I'm going to be the odd ball and say I prefer hand stamped soaps, though it was very interesting. Good luck with it.

I run chalk around the edges of dark items to see the edges better.
I love that this laser has fume extraction! That was always my worry with other laser engravers, that it could cause a reaction with the lye in the soap and release some kind of toxic gas.
This seems like a much safer option for soap!

I'd bet the xtool f1 on acrylic uses the infrared laser and not the diode, which would make a difference. Also, I found on dark stuff I just put something lighter under it, like the lighter wood. Works like a charm. Wecreat is coming out with an infrared laser head in about a month also.
Did you change the names of your soaps or are they all new scents? 🤔💞

If the engraving changes based on the color I am curious how it will look on a swirled soap, like with high contrast colors.
one of the things i keep waiting on is for wecreat to fix the firing, it only fire left to right only not both ways.

Great video as always Jerika, you did a video recently with another engraving tool (x-Tool i believe), which one do you prefer?
