Sorry to correct you Mr. Cain, but Jerome Abalos was never a contestant in any singing contest in the Philippines or overseas. He started in mainstream entertainment as the lead singer of the thrash metal group Death by Stereo, and is still the band's lead singer. He has several monster platinum hits, one of which is Larawang Kupas.

I had to check the original by Guns and Roses to compare and I was quite, surprised to discover that it seemed to be as good as Slash's himself! Though the video I checked was made back in the mid 80s and I'm not sure it has ever, been remastered.

The Lead Singer is Jerome Abalos, the Father, on the Keyboards, Sean, Lead Guitar, Zachary, and Drums, Shane, are all his Sons. On Bass Guitar, Charlemagne is a later addition. I still consider them as Filipino Family Band. Because it was his Sons who started it all in 2015.
