In the grand scheme of things, it really wasn't that long ago, but there was still so much good stuff running on Class 1 out there. Cooler shortline schemes too... I see MMRR is still operating, but their power is the generic orange/black/yellow scheme now.
Both of these shortlines unfortunately arent really colorful anymore now that they're owned by Genesee and Wyoming. Idk why they force their color scheme onto other railroads.
Grand Rapids Eastern engines were cool to see…

Yuck. I hate Genesee and Wyoming paint job
3:40: My favorite shortline railroad engines! Do you have any videos of the GR #3839 in Muskegon? I love them both!
I don't have to many videos of the 3839. They were hard to catch with my work schedule.
I haven't seen, or heard one of these trains come up here to Packaging Corporation of America in Manistee (Stronach), MI in forever...
They are in there every day. I'm a trucker that goes in there often and the facility is full of boxcars coming and going daily...
@@bryanlosen3262 I drove OTR as an O/O from 1990 to 2005 myself

I know what you mean. It's a little boring seeing the same paint job on all the short lines.
