Jen was amazing & got screwed over on repeat on DC. Every boy she cared about, except Henry, preferred Joey. Henry chased Jen for a year & when she finally let herself fall for him, he dumped her. She hardly had any happy moments & when she was happy with her daughter, they killed her. Just wrong.
Wendy Dawson Henry was also needy and deranged and possibly the worst of all boyfriends on this show, but yeah poor Jen never had a good relationship. This show had no idea what to do with her character, such a shame
Kate Lattey right. Joey was a moody, self righteous, pain in the arse, most of the time. Jen was always kind, a great friend & constantly rejected. Thank God she had Jack & Grams.
CJ never cared about Joey at all, so at least that was one. Although he did reject her at the beginning because he was into Audrey. But even that was corrected because he realized later that he did want Jen and even regretted being with Audrey because of it.
Jen was a much better character than Joey. It's ridiculous how every single guy on the show went all gaga for Joey, as there was nothing about her that was really all that great. The writers just made her out to be a Mary Sue without anything really to back it up - in reality, Joey was whiny, judgmental, and high maintenance without really being worth it in any way. Jen did not judge people and just wanted to be cared for. She was even a great friend to Joey despite Joey initially treating her like dirt.
Wendy Dawson i also felt bad for Jen I realized she in this season and behind has matured and grown up if you seen and heard her in s1 she had a bad past and Billy also was bad her first boyfriend but she came to capeside her mom bought her to grams and definitely has Jack to I feel bad for her most boys did use her it’s what you allow.

Yes pacey has always been the better man and when Dawson almost hurt Pacey in the boat race I lost so much respect for Dawson so glad to Joey and Pacey got together that is real love.
Pacey had been attracted to Joey since S1. He made a move on her and she freaked out. I think he always liked her but had to keep her at a distance because of Dawson. And their constant bickering was an early sign of attraction that neither of them knew how to deal with or comprehend so they mistook it for simple dislike. The seeds of Pacey and Joey were sewn quite early on imo.
I hated Dawson I really didn’t like him the whole series and the way he treated pacey a lot made me hate him more pacey is better then Dawson ever will be and he seemed to respect Joey more then Dawson ever did like after he found out about them he wanted her to stay with him even though he knew she wanted to be with pacey it was always what Dawson wanted he didn’t care about what pacey and Joey wanted

no, dawson most likely felt if they started dated they tell him, like freinds should but no pacey telling him to give joey space go after kate why at the same time he was going after joey that why dawson felt like it was a betrayal.

Yes I felt bad for Jen she also has it hard at times from being rebellious in New York and her parents sent her to live with grams but that was the best thing to ever happen to her so she am sure was hurt by that from her parents but she grew she did well yes the worst boyfriend was Henry he was so obsessed and crazy for her and ended up going to football camp and dumped her like that that’s really low but so besides that and her bad influence friend Abby passing away she had IY better then being in New York she manages to be strong no matter what she went through grams was always by her side even they had disagreements.
Jen didn't screw herself over. She made bad choices all teenagers do at some point and some more than others. But they also make some good ones too. Moving in with her Grams taught her a lot, she was listening to, valued and loved. She was taught well and she eventually made some great friends. Neither of her parents really wanted her which caused her to be rebellious and act out. She went searching for love in all the wrong areas. In the end she may not have found romantic love but she found every other kind of love that matters. And she made an impact on everyone's life as well.

If you've listened to any of her earlier conversations on the series or even when her mother comes to visit you would have seen this. Yes she was still having hookups but it was never like it was New York there was so much more going on drinking and partying ect which she didn't do a lot after Abby's death. Even before she had changed quite a bit. She was never able to find that kind of love that Pacey and Joey have and I think deep down she wanted that but for the longest time I don't think she deemed herself work worthy of it. Hence her video message to Amy the last episode.

I think Joey has enabled him, as well, but Joey was not about to babysit Pacey either (meaning she will help him, but he's got to do the work, too). I also think the reason they fought a lot was b/c of Joey and Dawson’s relationship. Dawson always appeared to be the problem of their relationship (Pacey still feeling he has to compete). That's like when Dawson was dating Jen (Joey was the problem in their relationship). They may have been ”soulmates,” but I honestly don't think they would have lasted if they got together. I think they were basing their ”soulmate” relationship because They were childhood friends. Even like in S1, Joey said something along the lines of nothing is changing; he (Dawson) is still stuck on the childhood. Even he's said he wants to go back to how things used to be. They would've never worked out.
Yes. Andie was the best thing that happened to Pacey. She brought out the best in him, and he did not feel insecure and he was so much in love with her but there was no chance foe them when Andie cheating him. With Joey, he put her on a pedestal and he felt insecure and inferior.. Joey did not bring out the best in him but i guess , she was his true love, always putting her happiness before everything else. Joey is one lucky girl.
