Ich weiß von diesem Problem und habe mir die erforderlichen Ersatzteile für mich bestellt (ca. 140€). Just in case... sie wäre im Fall der Fälle bei Triumph nicht kurzfristig lieferbar.
@hejrafa we can talk with some triumph owner that has been riding triumph for years and years and never had a problem, and talk to owners that can't even hear the word triumph, that's the point when we talk about quality it's about consistency and it takes alot of work to make your production line and company get the spirit of consistent quality...is more about culture, and I believe american and British motor companies will never reach the level of quality as Japanese companies, the culture is different, so I'll stick with yamaha for now...but always admiring a T120 when I see one...
From what information I've gathered it was an issue with the 2019-2020 Bonneville models. It was never recalled, but the mechanics know about and usually get an 'upgraded' part to exchange it. But again, that's just what I read on Reddit and what the mechanics told me in one shop.

Has the bike ever fell over on the gear lever side......that the usual cause on gear problems.
Yeah I heard about that. But no, mine never fell down.
Triumph Bonne is beautiful and fun to ride but the reliability still something they didn`t get it.
Last year I would’ve disagreed with you. Four years of no problems and good reliability. Now though, yeah what is going on xD

What was the part that failed?
It was the gear selector mechanism, twice. T1191944 that's the part number for Triumph.
Do the new bikes have the same problem? I hope not….
