more pressure to the top of the Wastegate or (dome pressure) is going to stop the exhaust pressure blowing the Wastegate open and therefor making more boost.

@@newtonfirefly3584 Thanks for the reply. We are running almost exactly the same set up 366 in.³ 6.0 L iron block. We’re running twin 69 mm SXE Borg Warner turbos with .96 AR turbines.
