At CLOWN SPIRIT we use the power of the sacred clown to bring lightness, joy and connection to your life and the lives of everybody around you.

Sacred clowning is a unique practice that combines humor, theatricality, and spirituality to create a space for introspection, healing, and growth.
In a world often burdened by seriousness and complexities, we need the captivating and transformative art of clowning to challenge conventional norms while imparting profound insights.
While the sacred clown has existed for many millennia, today sacred clowning has found its way onto stages, workshops, and even therapeutic settings. Modern sacred clowns use their performances to challenge societal norms, break down barriers, and provoke self-reflection. They employ humor as a tool to unveil uncomfortable truths, inviting audiences to confront their assumptions and preconceptions.

Wanted to say i appreciate the perspective. Ive been thinking about clowns and performing. Which has led me here. Thank you.
I’ll bet all those Ukrainians aren’t laughing today, 3 years after the clown turned president destroyed their country while enriching himself with US tax payers money. Ironic that their beloved clown did what they expected from their previous corrupt leader who I’m sure doesn’t seem so bad to them right now . 😂 Careful what you wish for…
My dad just told me last night he almost was initiated as a heyoka! But it was around that time he also met my mom and had me and my brother. He's since reacquainted with his friends, though!
This has been so interesting 👏, all subjects that I want to know more about … clown forms , archetypes , creating a show . I am currently doing my 4 th session of clown exploration with a group . Few days ago I saw a clown improv show where all the Clown forms were very evident , so this clownversation is very nourishing 🤡🙏🥳🎈🥰and deepening this Play adventure
💞💞💞👍👍👍💞💞💞👍👍👍Dimash sings to your soul. This is breathtaking!!!! Dimash is the best in the world!!!!💞💞💞👍👍👍💞💞💞👍👍👍
Clowning itself is may by considered an art form in the elite brand, but to identify as an clown in itself is to be unapologetically human.
Bro this is the best vídeo ever, i really Star to search the type or kind of clowns and just click on this video and inspire a lot, this men chance My mind about clowns because i used to have this common image about clowns and now and i won't SEE them again like becore, if My English it's not good at all i apollogyce for that im not american. But thanks for your video
I Love Clown in Ancient Pyramid of Egypt A Clown is a Priest
Please don't interview an So Called Alternative Medicine practitioner. Such people don't need more airtime. We're having enough trouble dealing with their utter disregard for reality already. Love the podcast and the content otherwise.
Well im a suspected person because ive not only been at Peta's workshop but i was so fortunate to be directed by her. Im 47 and shes been the true master since I was 19 . There are no words to describe her value and mastery. Her knowledge and passion and the ability to share her work. Thanks again and again Peta ! ❣
Very cool
I can’t get enough of watching and listening to Dimash. ❤️👏🙌🙏 he NEVER gets old to me, I am captivated the same now as I was a year ago. He’s truly the GOAT!! 🥰
It’s weird that you as a white man are using indigenous cutlure as the face of your company….. like it’s kinda offensive since they are heavily tied in with ceremonies and are considered holy. Have you ever even been in ceremony? Like? It just seems wrong. You’re not even native.
It is pretty weird especially since he doesn't talk about the clowns full purpose during ceremonies.
You should visit his website
This is so wonderful to see and hear. Larry Pisoni and Peggy Snider gave me my very first opportunity, accepting me as an apprentice in the Pickle Family Circus when I was fourteen years old (1984)! I was a budding trapeze artist.. Little did I know that their strong company/collective mentality would inspire me to start my own company with friends (Cirque Pocheros) ten years later, and that the quality of Larry's sweet, solid, burlesque clown Lorenzo Pickle, would influence me profoundly, and another ten years later I would become a clown myself. Many thanks Larry.
Thank you for this video :)
lmao it’s hilarious to hear about your mission to bring “joy lightness and connection” to the world with such a dull, muted, empty energy 😂 that’s clowns 4 ya and, we don’t need more… it’s only appropriate for those born with the calling to be a true sacred egg laying kind of a clown (as the best ones are)
:o Be the clown you wanna see in the world 🤡
So underrated, i wish people would see the deeper meaning of clowns... i once saw in a kid's cartoon, the show having clowns as the police itself to say "the policeman are clowns, bozos!" it had to do with politics of the time but i still found that quite shallow
I am wondering one thing tho: Did they steal apsects of the native americans clowns? Or was it shared?
This was honestly a super provoking and inspiring conversation. Patch’s thoughts at the end touched on the feelings I’ve been feeling lately. That the world is in trouble and we are on the verge of human demise…. But that that is all the more reason we should enjoy life and inject happiness and love into every day we are alive and into every interaction with our fellow humans. We are needed and called on to clown up the world and play with it, because it opens up the world to receive the antidote of love.
Its not comedy when there is no audience in real time? Or on social media?
Social media wall behind. What a original idea and tool. I would love to see an example. Like were the audiences commenting on a photo? How did you make it less distracting with you as the performer and the social media?
Also porn stars.--- lol.
I love this. Story tellers with our bodies. So many connections to dance.
wait... did anytone find out about the striped tshirts that clowns wear???
An Auguste clown is a type of circus clown that is often clumsy or unlucky, and is known for their slapstick humor and colorful costumes an example would be Lou Jacobs The famous Clown from Ringling Bros. Circus (My instructor the last year he taught at Ringling Bros Clown College in 87) or Bozo the Clown A whiteface clown is a theatrical clown who covers their face and neck with white makeup, known as "clown white", and paints on features in red or black. They are often dressed in bright, oversized clothing and shoes, and may wear a ruffled collar and pointed hat. Whiteface clowns are known for their exaggerated performances, and are often the leader of a group when performing with other clowns. Whiteface clowns are the oldest of the clown archetypes, and can be traced back to the Pierrot character. They are often seen as more intelligent and sophisticated than other types of clowns, such as the Auguste, who are often portrayed as rude or grotesque. Whiteface clowns often set up comic skits, perform tricks or stunts. Ronald McDonald is an example of a White Faced Clown The Tramp Clown has more human features usually facial hair like Otto Griebling or Charle Chaplin. I am a a retired American Character Clown. Your channel really resonates with me. Yuri Belov formerly of The Moscow State Circus who introduced me to clowning at a summer clown workshop at North Carolina School of the Arts.
I'm looking to turn clowning into a hobby, as it seems very fun! (and also because, though Clowns don't need to be in heavy makeup, or scary, I do like the look, and am always wanting to dress up in it) I definitely agree that Clowns represent our inner stupidity, absurdity and ridiculousness. I mean just look at the meme of someone dressing in clown makeup with captions underlining their idiocy. For Example: You lost your phone You can't find it anywhere in the room You decide to look under the bed You turn on your phone's flashlight to see-
I want homeless on purpose to restart my life, after I got out of homelessness. I kinda want to do it again, but now as a Mime.
What do u mean? Did u sleep on the street on purpose while having a house or did u not pay rent and get evicted on purpose
@@DankMemeGang no I went to go sleep on the streets with nothing. I could have stayed with my parents but I didn't want to do that.
@@nothomelessonyoutubeso u wanna sleep on the street as a mime?
I saw him once at KSU, magnificent, he is a national treasure.

Thank you for your amazing reaction !!! After the song she is still in the zone, but you stopped it too soon.
there is a lot to be serious about on a day to day. but the rest of the time. i am gonna be a clown enjoying life .
“You’re already great at being stupid and ridiculous “ . 😂 best quote ever. So glad I came across this channel on national clown week as I start my journey as a professional (or unprofessional) clown. 😂 Stay calm and Clown on . ❤
I enjoyed watching this. A used to perform as a clown many years ago ,although the clown spirit never leaves you ( not that I want it to) the one thing that I would say, which the vid did touch on, was the connection to the 'inner child' , the clown , at least my clown, was very child like , a mixture of innocence, wonder, play and mischief . It's not a coincidence that many of the great clowns find a strong connection with children , either as an audience or the case of Charlie Chaplin in 'the Kidd'. Sometimes ( if not all the time ) simple truths are reached upon through the eyes of a child .
I can teach you to go from clown to zero 🎉
"Continue being stupid with vulnerability"... (maybe not a word-for-word correct quote, but embracing the gist of it) - I so needed to hear these inspiring words at this point in my life... being AUD/ADD & masking for years, your words were an epiphany... I've always loved making people happy & smile all my life... but was often put down by others for my star-shine... now I feel free to relax and be sparkly me! Thank you from the bottom of my heart. ❤ If I can keep one heart from breaking, I have not lived my life in vain. I am content.
What a lovely and playful interview. Patrick is such an amazing person and teacher! ❤ It's so nice hearing him talk about his craft and passion.
thanks so much Lianne ❤

Hi Mr. Claun Spirit! I came in to your channel trying to find out a meaning of a dream. May I ask you to help me to identify this meaningful dream? Would you answered me? Thank You.
I just discovered your channel. looking forward to future masterclasses. I''m new to clowning and have a lot to learn.
Great great 🎉🎉
Amazing video! I'm Brazilian clown and I'm very happy to have watched this content. Congratulations and let's be ridiculous ever! Thanks
As much as I know and understand, Clowns never have a beard. Beard means, as much as I know and understand hiding the face. Clown ist about opening and showing the face. By the way, I'm a Clown since many many years and I took Off my beard, when a wise man told me to do. I cannot laugh about Clowns with a beard in the face...
Beautiful
I enjoyed the interview. Suggestion: it is helpful when a clickable link to events and activities discussed in the video are in the description box.
