Keep hitting the refineries need to stop the money!!!
You could also tell European countries to stop buying it. There is countless European nations that are buying metric tons of Russian fuel and oil that is sold through Russia, to India and China and various other nations that are then re-sold to Europe at highly inflated prices. All the money, going to Russia for more war funding.

Evidently Skynet needs to be AI?
Is I always said, it doesn't matter what weapons you have at the beginning of the war. It matters what you have at the end of the war. The war itself produces new weapons.

Causing a drone to return to the operator also facilitates counter battery fire with the drone betraying the location of the operator
EMP weapons already being a thing in 2024, goddamn future is getting here fast.
As the author, William Gibson, noted: "The future is already here, it's just not evenly distributed."
That would be one hell of a weapon, whoever invented that device is is a freaking genius, they have all my respect, hurrah.
Russia did. 😂

Adapt and over come...😊
I am surprised no one has started a modern falconry unit.
Teach armored falcons how to take out drones.
I believe the Dutch and the Danes are ahead of you on that. Their Government buildings are protected by large Predator Birds trained to take out Quadcopters in flight. I couldn't see how they didn't get hurt but they are vicious taking the Drones to the ground and trying to disassemble them!
I saw this in TV. They where Testing it. I think they Blades of the Propellers harmed the Falcon feets.
I've seen police using them, kevlar armor on the talons, to keep paparazzi away from celebs but building up a farm where you could train thousands of falcons would take time. First you'd have to train more humans to train the birds. You'd also have to be able to train the falcons somehow to distinguish between friendly and unfriendly drones. If these drones are carrying explosives that go off when the falcon catches it you lose the bird, which is way more expensive and time consuming to replace than the drone.
Trained falcons are very expensive.
@@aristoclesathenaioi4939maybe there's a niche for horses and Falcons
These weapons will find a way onto vehicles, ships and jets
The military tech that will come out of this war will be massive. Everyone will be producing weapons, munitions, kit, armor, transportations etc Slava Ukraine
The US specifically needs to heed this in designing their new generation of drones
Let’s publish all our secrets and strategies for the Russians to see!!! Why do we keep telling the Russians what we are doing, revealing our technology and letting the Russians know what is being provided to Ukraine in such an open manner?
Exactly! You don’t see Russian tv giving details about weapons provided and used. Our capitalist democratic system is used against us by self sabotage to get RUclips views!
You are right , now it will be being used by the Chinese and Russians within months once they have infiltrated security of the company
C'mon think about If it's being played on you tube im pretty sure the Russians have known about for awhile. Backwards as they are im confident they aren't getting their military secrets from youtube
It's called psy ops. You learn what your enemy doesn't have enough of and show off that you can buy and build it yourself for your troops. Some Russian with a smart phone sees this article and tells a friend or shows the video to the rest of the troops and on it goes. Scuttlebutt is not exclusive to the US Army. Every army has its share of scuttlebutt.
Have you heard how Ukraine is hitting refineries so far away. They are buying small planes and making them into large drones controlled by an operator on the ground and packing them with as much explosives as it can carry. That's a big bang for your buck. With a pilot knowledgeable enough to fly a plane and drone they can fly under the radar and hit their target. They are cheaper than building a drone with limited range, that can't carry as heavy a payload. I love the Ukrainians, they can make something out of nothing.
Beggars belief, doesn't it? 🤦♂️
Thank you for all the information. It will be useful.
Certainly a good story. We wait to see the results.
Thank you Lithuania for your technology and the results its achieving in Ukraine. Maybe one that disables at twice the range on half the power
Slava 🇹🇼 Heroyam TAIWANese 🦾
This is more of a directional jammer (4g jammer) not an EMP.. a Emp weapon would be omni-directional and would requirea lot more power for that range...
A lot of non nuclear EMPs use a device known as an "explosively pumped flux compression generator."
Basically, it uses high explosives to create an EM burst.
They are normally used for scientific research purposes these days, but they have the potential to be used as death rays against electronics.
@@twistedyogert Yes, a very good point..
Ohh, net bolas from regular carbine launchers. Interesting to see netslinging instead of the conventional drop charges.
$15.000 for anti drones is cheap
5:22 I know what goes into these systems and the Ukrainian costing $12000 USD is wishful thinking. That will be the export price which the manufacturer is hoping for. A bulk order from Ukraine I expect the unit cost somewhere between $500 and $1000 each.
The idea would be to send drones loaded with other drones which would be detected when a drone operator on site near the planned objective can detect and take control of this drone and will initially trigger the detachment of the drone(s). carrier and then can direct them towards the targets. Thus, enormous damage in all directions could be inflicted on the Russians and their strategic installations without being detected.
The picture of a reaper/predator and misidentifying it as a shaden was embarrassing.
The soldier is training with a Springfield armory Saint Victor @ 1:42 I own one it’s a very nice rifle.
I wouldn't think return to base would come flying in and explode, so I don't see how it helps to set the target as the base. You don't want it to go land softly at the target.
I have been saying this for years you can make one at home
The UK developed DragonFire laser air defense system has been making waves in the news recently. It would be interesting to see how well it compares (and/or compliments) the kinetic anti-drone platforms in overall cost, cost per engagement, and effectiveness across different weather conditions (heavy clouds and fog have been the Achilles Heel of laser based systems across all technologies).
That was a nice Shahed drone at 10:18 or wait was that an american drone? Lol

These naval drones by Ukraine can be used as mine sweepers. But kamikazi drones can be used as a sea mine destroyers for a cheaper cost .

Do a RF Path loss estimation, and see that it is not at all trivial. It does not destroy drones, but only partially distorts its communication. But if you know the drone's communication, you might be able to take over control and let it land or so.
The acoustic sensor in the sky cntrl may not accurately locate a drone, but it is probably good enough that it can cue the much more accurate optical or radar sensors. The best part is that the acoustic sensors are completely passive and probably uses very little energy. I wonder if you can fit it on a UTV for high mobility and to avoid enemy attacks that homes in on the radar.
Enogh to launch, an interceptor.
It will be much more effective if it is stationary when used, but there's no reason that it couldn't be transported on an unmanned system. That would probably be a highly effective use of both systems.
All the best
What we need is to bring back the SPAAG - like the Flakpanzer Gepard from Germany (it's a Tank with AA-Radar and two rapid fire AA-Guns!)
that is what i was thinking long time when no one came up with that better small caliber AA air auto motion infrared dect over a tank to defend and stetionary for infantery .:)

Develop a mechanism to return to the sender, would be more effective ...

five new skywipers. five. this is absolutely ridiculous. they would need 500. which cost not more than one (!) tank.
Ukraine wasn't for nothing the country where the USSR kept all there factories. Ukraine is genius!
But the Russians worked there, and the Ukrainians sowed grain in the fields.
2:12 Is that 35-60 minutes of some kind of a Standby mode, or ...There's no way that's the total time for trigger pulling, is it? How long does it take to disable the target when you're aiming point is good?
Inquiring minds want to know...lol
😶
Battery powered, voltage multipliers, possibly hefty capaciters. It's sending out a strong freq. tuned pulse. Thats total operating time, hopefully modular batteries.
That figure is operating time (pulling the trigger), not standby time. Their power draw isn't huge.
@@ivancho5854 ok, thanks. That makes more sense than the alternative, I think...lol.
But you never really know What dumb things cam be done between the drawing board and the finished product...lol
Do they have a non-military model that can disable smart phones at the dinner table?
I would expect more drone-on-drone weapons. Shooting a target from several kilometers away sounds incredibly difficult, but a hunter-killer drone could attack another drone from up close. It could even physically ram it. It could drop lengths of fishing line to jam the propellers, or a net. That close to the target, it could spoof GPS (with realistic nearby coordinates) and guide it into the ground.
There are videos of Drone Combat. The FPVs fly into tanks and if they find a Drone they'll do the same.
The cost, is keeping them in the air, that's why detection is key.
An attackers, primary advantage, is descission when where and how.
After that, it's the defender that have the advatage if any.
Thys : Prepare,prepare,prepare ..
Seen a few vids of larger drones with nets scooping up drones like some robotic bat catching a mosquito.
50 units, 80 units that is trivial. They need thousands!

what if they switch to other gps standards?
@7:28 These sensors can NOT determine how the drones are communicating with its operator. It can only determine whether it uses any means that it can detect, for example in the case of the recently found drone with glass fiber optical communication it would not have been able to find it means of communication let alone disturb them. Other means are also possible and not detected for.
Can it jam glide bombs?
6:46 Nice! Smart.
One has to laugh at this. Ukraine has much bigger worries than a drone.

Horn antennas for the bands needed for drone jamming systems are tiny. Put them on a wing below the drone, just two per band, and build a line-follower robot in the drone. This is 8-bit 1980's stuff and you can even do it analog. You don't need to control it: Launch in the direction of the jammers, and it'll hit one of them. Since it's not controlled, and has no need of cell or radar or gps, only the jamming signal!, it will work. I suppose you could FPV it to near enough, just to make sure... 🇺🇦 🇺🇦 🇺🇦 Слава Україні!!! Героям слава!!! 🇺🇦 🇺🇦 🇺🇦
Not deveating from head on path to target antenna points backwards toward pilot wrapped in cone of al foil🦅👾
The Russians need it more than the Ukrainians, when Ukrainians Drones are more deadly and are capable of destroying a Tank such as the T-90.
But what I haven't seen yet...like say a Large Scale RC F-16 (like those at Air Shows) which usually cost between $200 to $1000 each depending on the features and would seriously and psychologically screw up the Russians.
Would that there were small and light enough heat seeking and radiation seeking missiles that a killer anti-drone drone could use to kill other drones.
i think, and what the hell do i know, one of the reasons the US was forced to approve the aid package to ukraine was because of the MIC.
they see/hear how changes are being made on the battlefield. i.e., the US has not fought a combat war since korea. vietnam nope, line of fire don't count. i saw a graphic the other day that said the US did not use as many artillery shells in DS1 as urkraine uses in a day. nope don't count. DS2 wash rinse repeat. afghanistan/syria forget it.
the MIC saw that if the US is not supporting ukraine they were not going to be embedded. therefore, they could not "test" their new toys.
so give them the damn money so we can do our field research.
given what the MIC was seeing, and what they were learning, second hand, they didn't want to take a stand just on the outskirts of paris.
i hear there is all sorts of "stuff" showing up in the air over yemen. butt what do i know?
Drones now have A.I. No satellite link.
Drones autonomously hunt and kill vehicles, materiel, trenches and human heat signitures.
And other hostile drones.
AI isn’t quite at this point. At least not at a suitable price point. FPV-drones utilizing AI features may however autonomously follow and hit a target already tracked if the connection with the operator gets separated.

Why would you publicize Ukraine's weapons? Don't you think that Russia will copy this technology or find a way to negate their effectiveness?
You really think russia gets their Intel from RUclips?
@@szymon308 Of course I do. They get it from wherever they can, RUclips included. In WW2 some a-hole congressman stated publicly that our subs could go below 200 feet although the Japs were setting their depth charges shallower. It didn't take them long to fix their error.
