That last line almost brought tears to my eyes. I don't even know who these people are, but the love, admiration, and respect between them is so palpable its moving 😂
Both of these men are amazing at breaking down information and conveying their insight to others through their books. Just as amazing is the apparent respect they still have for each other. They are a blessing to each other, and that becomes the same blessing to all who have read their books.
Thanks Ryan! He sure hit the nail on the head! Keep it coming! Here's a poem for you: Practice loving something small at first; this is Nature's grand secret: knowing that something small and subtle inside each one of us affects all this Universe can hold.
And personal accountability is important as well. Are we really being our best selves? To do that, we must be radically honest with ourselves. If we truly love ourselves and others, we will do the inner work to be unflinchingly honest with where we fall short; and, discover what we need to do to improve. None of us are perfect, nor should we chase perfection, excellence is a better goal. ThankYou for the inspiring poem.🌷
Mentorship....this is an area worth discussing. Guiding, sharing, and teaching the next group to improve society. America is missing this part badly...no one has time; but these two are a great example to follow.
Very admirable adulation between student and teacher. However, just as important is to receive a positive viewpoint from those who purchase your services and products. From the bookstore, to the books, to the classes; and, the interpretations of stoicism. Particularly, when one is a workaholic, it is easy to be running so fast, doing, doing, doing, that one does not take the time to take measure of the true quality of the results. Ask the question, am I living up to what is presented as a mission to be accountable, be the best that I can be? That takes time as well, it takes introspection. Workaholics, rarely have time for introspection b/c they have already moved on to the next thing they are doing and/or planning to do. This often is a tragic flaw b/c there are cracks in the foundation that go unnoticed, unacknowledged; and, unrepaired. Willingness to see and hear the truth is the key to overcoming THIS potential character flaw and obstacle. Are you willing, no mater how many accolades you receive, how much money you acquire, how successful you consider yourself to be to look for the cracks in your foundation and fix them?

Damn. What a wholesome dynamic between mentor and student
Exactly my thoughts! Two really intelligent Gentlemen treating each other exactly how it should be, with respect.
I agree. This bond is rarely seen today.

Ryan is breaking the first law- Never outshine the master 🤣🤣🤣🤣😜😜😜
I think that by saying “I had a great teacher” he give the shine to the master (his mentor) so I think Ryan understand the law very well 😅😂
I love both of these givers. Kindly, thank you.
Yessir! Incredible humility 😎😎
