A lot of you guys wondering how I fit 1 1/8 steering tube to the frame. The frame has a 34mm headtube, and your eye has been tricked by the 1 1/8 thread type fork of this bike. Not all thread type fork has a standard size so NO HEADTUBE CONVERSION happened here. You may see the image link below with regards to the size of the old thread type fork I replaced.

Im very pleased to see another old bike back to life.
Great to see that you press bearings in to head instead hmmering them ;-)
I have some advice for you:
    1. Use rust inhibitor before painting.
    2. Try avoid to use filler (beter to play with primer only if rust marks are not too deep.More work but better results in long shot)
    3. When welding with electrode try to place one continous bead instead of short tack welds.
    4. Hide your stickers under clearcote that way they last longer.

@@genesisjulian9524 What about some kind of acid? A lot of people don't realize that acid will strip paint, rust, and grease. I use Muriatic Acid to clean old rusty automobile parts, but It's my understanding that Phosphoric Acid works well too. In Canada here, Muriatic acid is easy to come by because it's used to clean swimming pools. Just don't get it on your skin or breath the fumes.

So beautiful! I wonder, how easy is braking and shifting gears on that bike. Trying to get older used bike for my lady and she kinda fell in love with my gravel, which are hard to come by in decent price compared to older bikes.

Real restorations unlike those people that fake new bikes or what ever and man make rust on it and pretend to restore it, this is true restoring.

What type of bycycle handlebar is this?

Very well done and entertaining restoration video. I have also refurbished old bikes several times, but then mostly consistently replaced all parts. Therefore, I found it great that you have given the rear derailleur again a chance. The bike has become really great. One question I have, what kind of handlebar is that? Manufacturer, model or designation? I have never seen this handlebar. lg Armin
