For 25 years Caroline Dream has been captivating, inspiring, and shaping the world of clowning with her multifaceted talents as a performer, teacher, speaker, author, and director.
With roots in both the UK and Spain, Caroline honed her skills at the renowned Fooltime Circus School in Bristol, UK, and in 1998 she embarked on a new journey as a Clown Teacher, shaping the next generation of performers. Her expertise led her to conduct courses for Cirque Du Soleil in Las Vegas and establish her own school in Barcelona. Beyond the borders of Spain, her workshops have touched aspiring clowns in the USA, Puerto Rico, Costa Rica, Peru, Germany, Portugal, Mexico, and Colombia. Embracing the digital age, her online training sessions attract clowns from every corner of the globe.
Caroline Dream is not only a master performer but also a captivating Speaker. Her unique fusion of physical and verbal expressiveness, coupled with her ongoing education as a speaker at Toastmasters International since 2014, makes her a sought-after authority on clown wisdom.
As an accomplished Author, Caroline penned her first clown book, "The Clown In You," a reference in the clowning world, published in Spanish, Portuguese, and English. With over 14,000 copies sold worldwide, it established her as a leading voice in the field. In October 2020, her second manual, "Clown Yourself," earned acclaim for its therapeutic approach to embracing one's own ridiculousness.
Delving into Direction in 2020, Caroline's debut full-length work, "Inesperado" (The Unexpected), performed by Fiorella Gambini and Daniela Ayaipoma, garnered praise, earning Best Direction and Best Comedy Show by Oficio Crítico in Lima, Peru. Her directorial style was described as "simple, effective, and sincere," bringing resilience and laughter to audiences facing life's unexpected events.
