This is the only video that portrays the real character of the car. It pretends to be smoother, lighter and more modern that the W222, but it just makes the new S feel cheaper than it is. As someone who has both W222 and W223, I very much prefer the old school build quality and premium heaviness and roughness over the modern lightness and swiftness - from the feel of gear selector to the steering, mirror unfold and horn sound.

The European repair shops love when you have to take it to them for the repairs. $$$$$$$$$$$$$$$ I had an E350 for a little while. Had to let that thing go.

So much crap to break, and, believe me, it will all break. Cars like this depreciate at about the same rate as a rock accelerates when dropped down a well. My company supplied new German "luxury" cars for me for 20 yrs. All were nightmares despite perfect maintenance. Even the dealer's loaners broke down.
1 thing i dont understand, why wipers go first and water after? is the idea to destroy the ruber, befor humidity help on cleaning? water should be sprayed in front of the wipers, not before.... i am an mercedes owner, but this aply to all vehicals...
That thing better come with a hell of a warranty.
The first year its going to be perfect but afterwards it will start with some electronic problems unfortunately

i own E43 AMG with 70k kms, so far so good
