There is a problem with geared cycles, we can't find mechanics who can repair them, if we get stuck in middle of the road. Normal mechanic can repair non-geared cycle easily. 👍
But bro if we take care of the cycles so their is no need to find mechanics 👍🏻
The simple solution is to take a multitool with you and knowing to do simple repairs

I purchased ATLAS geared Duro Shox at 7800 and from the beginning 1st gear wasn't working after 6-7 months while riding I changed to 1st gear and immediately the gear shifter broke since then my cycle is getting new problems.
My opinion is if you have a budget 5k-10k buy a non geared good cycle and if more than 10k then go for gears because low quality gears don't work properly after a year or so.

As I child in the late 1980s I remember people cycling unimaginable (in todays scenario) distances on non geared cycles , roadsters like Phillip's , BSA ,Hercules and Atlas

It depends on where and what level you are riding as a mountain biker the gear system is the best version of cycles and a nongear system is good for the place where u ride.
I always liked non gear cycles, I have seen my friend have problems with his gear cycles so I always stick to non gear cycles but good quality ones, good tyre quality and comfortable
I had bought a hero sprint geared cycle 5 years ago for rupees 6000 still running smoothly. I enjoy riding it everytime till date. Never got bored of it

Flat, non flat, bumpy, inclined, traffic... any condition multi gear bikes are always better. A little more expensive but worth it.
@@athulkrishnan2600 non gear cycle have more speed because in gear cycle there is extra weight of the gear and its part and in normal cycle like mach city it is faster then 21 gear cycle because it has no gear so no extra weight and it is light so more speed.. U understand

Between Gear and Non-Gear I will always suggest Geared. You can always NOT shift and maintain a single speed. But times when you need geared help you will not be left wanting.
Bero yhe worst thing is that u need to be shifting gears but no prob in non geared
I guess go for gear cycle coz even if I don't ride uphill sometimes when I get tired shifting gears make it easy to ride as peddling efforts are reduced by gears

I bought a cycle with rear disk front suspension at 11000 single speed .
All its features are working nicely for 2 months now I am going to buy shimano tourney gears set and a rear disk brake.

How to buy original gear set bro
gears increase the torque. Freewheel in a fixed gear cycle is at almost the center of of the wheel which reduce the torque. that's very simple, if you wanna to stunts, need a variation of torque ratios then buy a geared bicycle. But if you want that just for basic things for low budjet, you should go for non gear. There's a bit difference that makes a huge impact
Best cycle is non gear it not need service monthly for gears and we don't wanna go to flyover or mountain so i decided to buy non gear but with good quality like disk break and etc

Up until today all the gear cycles I have bought ran into problems after 1 month , gear cycles require adjustments of derailleurs and if u don’t have any knowledge on this and if ur using local bicycle shops , they can drive u crazy if the derailleurs are not configured properly, this is my own experience with gear cycles, now I have learnt how to adjust derailleurs and maintain them , so no issues.

we can purchase gear cycle...but the issue is all about it's servicing. My brother purchased for ₹13k in 2015-16. ALmost after every week, he used to go for servicing. Finally, i mum sold to our maid and saved 2 month's maid cost.

We have come accross a bike called Spinx Hotspot 1.0. It has 21 Schemano Gears alongwith an aluminium body with internal wiring. We could get 1 for 19K.

Cycle don't have gears. What they give you us multiple sprockets either on both front and rear points or only in one of the points. There is a fundamental difference between gear and sprocket. Any pair of sprocket of different diameters will provide a speed ratio but that doesn't make them gears.

Mudguards are really essential,and you realise their importance only when they are not fitted(telling by experience) the front tyre will throw dirt on your pants and even on face at high speeds and the back tyre will destroy your t-shirt from back 😔😔

Non-gear cycle is a myth. There can't be a cycle without a gear. It's just that they have a single gear system as opposed to multi-gear ones. It's technically wrong to say non-gear cycle.

Hi . Thanks for the video. I am riding in bangalore and bought a no gear no suspension mtb. And as u said it's really difficult to ride on elevated roads. Roads here are really hugely elevated. It took me 5.5 hours including breaks to complete 55 km and I achieved an elevation of almost 500m . So if I ride without gear in elevated roads, will it burn more calories or it will impact my muscles?
